In healthcare, clear and calm content builds more trust than any discount, and the front desk decides whether that trust becomes a booking. PromotEdge plans marketing for diagnostic centres, clinics, dental clinics, and wellness and healthcare businesses.
We make each branch easy to find on Google and turn calls into bookings that are made and kept.
Patients search on Google and Maps, in aggregator apps (apps that list many labs and compare prices) and in family WhatsApp groups. The front desk decides the booking, backed by a CRM (one place for every enquiry).
Each branch gets its own Google Business Profile (the free listing on Google Maps). As a healthcare SEO agency, we also build test pages that show up when patients search by test and area. Healthcare branding keeps the name, look and signboard the same at every branch. Dental clinics and online pharmacies have their own pages.
We do not run promotion or lead generation for hospitals or individual doctors, because a patient who picks a doctor on promotion, not skill, may be put at risk. We do their design, websites and systems.
A strategist has a free 30-minute call with you, by phone or WhatsApp. You get a one-page plan, and a written quote follows within 2 working days of the call. Nothing starts until you approve it.
We take on a limited number of businesses and will tell you honestly if yours is a fit. We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.

Where healthcaremarketing goes wrong
“Patients compare our test price on an aggregator app and book a cheaper lab.”
Test pages on your website show what the price includes, such as home collection. Our local SEO (search engine optimisation) puts them before people who search by test and area.
“Patients come once for a test and we never hear from them again.”
With consent, the CRM sends a reminder for the yearly check-up or follow-up test, with a one-tap booking link. We set it up on WhatsApp, with a way to opt out.
Kopran, a pharmaceutical maker, is our client in this trade. We keep to one rule here: we do not promote hospitals or individual doctors. Clinics, diagnostic centres, pharma and wellness brands are where we help.

Pick two or three services to lead with and position on proof, such as report time. Fix listings and the phone number, and keep one booking record.
A lab that tries to be everything is easy to skip.
Next: digital
Pages for each test and treatment, WhatsApp booking with reminders and review replies. Also search ads for people ready to book.
Patients check you online first. Bookings are easy to count here.
Then: systems and AI
A CRM and reminders that send themselves. Reports on bookings made and kept, by branch. AI tools where they save staff time.
Marketing brings people in. Systems look after them.
Last: advertising and on the ground
Local press and outdoor near each branch, radio for groups, PR (public relations) at openings, and check-up tie-ups as activations.
Families return to labs they know. Meeting people builds trust.
Health days give plain explainers a reason when they match your services: World Health Day (7 April), World Heart Day (29 September) and World Diabetes Day (14 November).
Not sure whether to build your own booking route or lean on aggregator apps? Let's think it through together.

AI for healthcare:where it helps today.
Real business problems, from sales to back office, each with a plain AI fix. A person stays in charge of every step.
sales
A study reported in 2025 found pharma company brands stocked at only 60% to 85% of chemists in 18 cities, so some sales are lost.
The AI fix A WhatsApp assistant takes chemist orders and logs them, and a report flags chemists and brands that look short. The sales manager plans visits and sets credit terms.
A 2024 survey reported that about half of patients faced discharge delays while insurance claims were processed, and complex paperwork was named as a cause.
The AI fix A document tool checks claim files for missing pages and mismatched names, dates and amounts before they go to the insurer. The billing team decides what to submit.
We'd rather show you results than a nice presentation.

