/ 01 Social media agency

Social media thathelps you sell.

Followers going up while enquiries stay flat is a warning, not a win. PromotEdge is a social media marketing agency that plans, creates and runs social media for Indian B2B and consumer brands, around the festival calendar from Durga Puja to Diwali, and judges it on enquiries, not likes.

Your buyers check your pages before they call. Our job is to impress your customers, not you. Social media marketing covers four jobs: deciding where your brand should be and what it should say, making the posts and videos, replying to people, and measuring what changed for the business.

See how social media works for construction equipment and D2C brands. Since 2015 we have served clients from a volleyball club and a jeweller to steel firms and a hospital.

/ 02 What's included

Social media,planned and run.

Most brands need two or three platforms done well, not seven done thinly. The audit tells us where to start.

01

Audit and strategy

Your accounts, audience and competitors in an honest report with the first three changes. Then platforms, voice, content pillars (the few themes you want to be known for) and the numbers we judge it on.

02

Content and Reels

Short video, carousels, statics and copy, made in-house for each platform and planned a month ahead, so a topical post can go out the same day. Diwali, Durga Puja, Onam, Eid and cricket are planned weeks ahead.

03

Social media management

Calendars, approvals, scheduling and posting, run weekly by one account lead.

04

Community management

Replies to comments and DMs, mention tracking, and escalation rules for complaints.

05

LinkedIn and founder voice

Company page, founder posts written with them, and employee advocacy (your staff sharing company posts, which often reach more people than the page).

06

YouTube channel

Channel plan, long videos and Shorts, with titles, thumbnails and chapters planned for search as well as subscribers.

07

Instagram, Facebook and more

Instagram for consumer discovery, Facebook for tier-2 and tier-3 towns, WhatsApp Channels for people who chose to hear from you, X for real-time comment, Pinterest for visual planning.

08

Paid amplification

Posts that already work get paid reach with the right audience, not random Boost spend. Our influencer, SEO and outdoor teams work from the same plan.

/ 03 Sound familiar?

Why social mediaoften goes nowhere.

“We post every day and nothing happens.”

Daily posting because the calendar says so wears out your audience. Three to five posts a week on your main platform usually do more, each giving people a reason to save, share or reply.

“Followers went up. Enquiries didn't.”

Followers are a diagnostic, not a goal. We track saves, shares, DMs, branded searches and enquiries traced through UTM-tagged links (small tags showing where a visit came from) to your CRM.

“We're a B2B company. Does social media even matter for us?”

Yes, mostly on LinkedIn and YouTube, where buyers and dealers check you before meetings. We build the posts around what they check first: who you are, what you make and proof that it works.

“Complaints and price questions sit in our comments and DMs for days.”

We reply on time, with agreed escalation rules, because everyone can read an unanswered complaint. We also set up a CRM (the software where every enquiry is kept and followed up), so a price DM does not get lost.

“Our founder approves every post, so we post late. And there is no time for LinkedIn.”

We write with founders, not for them. A short weekly call becomes posts in their own voice. Twenty minutes a week is usually enough, and approval rules set once let routine posts go out.

“Our brand has outgrown its first logo, and every page looks different.”

Posts made by three people in three styles tell buyers the company is smaller than it is. We fix the look and voice first, so every platform feels like one brand.

“We work in a regulated category.”

Health brands can't promise cures, finance brands must follow their regulator's rules on advice, and real estate posts carry the RERA number. We check every post. See healthcare and real estate.

“We need orders this month.”

Organic social is weak as a quick sales fix. Meta Ads or Google Ads do more now. With no clear positioning yet, start with brand strategy.

/ 05 How we work

Strategy first,then the calendar.

From first call to the first scheduled posts usually takes about a month. Engagement usually improves in two months; audience growth, branded searches and enquiries take three to six months. Anyone promising viral growth in weeks is selling something temporary.

  1. 01

Discovery and audit (weeks 1 and 2)

Your accounts, audience, competitors and what has worked. Brand voice work if needed. We also ask your sales team what buyers ask.

  2. 02

    Strategy (weeks 2 and 3)

Platforms, content pillars, voice rules, posting rhythm and the numbers we'll be judged on, signed off before production starts, as a short document.

  3. 03

Set up production (weeks 3 and 4)

Templates, brand rules, a content pipeline, approval steps and the first batch of posts for your review.

  4. 04

    Run (every week)

Content, posting and community management, with a quality check before anything goes live. Comments and DMs are checked every working day.

  5. 05

    Monthly review

What performed, what didn't, and next month's plan, with weak months said plainly. We promote the two or three posts with the most saves and shares, on a spend agreed in advance.

  6. 06

    Quarterly reset

A wider look at formats, platforms and pillars. We drop what isn't working, because platforms change formats often.

