What we believe
We look at your business first. Marketing comes second.
Locations · South India · Trivandrum
A Kovalam stay needs bookings and a Technopark firm needs calls from company buyers, so one Trivandrum plan cannot serve both. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, papers and radio for each. Each month you see which spend brought enquiries.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) packs an IT park, a space centre and the Vizhinjam port into one city, so its buyers do not move as one crowd. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, social media, papers and radio for Technopark firms, startups, Kovalam stays and port-linked businesses.
Each month we show you which spend brought enquiries.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Most of the work runs online in hybrid mode. We speak every day and meet you in the city at least once every three months.
The district's own website calls Thiruvananthapuram Kerala's southernmost district and the state capital. It also calls the city a major information technology hub. The district has 5 municipalities and 73 panchayats (village councils), and a 78 km coast on the Arabian Sea. So your buyer may be a manager at Technopark, a founder in a startup, or the owner of a guest house near Kovalam.
Buyers type Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram, and your pages must answer to both.
02Company buyers read the services page first, in an IT park full of firms.
03High Court orders cover boards here, so every hoarding is checked before it goes up.
We look at your business first. Marketing comes second.
Three local facts shape a sensible first budget.
1. Buyers sit in a few big campuses. Technopark, the state IT park, was set up in 1990 and began work in 1994 with 2 companies and 155 employees. Its own site lists 540 companies and 84,000+ employees, and 768.63 acres as of 2026. The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) calls itself the state's lead agency for entrepreneurship. Its head office is inside Technopark, and it claims 8000+ registered startups. ISRO, India's space agency, calls the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in the city its lead centre for launch vehicle technology. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) at Valiamala was set up in 2007. Most of these are company and institution buyers. Our IT services page shows what we check first for them.
More on the port and the airport, the languages and the state online, with sources.
2. A port that began direct trade in August 2026, and an airport where most passengers fly abroad. The official Vizhinjam International Seaport site says commercial operations began in 2024 and direct export-import (EXIM) operations in August 2026. It calls the port a transshipment hub, where cargo moves from one ship to another, close to the East-West shipping route. Thiruvananthapuram airport handled 46,94,206 passengers in 2025-26 (April to March), down 4.0% from 48,91,009. Of these, 24,90,985 flew international routes, up 6.3%. That is more than half. Firms that serve the port need a plain English website with a quote form first. Our logistics page shows the rest.
3. Malayalam at home, and a state well connected online. The district's website names Malayalam as the main language of the district. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 98.16 internet subscribers per 100 people in Kerala in March 2026, against 76.59 for India. That is a state figure, not the city alone. So reach is rarely the problem. The question is which language, on which screen. The city's own festival, Attukal Pongala, is in the table below.
Boards and banners. In March 2025 the Kerala High Court said unauthorised boards, banners, hoardings, flags and festoons are illegal, with a fine of Rs 5,000 per board. It made removal the personal duty of local body secretaries and allowed action against the advertising agencies involved.
Do your buyers sit in Technopark, along the coast or across Kerala? Tell us who buys, and we'll say where we would start. Tell us who buys
Trivandrum has four private FM stations and five papers in Malayalam and English. The Kerala High Court says fines for illegal boards have hardly been collected, so expect stricter checks. Start with one radio station and a phone number just for it, then count the calls.
| What | In Trivandrum | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | The government's list of 30 March 2026 shows four private FM stations for the city, at 92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz. | Start with one station and one tracked phone number, then compare the calls with the airtime cost. |
| Akashvani | The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) card of 1 June 2017 lists the Trivandrum primary channel at 1161 kHz. A 10-second spot costs Rs 500 or Rs 300, by programme type. Vividh Bharati, 101.9 MHz, has three rates, from Rs 390 down to Rs 280, by time of day. These are the station's 2017 rates, not ours. | Use 2017 as a guide and ask for today's card before you budget. |
| Malayalam and English dailies | The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) lists Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi and Deshabhimani in Malayalam, and The Hindu and The Times of India in English, with Trivandrum editions. A paper missing from the list may still print here. | Pick the paper by the buyer: Malayalam for families and shops, English for company buyers and recruiters. |
| Illegal boards | The Kerala High Court's orders cover the whole state. In August 2026 it said only a negligible amount of its fines for illegal boards had been collected. | Expect stricter checks. Change is the only constant, so we book only sites with written permission. The FAQ has the details. |
| Technopark, KSUM and the space campuses | KSUM has its head office inside Technopark. IIST is at Valiamala, and VSSC is in the city too. | A talk, stall or demo at a campus can start the conversation, if the campus allows it. Back it with search. |
| Kovalam | Kerala Tourism says Kovalam is 16 km from the city, with three crescent-shaped beaches. It lists scuba diving, parasailing, catamaran cruises and Ayurvedic massages. | Give each activity its own page and a one-tap booking button. See our travel and tourism page. |
| Attukal Pongala | Held every year in February or March, says Kerala Tourism. Women cook a sweet dish in earthen pots, and the cooking area spreads about 7 km around the Attukal temple. Kerala Tourism says the festival has been recognised in the Guinness World Records. The 2026 festival fell in February or March. | Plan about two months before the 2027 dates. It is a temple festival, so keep messages respectful. |
| Service: Advertising | Four FM stations, two Akashvani channels, five papers on the ABC list, and state court orders against illegal boards. | We match each medium to your buyer, test one for a month and keep what brings enquiries. Outdoor starts with a written permission. |
| Service: SEO | Technopark firms and KSUM startups compete for the same buyers on Google, and Kovalam stays are searched by visitors from far away. | SEO (search engine optimisation: showing up on Google without paying for each click) starts with one page for each service, stay or activity. |
| Service: Website design and development | Product pages for startups, quote pages for firms around the port, and booking pages for stays near Kovalam. | Pages that open fast on a phone, with call and WhatsApp buttons we test every month. |
Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. Technopark and KSUM give their own counts. The service rows are our plan, not a promise of results.
