Nobody hands over savings to a brand they don't trust. Marketing has to earn that trust, inside the rules.
Customers do not hand over money to a financial brand until it earns their trust, and every ad has to stay inside the rules while it does that. PromotEdge plans advertising for banks, and helps other BFSI (banking and financial services, plus insurance) brands win more funded accounts and issued policies: lenders, insurers and fintechs.
Our plans pair mass media with digital and on-ground work. They stay inside RBI (Reserve Bank of India) rules for loans, SEBI (the market regulator) rules for investments and IRDAI (the insurance regulator) rules for insurance. We judge the result on accounts and policies, not on cheap leads.
We work with banks, NBFCs (non-bank lenders) and housing finance companies. We also work with insurers, insurance brokers, AMCs (the companies that run mutual funds), wealth firms, stockbrokers and fintech platforms. For fintechs we work as a fintech marketing agency. The same RBI, SEBI and IRDAI limits apply to every ad.
Before they hand over money, customers want three answers. Can I trust you? Is this right for me? How easy is it to start?
Mainline media and PR (public relations, meaning news coverage) make the name feel solid. Digital content answers money questions as people search. On-ground camps put a face to the brand.

Fix the biggest leak first. Our conversion rate optimisation work checks each step up to video KYC (the online identity check). A WhatsApp nudge brings people back.
This is mine“Every ad takes three weeks to clear compliance.”
Build the review into the calendar. Our content work checks each claim, rate and disclaimer at the script stage, so sign-off is quick and launch dates hold.
This is mine“Nobody outside the big cities knows our name.”
Use regional-language radio and newspapers, then run rural and small-town camps with your field staff. Each branch also gets its own Google Maps listing.
This is mineWe haven't worked for a bank, an insurer or an NBFC yet. The nearest work is for professional firms whose advertising is also tightly ruled: Fox & Mandal, a law firm, and Affluence Advisory. A bank brief here would start from the RBI, IRDAI or SEBI rule that applies, and then the plan.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL Group| Step | What we do | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Strategy | Pick products and regions to push. Write a provable reason to choose you. Tie the budget to funded accounts. | Vague positioning leaks money into leads that never qualify. |
| Advertising (mainline) | TV and regional newspapers build trust. Radio and outdoor cover branch towns. PR gets leadership views into the news. | People handing over savings want a brand that feels stable. |
| Digital | Search and Meta ads with compliant copy. Calculators and explainers for SEO (search engine optimisation) and AI search. Application fixes and WhatsApp follow-up. | Most customers research online before they apply, even at a branch. |
| BTL (below the line) and activation | Branch launches, financial-literacy camps and sessions in offices and housing societies. Agent and distributor meets come with branded material. | First-time customers and small towns still decide face to face. |
Leads go to your CRM (software that tracks every lead) or loan system. Approved and funded outcomes return to Google Ads and Meta, using only consented data.
We don't publish a price list. A 30-minute strategist call comes first, then a one-page plan. Media is billed at actuals, with every rate shown first.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Always-on digital, content, review and funnel reporting; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Campaign fee | A product launch, a new region or a festive burst; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Media at actuals | TV, newspaper, radio, outdoor and digital ad spend, billed as quoted |
To compare quotes fairly, check that media, content and compliance review each get a line of their own.
Every client and project is different. The cost depends on the effort it takes, so we price after the first call.

Real business problems, from sales to back office, each with a plain AI fix. A person stays in charge of every step.
Some customers take complaints straight to the RBI Ombudsman before telling the bank or NBFC, so the lender loses the first chance to fix them.
The AI fix A WhatsApp or app assistant collects full complaint details, sorts them by type and tracks the due date. The grievance officer reviews, decides and signs every reply.

Claims make up a large part of the insurance grievances policyholders register, so clear answers on papers needed and claim status matter.

More than half of life insurers' premium comes from renewals, so a missed renewal matters and every policyholder needs a timely reminder.

India's mutual funds managed ₹87.08 lakh crore at the end of August 2026. Insurance premiums were 3.7% of GDP in 2024-25, with life at 2.7% and non-life at 1%. Insurers managed ₹74.44 lakh crore of assets on 31 March 2025.

Our view: a buyer asks family or a trusted agent, and searches Google and YouTube. Then they compare charges and start online or at a branch. SEBI's 2025 survey found 63% of households know a market product, but only 9.5% invest. Non-investors cite complexity (74%), fear of loss (73%) and trust (51%).

In their words: "Is my money safe? Is this right for me? Can I start small?" SEBI's survey says non-investors are most moved by easy processes (73%) and education (62%). Few say it aloud, but they expect to see the charges before they sign. They also expect a real person when something goes wrong.

Banks and NBFCs (non-bank lenders) sell through branches, field agents and apps. Insurers sell through agents, brokers, banks and their own sites. Fund houses sell through distributors. Agents and distributors work like dealers, so the dealer problem of building materials applies. A fintech app sits on a regulated partner. More in our business models guide.

