Thousands of startups want the same click.Give buyers a clear reason to pick you.

With thousands of startups chasing the same click, the brand that gives buyers a clear reason is the one they call. PromotEdge is a digital marketing company that plans search, ads, websites, content, media and events for startups, tech firms and city brands.

Then we count which of them turned into sales conversations.

Bangalore or Bengaluru, "digital marketing services" or a "digital marketing company": people search all of these. They want the same help, which is getting the right buyers to find, trust and contact you. We start with your buyers, not with a tool.

Startups and software firms. We size the work to your stage, as the FAQs say. Business buyers here read pricing pages and founder posts before they book a demo. SEO (search engine optimisation) and Google Search suit firms buyers check first. LinkedIn suits B2B (business-to-business) teams selling to job titles. Instagram suits food, beauty and home brands.

More on this

How we deliver it in Bangalore, and why

  1. Size the work to your stage. A seed startup and a funded one need different plans. A scope matched to stage.
  2. Split cost per qualified lead by channel and audience. CAC climbs when money goes where it cannot be traced. A monthly report by channel.
  3. Check content with your product team. Business buyers read pricing pages and founder posts closely. Pages your team has signed off.
  4. Design Kannada and English together. Business boards in Karnataka must give Kannada 60% of the space, in the upper half. Both languages on every board and stall.
  5. Plan around Dasara to Deepavali and the Tech Summit. Shops and B2B firms peak at different times. A calendar to February's Aero India.

Go deeper: Bangalore's economy and companies

Local economy

Invest Karnataka lists 10 focus industries, in no ranked order. They are auto, auto components and electric vehicles, aerospace and defence, and electronics design and manufacturing. Next come biotech, pharma and medical devices, agro and food processing, and textile and apparel. The last are tourism and wellness, innovation and startups, clean energy, and research and development. Its site also says Bengaluru "Leads in Tech Startups and Funding".

Per Wikipedia, the Peenya Industrial Area hosts makers of CNC machine tools, die-casting, transformers, motors and hydraulics.

Karnataka had over 22,600 DPIIT-recognised startups on 31 March 2026, second only to Maharashtra. At the state's GCC policy launch in 2024, Bengaluru was said to hold over 30 percent of India's GCCs. A GCC (global capability centre) is the in-house tech unit of a foreign firm. The policy aims for 500 new ones by 2029, a target, not a result.

Big companies in Bengaluru

Each company's own page shows its Bengaluru base. Bharat Electronics lists its corporate office at Outer Ring Road, Nagavara. Wipro's corporate office is at Doddakannelli, Sarjapur Road. Bosch Limited's registered office is on Hosur Road. It says its development centre here is its largest outside Germany. Titan's corporate office is in Electronic City (its registered office is in Hosur, Tamil Nadu). Swiggy's head office is in K R Puram. It launched food delivery in 2014 and Instamart in 2020. ISRO's homepage refers to its headquarters in Bengaluru.

Retail has big names too: Apple Hebbal opened on 2 September 2025 as Apple's first store in South India. IKEA Nagasandra opened on 22 June 2022, the first IKEA in Karnataka.

Chambers of commerce

The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) calls itself the apex chamber for large and medium industries in Karnataka. The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) calls itself the state's apex body for industry, trade and services. It says it has 3,000+ direct members.

AI in digital marketing: today and next

Today

Google says Performance Max reaches YouTube, Search, Display, Maps and more from one campaign. It uses Google AI to optimise for your goal. TechCrunch reported on 8 October 2025 that Google's AI Mode works in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and other Indian languages.

So a Bengaluru buyer may now ask AI a question in Kannada before choosing a brand. We would give these tools clean lead data first. A native reader would check every Kannada line.

/ 03 The Bangalore market

Three facts that decide where a Bangalore budget goes.

Income, languages and the calendar decide where a Bangalore budget goes.