We do not publish a price list. We talk first, then write down what we would do for Thiruvananthapuram and price each line. Media, permissions and printing are billed at actual cost.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Ongoing work, reviewed each month; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Fixed project | A new website (usually 4 to 6 weeks), or one festival-season campaign; timeline confirmed in the quote |
Ask for the free plan: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists and a one-page plan. We take on a limited number, and tell you honestly if yours is a fit.
Not sure where to start: search, your Google listing or a board? Tell us what you sell, and we'll think it through with you. Talk it through
We have worked with clients since 2015. A Trivandrum account is served online first, so distance does not matter, and we visit to meet you.
Meeting you. We start on a 30-minute video call with one of our strategists. After that we speak every day and visit Thiruvananthapuram at least once every three months, at your Technopark office, Kovalam resort or city shop. When a job needs it, a team member works from your office or plant.
How we plan and test, our online work, boards and events, languages, and what changes the cost.
We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck. We start with your last quarter: which enquiries came in, from where, at what cost for each. For a Kovalam stay that means bookings. For a Technopark firm it means calls from company buyers. Then we run one small test, read it, and put more money only behind what worked. Our digital marketing and advertising are planned with BTL (below the line: stalls, events and signs). So a search ad, a paper insert and a stall say the same thing.
Online work and media. Search, ads, websites and social pages run online, and the ad accounts stay in your company's name. We book Malayalam and English papers, FM and Akashvani, and show every rate before you say yes.
Boards, stalls and events. These are delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy. In Kerala we ask to see a site's written permission before it is booked. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Languages. Through our language partners we create content in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more. Malayalam is the main language of the district. If your buyers need it, tell us early and we confirm whether a partner can take it on. For guests and buyers from abroad, the partners can also write French, Japanese and more.
What changes the cost:
Who buys from you. Companies far away, local families and visitors to Kovalam need different pages and media.
Where you sell. The city, the wider district with its 5 municipalities, or more of Kerala.
Language. Each extra language version is its own line, and a partner confirms Malayalam first.
Media and boards. Each paper, FM station and Akashvani channel prices its own space. A permitted site, printing and mounting are separate lines.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India, and our in-house team of 65+ people plans your account. Most of the work runs online in hybrid mode, and you hear from us every day. We come to the city at least once every three months. When a job needs it, one of us works from your office or plant.
We will not call ourselves that, and no agency can judge itself. Ask each one, us included, for work in a business like yours, such as an IT firm, a startup or a Kovalam stay. Then ask who owns the ad accounts and whose name is on any board permission.
On 4 October 2026 we found no published city rule for hoardings, so ask the city corporation for written permission for each site. The Kerala High Court's March 2025 orders cover the whole state: unauthorised boards and banners are illegal, with a fine of Rs 5,000 per board. General guidance, not legal advice.
Technopark lists 540 companies and KSUM claims 8000+ registered startups, so a page that says only IT services is lost among many. Write one page for each thing you sell, for one kind of buyer. Then add LinkedIn lead generation for company buyers.
Start with your Google listing, then add a page for each room, treatment or activity, such as a catamaran cruise, with a WhatsApp button. Kerala Tourism puts Kovalam 16 km from the city, so say plainly how far you are from the beach and the city. For guests from abroad, our language partners can write pages in their language.
Attukal Pongala is held every year in February or March. Kerala Tourism says the main ceremony is on the Pooram star at full moon. Check the date for your year and work back about two months. Fix shop offers, hotel pages and paper slots early. Keep every message respectful, as it is a temple festival.