You can do much yourself. Keep one list of approved claims and disclaimers. Answer complaints fast in your own channel. Follow every lead to a funded account. Credit rules, legal papers and compliance sign-off are not ours. We take the content, ads, tracking and camps, or review your funnel in a marketing audit.
First, pick products and regions and tie the budget to funded accounts. Vague positioning leaks money into leads that never qualify. Second, TV and regional press for trust. Third, compliant search and Meta ads and calculators, because most buyers research online first. Fourth, branch camps and agent meets, because first-time customers still decide face to face. Saurav Agarwal, our Founder and CEO, takes the strategy call, the business review and the budget logic.
Our view: a borrower hears about a loan from a branch, a local agent or a dealer. Trust and speed decide. Campaigns work well around each branch's catchment. One rule: from 1 January 2027, an NBFC ad must be clear and factual. This is in the Reserve Bank of India's directions of 15 June 2026. The ad must show the interest rate and other charges. Promotional messages go only to customers who gave explicit consent. WhatsApp follow-up within that consent works well. Credit decisions and collections are not ours.
Source: RBI directions on NBFC business conduct, 2026 (RBI/2026-27/123), 15 June 2026, paragraphs 101K and 101L
Our view: investors reach mutual funds through distributors or apps, and most begin with a small monthly plan. SEBI's 2025 investor survey says 9.5% of households have invested. Of those who have not, 74% cite complexity or missing information. One rule is in the SEBI Mutual Funds Regulations, 2026. Every fund ad needs the standard warning, word for word, and testimonials and rankings are barred. Plain investor education and distributor meets work well. Fund choice and advice are not ours.
Source: SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 2026, Fifth Schedule, amended to 7 July 2026. SEBI, Investor Survey 2025, main report, January 2026
First step: we would build one approved-claims library with your compliance team. It holds rates, charges, risk lines and words never to use. We would measure how many posts clear on the first review and how many days a post takes to be approved. One rule comes from a SEBI circular of 22 October 2024. It bars regulated firms and their agents from working with anyone who gives investment advice without SEBI permission. The same bar covers anyone who claims returns. Investor education is allowed if it stays clear of both. Compliance sign-off and legal advice are not ours.
Source: SEBI, circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2024/143, 22 October 2024
First step: we would agree with your sales head what a good lead is. It is a person who agreed to be contacted, lives where you sell and wants a product you offer. We would measure cost for each funded account or issued policy, not each form. One rule: the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, 2025 need a separate consent notice. It must be clear and state the exact purpose. People can withdraw consent at any time. The Rules phase in over 18 months from November 2025. Credit checks and compliance sign-off are not ours.

Useful before you start. Open it when you need it.
Each regulator has its own rules. Your compliance team joins us at the first brief.
Lenders (RBI). RBI's Digital Lending Directions, 2025, replaced the 2022 guidelines. Every digital loan needs a Key Fact Statement showing the annual percentage rate (APR), the full yearly cost.
Investments (SEBI). Mutual funds, brokers and advisers follow SEBI's ad codes: risk disclaimers, no assured returns. Its 2024 rules also bar tie-ups with unregistered people who give advice or claim returns.
Insurance (IRDAI). IRDAI's 2024 policyholder-protection regulations set advertising rules. Ads must be fair, hide no exclusions and show the insurer's registered name. A broker's ad needs the insurer's written approval.
Every brand (ASCI and CCPA). ASCI, the advertising watchdog, wants proven claims and labelled paid content. The consumer protection authority (CCPA) issued rules against misleading ads in 2022.
Data and outreach. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 needs clear consent before marketing use. Calls and SMS use registered headers and templates under rules from TRAI, the telecom regulator.
Your compliance team signs off every piece. General guidance, not legal advice.
One number. AMFI, the mutual fund industry body, counts 28.35 crore folios (accounts with one fund house). It also counts 10.02 crore active SIP accounts (monthly investment plans). Source: AMFI Monthly Note, August 2026.
Collections teams must chase overdue EMIs without harassment. RBI has penalised a lender for failing to stop its recovery agents from harassing or intimidating customers.
The AI fix SMS and WhatsApp reminders in the customer's language, with a payment link. Staff handle calls, hardship and disputes, following RBI's Fair Practices Code. The tool never sends threats.

Lenders must send several advance reminders, one by letter, before a customer's KYC update is due, and chasing a large customer base is heavy work.
The AI fix WhatsApp and SMS reminders with an upload link, and document AI that flags blurry images or mismatched names. Staff verify every update; compliance owns risk ratings and exceptions.

Hundreds of loan requests reach a large NBFC daily, and staff check papers by hand, so only a limited number are processed each day.

What can't be measured can't be achieved.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
Brands and people are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.
The services that go with this work, the segments we cover and nearby industries.
It depends on the mix. One digital product costs far less than a national TV and print launch. Media is billed at actuals. We don't publish a price list; a written quote follows within 2 working days of the first call.
Within each regulator's rules. RBI guides lenders and IRDAI sets insurers' ad rules. SEBI covers funds, brokers and advisers, and ASCI's code applies to all. Claims must be provable and charges clear. No ad may promise guaranteed returns. Your compliance team joins us at the first brief.
Carefully. SEBI's 2024 rules bar regulated firms and their agents from working with unregistered people. That covers anyone who gives investment advice or claims returns. ASCI also expects advice-giving creators to be registered and say so. Our influencer marketing team vets every creator first.
Often, yes. People taking a loan or investing savings want a brand that feels solid. Mass media and PR still deliver that. Regional-language radio and newspapers reach branch towns. Digital then turns familiarity into applications. That is how we plan mainline advertising.
By agreeing what a good customer looks like first: eligibility, ticket size, location and product fit. Then we add qualifying questions before the form. We target only areas your branches serve, and review weekly with your credit team. Approved and funded outcomes then return to Google Ads and Meta, using only consented data.
Search and social ads for loan, policy and fund buyers. Calculators and explainers that rank on Google and get quoted in AI answers. We fix the application steps through conversion rate optimisation. Then comes WhatsApp follow-up. All of it is judged on funded accounts and issued policies.
No agency can honestly claim to be the best. Ask each one, us included: has it worked inside RBI, SEBI or IRDAI rules? Can it show approvals, not just leads? Will the seniors you meet do the work? Does its quote show compliance time?
Yes. Customers must see who the lender or insurer is. The regulated partner stays responsible for what is said about its products. We build that disclosure into every ad and page. We also build trust for a young brand and turn installs into active users. Our fintech page goes deeper.