Our beliefWe look at your business first. Marketing comes second.

More on this

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A D2C brand leans on Reels and product-in-use posts. A dealer-led maker (see construction equipment) puts its energy on LinkedIn and YouTube, where dealers and buyers check it before a meeting. A franchise or local shop needs one clearly run page per outlet, and Facebook often matters in tier-2 and tier-3 towns. A marketplace seller uses social to bring buyers to its own WhatsApp and site.

  1. Start with what buyers ask your sales team. Posts that answer real questions get saved and shared. Invented topics do not. A short list of content pillars.
  2. Choose two platforms, not seven. A steady presence on two looks more serious than a thin one on seven. A platform plan in the strategy document.
  3. Plan a month ahead, and festivals earlier. Diwali and Durga Puja fill every feed. A late post misses the moment. A calendar you approve before production.
  4. Reply to comments and DMs every working day. Everyone can read an unanswered complaint or price question. Reply times in the monthly report.
  5. Pay to promote only posts that already work. Money on a weak post only shows more people a weak post. The posts with the most saves and shares, on a spend agreed first.

Go deeper: the Indian market and the rules

Where your buyers are

In the Kantar and IAMAI Internet in India report, 57% of users prefer content in regional languages, and 286 million are "cord cutters" who choose digital platforms over traditional TV. So we plan content by language and by market, not only by platform.

Who sets the rules

ASCI is India's voluntary advertising self-regulator. Its site lists an influencer resource and endorser due diligence, both useful when your page shares creator content or runs paid posts.

AI in social media: today and next

Today: AI helps, and must be labelled

Meta says content with detectable AI signals will be labelled "AI info", and it may require a label from people who share photorealistic video or realistic-sounding audio made or altered with AI. Penalties are possible if a required label is missing. YouTube asks creators to say when AI meaningfully alters or generates realistic content; AI used for scripts, titles or thumbnails needs no disclosure. We use AI to draft and sort ideas, and a person checks every post.

/ 07 Cost

What affects the cost of social media management.

You pay for the work, not for a fixed package. The list of work is written down before you agree to anything.

We don't publish a price list. The fee depends on how many platforms we run, how much content each needs and how much of it is video. Paid promotion budgets are separate and paid at actuals.

What affects the cost

  • Platforms, and brands or sub-brands
  • Posts and videos a month on each
  • Video production: phone-shot, edited footage or full shoots
  • Community management hours and reply times
  • Founder or leadership content on LinkedIn
  • Approval rounds: one is quicker and cheaper than three

How we quote

  1. We talk about your brand, your buyers and which platforms they use.
  2. We look at your current pages: what you post, what gets a response and how you reply.
  3. We send a written list of what we will do: platforms, posts and videos a month, and community management hours.
  4. We send the quote within 2 working days, with content, video and community work on separate lines. You approve it first.

What you get in the quote

  • The platforms, posts and videos each month, and the video type
  • Community management hours and reply times
  • The approval rounds included, and the monthly report
  • Any paid budget shown apart; a monthly retainer, a one-off strategy project, or a launch burst

Ad budgets are paid to the platforms directly. GST applies to our fee. Our guide to Instagram ads cost in India explains how the ad auction prices paid reach.

Straight answers.

  • It decides where your brand should be on social media and what it should say, then makes posts and videos, replies to people and reports what changed for the business. That is the organic side. Meta Ads is paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram; most brands need both, planned together.

  • Less often than most agencies suggest: three to five well-made posts a week on your main platform usually beat daily posting. Be where your buyers decide: consumer brands usually start with Instagram, B2B with LinkedIn, research-heavy categories add YouTube. Two platforms run with care beat six run thinly.

  • Indirectly. Social posts don't pass ranking signals the way links do. But an active presence drives branded searches, mentions and coverage, which build the authority that lifts rankings and AI citations. YouTube videos can also appear in Google's own results.

  • We look at share of voice (how much of your category's talk is about you), branded search growth, engagement quality and, where traceable, enquiries and sales. Follower counts are reported but aren't the goal. We set the targets with you in the strategy.

  • Yes, where your audience needs it. We plan content by market and language, not just platform. Through our language partners we create content in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more, and a native speaker checks each post before it goes out.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India and stays in touch daily. We meet you in your city every three months and sit at your office or shop when needed. See our work in Mumbai and Delhi NCR. Posts are planned around regional festivals, from Bihu to Onam.

  • It depends on platforms, content and video per platform, and community hours. One platform costs far less than several. We don't publish a price list; we quote against a written list of work, after a free audit for projects we think we can help.

  • One person who can approve posts quickly, and early news of launches and offers. We also need product samples or site access for shoots, and admin roles on your pages. Accounts stay in your company's name. A half-hour monthly review keeps the work honest.
