Videos people stop for,and act on.

A video every week is not a video plan, because the first two seconds decide whether anyone watches the rest. PromotEdge, a digital marketing company, plans, tests and posts short video on Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, so the right people stop, watch and then enquire.

This page starts once a video exists: the plan, the hook (the first line or picture that makes someone stop scrolling), the cut-downs, posting and the numbers. Filming is our video production work, paid YouTube runs through Google Ads, and your whole presence is on the social media marketing page.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

Hurdles we often see,and the way through.

“We post every week, and people scroll straight past.”

We rewrite the opening around a question your buyer already has, then test two or three versions.

“We have one good brand film, and it played once at the launch.”

One film becomes many: upright Reels and Shorts, a LinkedIn version and Story clips, each with its own opening.

“Our Reels get views, but nobody calls.”

Each video gets one next step: WhatsApp, a form or a call. Tagged links show which video sent the enquiry.

“We are B2B (we sell to businesses). Do Reels matter for us?”

Maybe not Reels. Your buyers may be on LinkedIn and YouTube, where an engineer explaining a machine often beats a polished film.

“The video looks great on a laptop and wrong on a phone.”

We frame for the upright phone screen and add captions, because many people watch with the sound off.

“Nobody can say which video worked.”

We read where viewers stop, which videos bring enquiries and what each enquiry cost.

/ 04 How we work

First tests livein about three weeks.

Planning guidance only. It moves faster when you share footage and give quick feedback.

  1. 01

    Week 1: listen and read

We talk to you and your sales team, and read your past videos' numbers.

  2. 02

    Week 2: plan and hooks

The video plan and the first list of openings, signed off by you. Accounts stay in your company's name.

  3. 03

Weeks 2 to 6: cut and test small

Each short video in two or three versions, posted to small audiences first. Winners get posted widely.

  4. 04

Month 2 onwards: scale what works

More videos like the winners, and the best ones boosted through Meta Ads on a budget you agree first.

  5. 05

    Every quarter: step back

Is each platform still worth the effort? If one should be dropped, we will say so.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A B2B maker shows the plant, the machine running and an engineer answering a doubt, mostly on LinkedIn and YouTube. A D2C brand tests product demos on Reels and Shorts. A franchise or local shop shows its people and its street.

Who sets the rules in India

ASCI, the ad industry's own standards body, published its Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media in May 2021. Creator videos carry a clear ad label.

  1. Collect the five questions buyers ask most. Each question is a hook, and it comes from real buyers. A hook list.
  2. Make two or three openings for one video. One opens on the question, one shows the result, one has a person speaking to camera. A test log.
  3. Read where viewers leave. A dip shows the exact moment to re-cut. A retention read each month.
  4. Keep length honest. A two-minute Reel that loses people at second three is really a three-second Reel. Shorter or longer cuts, chosen by the numbers.

AI in video marketing: today and next

Today: YouTube's label rule

YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic content made or meaningfully altered with AI, using the "AI use" setting in YouTube Studio. Non-realistic content and minor edits, such as beauty filters or captions, need no label.

Source: YouTube Help, altered or synthetic content, read 10 October 2026

Today: ASCI

ASCI published a report on AI in advertising in March 2025, so we check the rules before any AI-made footage goes live.

Our view: captions, first cuts and resizing will keep getting faster. Choosing the hook and judging the result stay with people. Want us to look at where AI could help your next video? Ask us.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the cost of video marketing.

No price list. These things move the number.

Any boosting budget is a third-party cost, paid at actuals and shown before you approve.

What affects the cost

  • How many platforms we run video on
  • Videos a month, and cut-downs from each
  • Whether you have footage, or new filming is needed
  • How many openings we test for each video
  • Captions, language versions and comment replies

How we quote

  1. We ask what you sell, who buys it and which platforms they use
  2. We watch your past videos and read their numbers
  3. We write the scope: platforms, videos a month, tests, tracking, reports

What you get in the quote

  • Platforms, videos a month and versions tested
  • Captions, covers and thumbnails
  • Link tagging and enquiry tracking
  • A monthly report and review call

When you compare quotes, ask how many versions of each video will be tested, whether the report shows enquiries and not only views, and whether filming is priced on its own line.

Straight answers.

  • It decides which videos your brand needs, where they run and what each must do. Then it shapes the openings, cuts for each platform, posts them and reports which brought enquiries, not only views. You approve the plan and the monthly calendar, and the report ends with what to make more of next month.

  • No. Production is making the film. Video marketing is getting it watched by the right people and turned into enquiries. We do both, with our in-house team of 65+ people, plus consultants and partner agencies where needed. One team plans, shoots and posts, so nothing is lost between the two.

  • As long as the story holds people, and no longer. YouTube says Shorts can be up to 3 minutes, and LinkedIn takes videos up to 15 minutes. We usually start shorter, then let the retention numbers say whether people want more.

  • We agree the goal before the first post and count WhatsApp messages, calls and forms from tagged links. YouTube Studio's "Intro" figure shows the share still watching after 30 seconds. Ongoing work has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.

  • Show the work buyers can't easily see: a plant tour, a machine running, an engineer answering a common doubt, a customer explaining why they chose you. These work well on LinkedIn and YouTube, where B2B buyers check a supplier before a meeting.

  • Yes. We serve your city through a servicing team based in cities across India, in touch every day. We visit regularly, and our team can work at your location when a shoot needs it. Posting and testing happen online, so being in another city changes very little.

  • Yes, for projects we think we can help, and we take a limited number. If video is not the right place for your effort right now, we will say so. You send us your last few videos and their numbers, and we tell you where viewers leave and what we would test first.

  • We won't call ourselves the best. Ask every agency four questions. Will it test different openings before scaling? Will it report enquiries, not only views? Will it name videos not worth reusing? Will accounts stay in your name? Ask to see a sample test log and report.
