A city of traders trusts marketing only when it can count what it sold. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, Hindi papers and radio, and shows you each month what your money brought back.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A trading city judges marketing the way a trader judges stock: by what sold. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, social media, Hindi papers and radio for the city's traders, food brands, factories and IT firms, and each month shows you which channel brought orders.
How we work with you: our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We meet you in Indore at least once a quarter, and when a job needs it, a team member works from your site.
The district administration's website calls Indore "the commercial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh". Census 2011 counted 32,76,697 people in the district, about three in four of them in urban areas. Many of your buyers are traders, and the families and firms they serve.
One team plans your digital marketing, advertising and BTL work. BTL (below the line) means meeting buyers in person, at stalls, events and shops. So your Dainik Bhaskar ad and your Google listing make the same offer. Here is what we would check first.
A site that answers only in Hindi or only in English loses the other searcher.
02A stranger who finds you online needs a reason to trust you before the call.
03Colour on the streets and food after dark: a feed that skips both feels foreign.
04Reach is not the test; the test is which Hindi daily or FM station rang your phone.
05Selling harder stops working the day a rival matches your rate.
06Readers trust a news story more when you did not pay for the words.
Three things decide where your budget should go here.
1. A trading city in a farm state, with factories and IT close by. PRS Legislative Research says Madhya Pradesh's GSDP is projected at ₹18.48 lakh crore for 2026-27, 11% more than the year before. GSDP is the total value of everything the state produces in a year. Farming made up about 44% of the state's economy in 2024-25. SOPA, the Soybean Processors Association of India, has had its headquarters in Indore since 1979. About 50 km away, near Pithampur, NATRAX runs a national vehicle-testing centre. On the Super Corridor, Infosys says its Indore centre has "more than 3,300 employees". A 2014 report said TCS was setting up a centre on the same road. A soybean processor, a parts maker and a software firm each buy in their own way.
More on the farm economy, the Hindi papers, the festival calendar and the clean-city record, with sources.
2. Hindi first, with papers that grew up here. The district site gives Hindi as Indore's language. Dainik Bhaskar's publisher, DB Corp, says its Indore edition, launched on 5 March 1983, was the paper's first move outside Bhopal. Nai Dunia's own site names three freedom fighters as its founders. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 55.76 million internet subscribers in Madhya Pradesh in March 2026. That is 62.13 for every 100 people, against 76.59 across India. The state's towns had 123.31 per 100; its villages, 36.74. So an Indore shop can reach buyers on their phones. A dealer network in rural Malwa may still need print and radio.
3. A year marked by colour, tableaux and street food. Every March, five days after Holi, the municipal corporation sprinkles coloured water on old Indore's main streets for Rangpanchami. Every September, on Anant Chaturdashi, IMC and the Indore Development Authority run a procession of tableaux, joined by the old textile mills. MP Tourism calls Sarafa Bazar "a hotspot for foodies at night". Namkeen makers, sweet shops and jewellers plan around these moments. The table below shows where to reach their buyers.
In the 2024-25 national cleanliness survey, the government placed Indore in the Super Swachh League. That league is for cities ranked first, second or third at least once in the last three years, and still ranking well. IMC (the Indore Municipal Corporation) says Indore was ranked India's cleanest city seven years in a row. Posters on clean walls cost a brand goodwill here.

Indore has four private FM stations, plus Hindi and English dailies. The court and the mayor have said illegal hoardings must come down. So test two stations and keep the one that brings calls. Leave roadside boards out.
| What | In Indore | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | Four stations on the government's list of 30 March 2026: 92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz. | Run one spot on two stations, then keep the one that brings calls. |
| Akashvani (All India Radio) | Primary Channel on 648 kHz and Vividh Bharati on 101.6 MHz. The government's 2017 card lists Vividh Bharati Indore at ₹390 gross per 10-second spot, 6.30 to 10 am and 7 to 11 pm. That is the station's rate, not ours. | Reaches towns beyond the city, at a published cost. |
| Hindi dailies | Dainik Bhaskar, Patrika and Dainik Agniban have Indore editions on the list of the ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations). Nai Dunia is not on it. | The main print route to Hindi-reading families and traders. |
| English dailies | Free Press, The Times of India and The Economic Times have Indore editions on the ABC list. | For owners, plant heads and IT staff. |
| Roadside hoardings | In August 2016 the Madhya Pradesh High Court told IMC that "no permission will be given for roadside hoardings in the city". | Don't build a campaign on roadside boards. |
| Illegal boards, 2026 | A report dated 28 July 2026 says the High Court at Indore ordered illegal hoardings removed within 24 hours, with FIRs (police cases). On 31 July the mayor ordered all illegal hoardings removed, citing a "zero-tolerance policy" and court directives. | Even a one-day event banner needs permission. |
| How sites are given | Hoardings go by tender under the Madhya Pradesh Outdoor Media Rules-2017, that report says. In March 2025 IMC sought bids for 6 unipoles (large boards on one pole) on a 5-year PPP (public-private partnership) lease. | We check who holds a site, and its permit, before we quote. |
| Metro | About 17 km was open by September 2026. The 2018 Cabinet approval counted on "rental & advertisement" income. | Station media is new. Ask for footfall figures first. |
| Airport | 42,44,999 passengers in 2025-26, up 12.9%. On the AAI (Airports Authority of India) table, that growth beat Jaipur, Lucknow, Surat and Kochi. | Business visitors often see your website before they meet you. |
| Phoenix mall | Opened in December 2022 as Phoenix Citadel; since renamed Phoenix Pride of India. Its site spoke of "100+ brands coming for the first time in Indore". | A local brand needs a clear reason for shoppers to pick it. |
Checked 4 October 2026. We found no published IMC rate list for outdoor sites, and have not read the 2017 rules' text. General guidance, not legal advice.

