Pay for clicksthat become customers.

A click is not a lead, and cheap clicks can still cost you money. PromotEdge is a Google Ads agency that runs Search, Performance Max, Shopping and YouTube ads for Indian companies.

We set up tracking before we spend, and judge every rupee on cost per qualified lead, not clicks.

PPC means pay per click: you pay Google only when someone clicks. We judge cost per lead (CPL), the average price of one enquiry, and how many your sales team can close. Google Ads sits inside our performance marketing plan. See how it works for industrial companies and D2C brands.

Google Ads captures demand; it doesn't create it. If buyers don't yet know your product exists, Meta Ads, YouTube or awareness advertising usually does the job better. Ads bring enquiries in days but stop when the budget stops. SEO takes months, then keeps bringing them.

/ 02 What's included

Google Ads,set up and run.

Most accounts need two or three campaign types, not all of them. We start with tracking and Search, then add the rest when the numbers justify it.

01

Account audit

Structure, search terms, wasted spend, tracking, landing pages and competitors' ads reviewed, with quick wins in week one. Yours to keep, even if you don't hire us.

02

Conversion tracking

GA4, Google Tag Manager, call and WhatsApp click tracking, enhanced conversions and offline imports from your CRM.

03

Search campaigns

Ads on the searches buyers use, with tight keyword themes, negative keywords and call, lead-form and location assets. Brand campaigns defend your name; Microsoft Advertising (Bing) suits B2B desktop audiences.

04

Performance Max

For ecommerce with steady conversions: clean data, full creative sets, audience signals and brand exclusions. Judged on ROAS (sales per ₹1 of ads) and margin.

05

Shopping and Merchant Center

Product feeds with clear titles, correct prices and stock, GTINs and custom labels, so you can bid by margin and judge ROAS by product group.

06

YouTube ads

Skippable, bumper and Shorts ads built for the first five seconds, since a cut-down TV film rarely works. Search lift is checked afterwards.

07

Demand Gen and remarketing

Remarketing means showing ads again to people who visited but didn't enquire, with a cap on how often and no offers to people who already bought.

08

Landing pages and testing

Fast, focused pages with one clear next step, built or fixed with our CRO and web teams. Ad and page tests every fortnight, one change per test.

/ 03 Problems we fix

Where Google Ads budgetsleak.

“We get leads, but our sales team says they're junk.”

The account usually bids for form fills, not buyers. We add qualifying questions, import which leads your team qualified, and bid for more like those. Junk usually falls within weeks.

“Our cost per click goes up every quarter, and our margin can't carry it.”

Weak ad relevance and wide match types often matter more than competition. Tighter themes, better ads and pages lower cost per lead. We also work back from your margin to the most you can pay per sale.

“We don't know which keywords actually bring sales.”

We read the search terms report (the exact words people typed before clicking), and tie conversions to calls, WhatsApp chats and CRM outcomes.

“Performance Max spends the budget, and we can't see where.”

It gives less control by design. It works with clean conversion data, enough headlines, images and videos, and brand exclusions. If it can't be fed, we pause it and move the money to Search.

“We stopped ads because they didn't work.”

Often the landing page was the problem. A slow page or a nine-field form can halve your enquiries. We check the page first, and restart small with the fixes in place.

“Calls and WhatsApp messages from the ads are not written down anywhere.”

Then nobody knows which enquiry was followed up, and Google never hears which became sales. We set up a CRM (software where every enquiry is kept), reminders and a rule for who replies within the hour. We send offline sales back to Google.

“We advertise in a regulated category.”

Rules are built in from day one. Financial services advertisers in India must complete Google's advertiser verification. Healthcare ads follow Google's healthcare policies. Real estate pages show the RERA number (registration with the real-estate regulator).

/ 04 How we work

From auditto first leads.

We start with logic and your numbers, not ideas we happen to like. Brief to first enquiries usually takes two to three weeks, mostly on tracking and structure. We'll tell you to stop spending where it doesn't pay back, even if the account gets smaller.

  1. 01

    Audit (week 1)

Account, search terms, wasted spend, tracking, landing pages and competitors' bids reviewed, with quick wins in writing. We also check your sales team replies fast: leads that wait two days for a callback sink any campaign.

  2. 02

Fix tracking (weeks 1 and 2)

Conversions for forms, calls and WhatsApp set up or repaired, and CRM outcomes connected, before we change a single bid.

  3. 03

    Rebuild (weeks 2 and 3)

Campaigns organised by intent, ad groups by tight themes, new ads written, and a bidding strategy chosen for each campaign's job.

  4. 04

Launch and optimise (weeks 3 on)

Budgets start where intent is highest. Search terms are checked several times a week; money moves to qualified leads. What converts is shared with our SEO team.

  5. 05

    Report (every month)

Spend, qualified leads, cost per qualified lead, what we cut and test, and what we expect next month.

  6. 06

    Step back (every quarter)

New campaign types, new cities, landing page rebuilds, and an honest view on whether the budget should grow, hold or shrink.