The healthcare market in depth
Market size and trend
India spent ₹8.81 lakh crore on health in 2022-23, which is 3.37% of GDP (the country's yearly output). Families paid 43.4% of it from their own pockets, down from 64.2% in 2013-14. CareEdge Ratings expects diagnostics to grow about 12% a year for five years.
Someone feels unwell, or a doctor advises a test. They ask family, look for a lab near them on Google Maps, and compare price, timing and reviews on an app. They drop out when the price is unclear, the slot is late, or nobody picks up the phone.
What buyers expect
In their words: "Is my report right? Will it come on time? Is the price fair? Can someone come home?" Few say it aloud, but they judge a calm front desk, a clean waiting area, and whether you ask before you use their number.
How businesses here sell
A single lab or clinic wins on its front desk and its Google listing. Chains grow through franchise collection centres. Thyrocare's January 2026 investor slides show 61% of its revenue through franchise partners, 33% through partners such as aggregator apps, and 6% direct from patients. See franchise and online pharmacies, and our business models guide.
Health records are going digital. By July 2026, over 93 crore ABHA accounts (a patient's digital health ID) were linked to over 104 crore records, and labs and clinics can join. AI today: booking answers and check-up reminders, sent with consent. AI next: assistants that book a test in the patient's own language. AI cannot read a report or advise a patient. See AI automation systems.
Google treats health as a sensitive subject. Ads about a condition or treatment cannot target your patient list or past site visitors. Google's own audiences and location targeting still work. In India, ads and landing pages cannot name prescription medicines. Online pharmacies need LegitScript verification and Google certification. We run Google Ads for diagnostic centres, clinics and wellness brands, dental clinics included. We do not promote hospitals or individual doctors. Add plurals to negative keywords, because Google does not match close variants. Google hides the caller's number in India, so match each ad call to a booking with tracking.

People, bodies and stories
Associations and bodies
NABL is the accreditation board for labs. It assesses medical labs under the ISO 15189 standard. NABH accredits healthcare providers, including clinics, dental clinics and imaging centres. NATHEALTH is an industry forum formed in 2012. ABDM (the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) runs India's digital health records.

People who scaled the category
Vandana Luthra opened a wellness and beauty centre in New Delhi in 1989 and founded VLCC. Ameera Shah is promoter and Executive Chairperson of Metropolis Healthcare, a lab chain. Its board approved her re-appointment for five years from March 2026.
1mg began in 2012 as HealthKart Plus, a site that explained medicines. Trust came first. It sold medicines only later, as its own company from 2015.
Tata Digital took a majority stake in 2021. A senior leader told Inc42 that marketing makes the promise, but the whole business must keep it. So it buys medicines from makers or authorised distributors.
You can do much yourself: keep one phone number on every listing, answer calls and reviews within a day, and ask patients before you message them. Accreditation, licences and medical wording are not ours. They come from the accreditation board, your lawyer and your doctors. We do not run promotion for hospitals or individual doctors. They get design, websites and systems.
How we would deliver, and why each step
First the basics: one phone number, a Google listing for each branch and one booking record. Ads sent to a wrong number are wasted. Second, a page for each test or treatment, checked by a doctor and a lawyer. Third, search ads and WhatsApp reminders with consent. Fourth, a CRM report on bookings made and kept. Rima Shaw, our Senior Account Manager, is your day-to-day contact and sends the weekly reports. Shivanand Mishra, our Digital Marketing Lead, runs the SEO audits, lead generation and the reporting.
Diagnostics
Our view: most people take a test because a doctor advises it. Referrals and price decide the lab. Thyrocare, a listed lab chain, showed 61% of its pathology revenue from franchise partners such as small collection centres (January 2026). One rule: NABL says accreditation belongs to one lab location. An ad that claims it must show the certificate number, and a franchisee that is not accredited cannot use it. Doctor referral cards and a Google profile for each centre work well. The lab and its reports are not ours.