Brands are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.
We don't publish a price list. We write a scope for your Indore work and quote against it. Media, stalls, printing and travel are passed on at actual cost, and you approve each line.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Ongoing work with a review each month; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Fixed project | A website, a launch or one festival push; timeline confirmed in the quote (websites usually 4 to 6 weeks) |
Ask for a free plan: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists and a one-page plan. When you compare quotes, ask who writes the Hindi copy.

Since 2015 we have worked with Indian brands. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, so Indore clients get the same team whether we meet on a call or in person.
Meeting you. The first talk is a video call. We then keep travelling to meet you in Indore, to understand your business, review results and plan. When a job needs it, a team member works from your office or plant.
How we plan and test, the media we book and what changes the cost.
Ground truth. We talk to your sales team and dealers, not just your marketing desk. For some jobs we bring in industry consultants or a partner agency, and we name them.
Online work. SEO (search engine optimisation: being found on Google without paying per click), ads, your website and social media run online, in hybrid mode. The ad accounts stay in your company's name.
Papers, radio and outdoor. We book Hindi and English dailies, FM, Akashvani and permitted outdoor sites. You see each rate first.
Stalls and launches. A convention-centre stall or a mall launch is planned with you and delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Hindi and English. We plan a Hindi version wherever your buyers read Hindi. Our language partners write it, and can also work in Marathi, Gujarati and more.
One service first. We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck. So most clients start with one job, then add more once the numbers hold. Desi Machines is a PromotEdge group brand we built. What moves the cost is listed below.
More that changes the cost:
We start with logic and your numbers, not with ideas we happen to like. First we read your last three months of enquiries. Then we test small, say a month of Google search against a month in a Hindi daily, and back the winner. Your rival on MG Road may need a different plan, so we never copy one.
Outdoor. Only permitted sites and tendered unipoles; the 2016 court order rules out roadside hoardings.
Timing. Slots around Rangpanchami, Ganeshotsav and Diwali go first.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India, and an in-house team of 65+ works with it. Most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. You meet us in person in Indore at least once every three months, and we talk daily. When a job needs it, a team member works from your office or plant.
No agency can say that honestly, and we won't. Ask each agency, us included, four things. Have you sold to buyers like mine? Can you show results in numbers? Who writes my Hindi ads? Are the ad accounts in my name? Pick the answers you can check.
Yes, with the same team, and each town gets its own report line. Pithampur, in Dhar district, is nicknamed the "Detroit of India", says Wikipedia, citing The Times of India. The 2025 Global Investors Summit in Bhopal signed MoUs worth ₹30.77 lakh crore. An MoU (memorandum of understanding) is a written promise to invest, not money spent.
It depends on who buys from you. Families, shop customers and many traders read Hindi. Three of the papers on the ABC list with an Indore edition are Hindi dailies. IT staff and buyers in other states often prefer English. Many Indore plans need both, with the Hindi written by our language partners.
Rangpanchami comes every March, five days after Holi. Anant Chaturdashi closes Ganeshotsav every September. For Rangpanchami, start planning in January; for the September tableaux, book print and radio by July. Diwali falls in October or November, and search and social ads can start within days.
Only with permission. In 2016 the Madhya Pradesh High Court told IMC to allow no roadside hoardings. A July 2026 report says the High Court at Indore ordered illegal hoardings removed within 24 hours, and licensed sites go by tender under the Madhya Pradesh Outdoor Media Rules-2017. We confirm each site's permission before you pay. General guidance, not legal advice.