1. A fast-growing state, led by one rich city. PRS Legislative Research puts Karnataka's GSDP (the value of everything a state produces in a year) at about ₹33.06 lakh crore for 2026-27. That is a 7% rise. In 2025-26 it grew 8% after price rises, against 7.4% for India. Output per person was ₹4,77,003, against India's ₹2,51,393. Quoting the state's Economic Survey, PRS says Bengaluru has the highest income per person in Karnataka.

2. Almost everyone online, in many languages. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 70.18 million internet subscribers in Karnataka in March 2026. That is 101.72 for every 100 people, against 76.59 for India (one person may hold two connections). Census 2011, as reported, puts Kannada first in Bengaluru at about 42%, then Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Office buyers often read English; homes may need Kannada too.

3. A festival run, then a trade-show run. Ugadi and Ganesha Chaturthi are behind us for 2026. Mysuru Dasara, the state festival, runs from 11 to 21 October 2026. Kannada Rajyotsava falls on 1 November and Deepavali on 8 November. The 29th Bengaluru Tech Summit runs from 17 to 19 November 2026 at BIEC. Aero India, the air show, returns on 8 to 12 February 2027. Shops peak from Dasara to Deepavali; B2B firms plan around the shows.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of marketing in Bangalore.

We don't publish a price list. Media, stalls, shoots and travel are billed at actual cost, each approved by you first.

What affects the cost

  • How hard your searches are fought. SaaS, fintech and hiring searches draw many funded bidders.
  • Who you sell to. Companies mean LinkedIn and longer sales cycles; households mean Google and Instagram.
  • How many languages. English only, or Kannada, Tamil and Telugu versions too.
  • Offline media. Kannada and English papers, FM, metro pillars and outdoor sites under the 2026 rules.
  • Shows and launches. Stall size at BIEC or KTPO, and travel.
  • Timing. Dasara and Deepavali slots fill early.

How we quote

  1. A 30-minute call on your goals, stage and numbers.
  2. We review your website, ad accounts and Google presence.
  3. You get a written scope, costs line by line, within 2 working days.
  4. Once you sign off, work starts and a monthly report follows.

What you get in the quote

  • The work we will do, and what is left out
  • Milestones and dates
  • The people on your account
  • Our fee, apart from ad spend and media
  • What we report, and how often

Selling in Bangalore?

Show us last quarter's leads. We'll show you which ones paid.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • There is no single average, because cost follows your stage, channels and ad budget. A startup testing search costs less than a brand running ads and a stall. We don't publish a price list. We quote a written scope, with ad spend apart from our fee.

  • Bangalore accounts are handled by our servicing team, backed by the wider team across India. We work hybrid, with daily contact by calls and dashboards. We visit you at least once every three months, or more often when a launch, event or review needs it.

  • No honest agency can claim that title, so we won't. Check each shortlisted agency for a sample monthly report, the person on your account and ad spend billed apart. Ask about accounts in your name and what it will not do. Ask for proof in your kind of business and how you part ways.

  • Yes, if the scope fits the stage. Early on, we usually start with your message, website, search and a few strong articles. Paid ads come once we know which buyers convert. We also tell you plainly what to leave for later. That way a small budget is not spread too thin.

  • CAC (customer acquisition cost) is what you spend to win one customer. We look at where each rupee goes. We check cost per qualified lead by channel, pause weak campaigns, fix landing pages, and only then add spend. Many firms find one or two channels doing the real work.

  • It depends on who buys. English often works for office buyers and tech firms. Households and shops respond better when Kannada is there too. Business signboards in Karnataka must give Kannada 60% of the space, in the upper half. We test both languages in ads and keep the one that brings enquiries.

  • Not for online ads, which can go live within days. Mysuru Dasara starts on 11 October and Deepavali is on 8 November 2026. So many print, radio and outdoor slots are taken. For Ugadi 2027, plan by January, and book print, radio and outdoor slots early.

  • A monthly report shows leads by source and how many became sales conversations. It adds your cost per qualified lead: the average cost of an enquiry worth following up. For B2B firms we also track pipeline, the value of deals in progress.