What a healthcare ad can say
Every claim must be true and provable. Never say or hint at a cure, and mark paid posts as paid.
Cure claims: Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954. No ad may claim a drug or remedy treats or prevents diseases on its list, such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer.
Pharma: UCPMP 2024. The Uniform Code for Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices, notified in March 2024, covers how companies promote medicines. Prescription medicines go only to healthcare professionals, not the public.
All health ads: the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI). Claims need evidence. Influencers who give technical health advice must hold and state a relevant qualification. Since April 2025, a general promotion needs none.
Patient data: Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Take clear consent for patient stories, and keep health data out of ad platforms.
Sex determination: Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, 1994. Diagnostic and fertility clinics must never advertise it.
Rules change and states add their own, so medical and legal advisers should sign off every campaign. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
In 2024-25, ASCI found 233 ads that potentially broke the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, among 3,347 ads the law bars. Healthcare was 5.23% of its cases. Source: ASCI Annual Complaints Report 2024-25, press release dated 28 May 2025.
AI for the back office
supply chain
Pharma companies hold about 15 weeks of stock in the supply chain, yet chemists still run short of their brands.
The AI fix A forecasting model uses past sales by area and season to suggest stock per stockist, and warns early of stock-outs or expiry. The planner approves the plan.
One large hospital chain's filing says government scheme payments take longer to collect than cash or insurance, so hospitals must track many pending bills.
The AI fix A dashboard matches payment advices and bank credits to bills, shows what is pending by payer and age, and drafts reminders. Accounts staff send follow-ups and decide write-offs.
Nurse attrition at one large hospital chain was more than double its doctor attrition in FY2026, so rosters must be rebuilt often.
The AI fix A rostering assistant takes shift and leave requests on WhatsApp, drafts a roster that follows ward rules, and flags short wards. A nurse manager approves every roster.
Dates change. Check the organiser's site before you plan.

What we can learn from the leadersin Healthcare.
Well-known Indian brands, each with one plain lesson for an owner in your line of work. Names only, as public examples.
Dr Lal PathLabs
Bundle your services into clearly named packages. Customers can then choose in one step instead of reading a long list.
What they did Its timeline says Dr. Major S.K. Lal began the business in 1949. It expanded into four regions, listed in December 2015 and launched the Swasthfit bundled test programme.
Serve both sides of your market. Software that helps the businesses you list run their day can sit beside what you offer customers.
What they did Practo says it offers a doctor directory with online booking and practice software, called Ray, for clinics. It also offers diagnostic tests through associate labs and medicine delivery.
Put related services under one app and one name, so a customer who comes for one thing finds the others.
What they did PharmEasy's website calls it a consumer healthcare 'super app'. It lists medicines and health products delivered home, diagnostic tests and teleconsultations.
Make a clear, public offer to the right organisation. A well-aimed offer can get you noticed.
What they did On 7 February 2001, a KFF Health News briefing headline said Indian drug firm Cipla offered low-priced AIDS drugs to Doctors Without Borders.
For design, websites and systems, yes. For promotion and lead generation, no. We do not market hospitals or individual doctors. Diagnostic centres, clinics, dental clinics and wellness businesses get our full service. If you are a hospital or a doctor, ask us about design, websites or systems only.
It helps patients find and trust a clinic, lab or wellness business, then book. It differs in four ways. Patients arrive worried. No ad may promise a cure. Trust comes from clear explanations and a calm front desk. Success is bookings made and kept.
A Google listing for each branch, plus pages for each test and treatment, and SEO for your services and area. Also search ads, social explainers, WhatsApp booking and a CRM, which is a system that keeps patient and enquiry records. We judge it on bookings made and kept.
Carefully. Use them only with the patient's written, informed consent, and describe the experience without promising outcomes. Never pay for or reward a review, and leave out medical details unless the patient agreed. Check your professional council's advertising rules too, before you publish any patient story or review.
Start with a verified Google Business Profile for each branch, with correct timings, photos and genuine reviews. Add pages that answer real patient questions. Then run search ads for people ready to book, and count bookings made and kept, not only calls or clicks.
Fixing call handling, your Google listings and search ads can lift enquiries early. Explainer content and SEO take longer to build, and so does reputation. We confirm the timeline in the quote, so you know what to expect in the first month and what only shows up after a few months of steady work.
We don't publish a price list, because one clinic and a multi-branch diagnostic group need very different plans. A written quote follows within 2 working days, each cost on its own line, so you can see what each part of the work costs and compare it with other quotes.
Ask every agency, including us: Can we see work for clinics or labs? Do you know the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act? Do you judge results on bookings, not clicks? Will patient data stay out of ad platforms? Will ad accounts be in our name?