More on this

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A D2C brand leans on Shopping and Performance Max, judged on ROAS. A dealer-led maker (see industrial manufacturing) runs Search for buyers and routes each enquiry to the right dealer. A multi-outlet franchise uses location and call assets. A services firm lives on Search and lead forms, judged on qualified leads.

  1. Fix tracking before any bid. Automated bidding learns from the conversions you give it. Wrong signals teach it the wrong job. Forms, calls and WhatsApp clicks counted before spend rises.
  2. Start with Search on your best searches. People who search have already shown intent, so you learn cost per lead quickly. First enquiries within days of going live.
  3. Add Performance Max, Shopping or YouTube one at a time. Each type needs data to learn. Spreading a small budget thin teaches none of them. One new campaign type only when the numbers justify it.
  4. Send back which leads your team qualified. Google then bids for buyers, not form fills. Cost per qualified lead in the report, not cost per click.
  5. Read the search terms report often. Cutting searches that never convert is the quickest saving. A short note each month on what we cut and why.

Go deeper: the rules and the market

Who sets the rules

ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India) is a voluntary self-regulatory body. It handles consumer complaints, publishes outcomes and keeps a list of non-compliant ads. It also lists 2026 guidelines on labelling synthetically generated content in advertising. Check your ads against its code before they go live.

Language of the buyer

In the Kantar and IAMAI Internet in India report, 57% of users prefer content in regional languages. So we test ads in Hindi or the local language, not English alone.

AI in Google Ads: today and next

Today: Performance Max and AI Max

Performance Max runs from one campaign across YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail and Maps. You give it goals, text, images, video and audience signals, and keep brand exclusions and negative keywords. Google says AI Max for Search adds smarter search-term matching, text customisation and final URL expansion, and that advertisers typically see 14% more conversions or conversion value at a similar CPA or ROAS, from its own 2025 data. We treat that as a test to run on your account, not a promise.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of Google Ads.

You set the media budget; we never decide it for you. The maths: ₹1 lakh in a month gets 200 enquiries, so each lead costs ₹500. If your team qualifies 40 and closes 8, each sale costs ₹12,500. That last number is the one we manage.

You pay two bills: Google for the clicks, at actuals, and us for running the account. Click costs vary by category, so we forecast cost per qualified lead before you spend.

What affects the cost

  • Your category's click prices: insurance, loans, legal and B2B software cost far more per click than local consumer searches
  • Campaign types and products we run
  • Monthly ad spend, which sets how much testing is needed
  • Tracking and CRM work at the start
  • Landing pages: fixing or building
  • Cities and regions targeted

How we quote

  1. We ask about your goal, your sales process and what a lead is worth to you.
  2. We look at your account, tracking and landing pages, or at your market if you are starting fresh.
  3. We send a written list of what we will do and a cost-per-qualified-lead forecast for your category.
  4. We send the quote within 2 working days, with our management fee on its own line, apart from the ad spend. You approve both before launch.

What you get in the quote

  • Campaign types, cities and regions, and tracking for forms, calls and WhatsApp
  • Landing page fixes or builds, if quoted
  • Weekly checks, monthly report, quarterly review
  • Our fee, apart from ad spend: fixed monthly, a percentage of spend, or set-up plus monthly

Ad spend goes from your account straight to Google, at actuals. Google adds GST to its bill, and GST applies to our fee too. Our guide to YouTube ads cost in India shows how Google's auction prices media.

Straight answers.

  • Google Ads is Google's paid advertising system. You pick the searches you want to appear for and set a budget. Google runs a quick auction and shows the most relevant ads. You pay only when someone clicks, which is why it is called PPC (pay per click).

  • You pay Google for clicks and us for management. A local consumer search costs a few rupees; insurance, loans, legal or B2B software can cost hundreds. Google sets no minimum (Google Ads Help); the real minimum is enough spend for each campaign to collect data within weeks. We forecast cost per qualified lead and quote our fee separately.

  • A properly set-up Search campaign usually brings first enquiries within days of going live. The first month is mostly learning. Efficiency improves in months two and three, once automated bidding has a few weeks of clean data. We confirm the timeline in the quote.

  • Quality Score is Google's 1 to 10 rating of how useful your ad is for a keyword; a higher score usually means a lower price. To improve performance, start with tracking, not bids: count calls, WhatsApp chats and qualified leads, cut searches that never convert, and send each tight keyword group to a fast, matching page.

  • No, and no honest agency can. Results depend on your product, prices, competition, landing pages and platform changes. Be wary of any cost per lead promised before they see your account. We commit to the structure, testing and honest reporting.

  • Yes, and we recommend it. The ad account, Merchant Center, GA4 and Tag Manager should sit in your company's name, with us added as manager. Your data stays with you if you change agency, and a handover takes a day, not a rebuild.

  • Yes. We audit first and say whether the account needs restructuring or a clean rebuild. Old campaigns are paused, not deleted, so history stays useful. We can also co-manage, taking strategy and structure while your team handles daily changes. You keep ownership of the account throughout.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India and runs your account online, in touch daily. We meet you in your city at least every three months, and sit at your office or plant if needed. You get shared dashboards and a monthly report.
