Trichy,plants, temples and campuses
In Trichy, clicks alone cannot tell a plant supplier, an institute or a temple-side shop which spend paid. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, Tamil and English papers and radio for all three. We report enquiries, not just clicks.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Plants, temples and campuses. One city, three kinds of buyer.
Trichy (Tiruchirappalli) has plants, campuses and temple crowds, and each buys in its own way, so one plan for the whole city fits none of them. PromotEdge runs search, ads, websites, social media, newspaper and radio plans for engineering firms, institutes and businesses that serve pilgrims and travellers.
Then we check the work against enquiries and sales.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Most of the work runs online in hybrid mode. We speak with you every day and visit Trichy at least once every three months.
Purchase teams at big plants, such as the two listed by BHEL, the state-owned power-equipment maker, are one kind of buyer. Students and managers at IIM Tiruchirappalli, one of the Indian Institutes of Management, are another. Pilgrims who come to Srirangam, Rockfort and Samayapuram are the third.
We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck. First we read your last quarter: where enquiries came from and what each one cost. In Trichy that may mean quote forms for a parts maker, WhatsApp chats for a guesthouse and applications for an institute. Then we try one small thing, study the result and add money only where it paid off. Our digital marketing, advertising and BTL (below the line: stalls, events and signs) are planned together.

02Website design & development
Tamil and English readers share one site, and each should feel it was written for them.
03Advertising
The Tamil must read naturally, and the spot must sit where people walk, wait or queue.
Our beliefOur job is to impress your customers, not you.
A plant town, a temple town and a campus town.
Three facts decide where a Trichy rupee goes first: the big plants, the temple crowds and the campuses. The first is here; two more are in the fold below.
1. Heavy industry and defence work sit around the city. BHEL's units map lists two plants here: the High Pressure Boiler Plant and a steel tube plant. The High Energy Projectile Factory, one of 12 units of Munitions India Limited, makes anti-tank rounds and tungsten-alloy parts. It sits about 21 km from Trichy railway station. Trichy is also one of five nodes of the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor, which targets aerospace and defence making. If you supply parts to plants like these, engineers find you by searching for the part, the process and the standard. See our industrial manufacturing page.
The district in numbers, then the temple city and its airport, and the students and the autumn peak.
The Trichy market in depth
The district's own website gives 2,722,290 people in the 2011 Census. It lists one corporation, five municipalities, 14 town panchayats (small-town councils) and 507 villages. It names ten nearby districts, from Salem and Karur to Madurai and Pudukkottai. So a Trichy firm often sells well beyond the city.
2. A temple city, and an airport where most passengers fly abroad. The district website says the Srirangam Ranganathaswamy temple stands on an islet between the Cauvery and Coleroon rivers. The site covers 156 acres and has 21 gopurams (gateway towers). The temple's own site puts its main tower at 236 feet. The district calls Samayapuram a very famous pilgrimage centre for the goddess Mariamman. It says Rockfort rises 275 feet, with 437 steps cut into the rock. The airport is international and has a cargo terminal. It handled 22,21,024 passengers in 2025-26 (April to March), up 13.5%. Of these, 13,92,659 flew international routes, which is more than half. The city is also a Southern Railway division, with direct trains to Chennai, Ernakulam, Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. So guesthouses, taxi operators and shops near the temples can reach travellers on their phones before they arrive. See our travel and tourism page. Keep every message about the temples respectful.
3. Students, Tamil first, and an autumn peak. IIM Tiruchirappalli was set up in 2011 on a 175-acre campus. Its own site gives it a rank of 16th among management institutes in the 2025 NIRF, the government's yearly rank list. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 87.33 internet subscribers per 100 people in Tamil Nadu in March 2026, against 76.59 for India. That is a state figure, not the city's. The state holiday list puts Ayudha Pooja on 19 October 2026 and Deepavali on 8 November 2026. Vaikunta Ekadasi, the Srirangam festival, comes every year in December or January.
Distances visitors ask about. The district website puts Srirangam temple 12 km from the Central Bus Stand and 5 km from Chathiram. It puts Jambukeswarar temple 2 km east of Srirangam. Use these in your Google listing and on your site.

What reaches people here, and what the rules say.
Trichy has three private FM stations and two papers, The Hindu and Daily Thanthi. Put Tamil first on a new shop board, and know that reported state rules ban hoardings at places of worship. Start with one station and give it its own phone number.

| What | In Trichy | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | The government's list of 30 March 2026 shows three private FM channels here, at 93.5, 95.0 and 106.4 MHz. | With only three stations, try one with its own phone number. |
| Akashvani (All India Radio) | The CBC (Central Bureau of Communication) card of 1 June 2017 lists the Primary Channel at 936 kHz at Rs 500 and Rs 300 for a 10-second spot. FM Rainbow at 102.1 MHz is Rs 440, Rs 330 and Rs 220. Each channel has several rates, by category, and all are 2017 rates, not ours. | Ask the station for its current card. |
| Papers | The Hindu, in English, is a member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) with a Trichy edition. The Tamil daily Daily Thanthi lists one on its own site. | Daily Thanthi suits families and shops here, and The Hindu suits company buyers. |
| Tamil on boards | The Tiruchirappalli Collectorate has an Assistant Director of Tamil Development. This officer inspects government offices for Tamil on name boards. In February 2024 the state asked traders to switch to Tamil boards, and committees were formed in all districts to check shops. | Make Tamil the biggest and first line on any new shop board in the city. |
| Hoarding rules | Tamil Nadu's 2023 urban local body rules, as a trade site reported them, set three-year licences and a 10 m height limit. They also ban hoardings at places of worship and historical monuments. | Srirangam, Rockfort and Samayapuram are temples, so ask the corporation in writing before you plan a site near any of them. |
| District Industries Centre | The office on Collector Office Road runs UYEGP, NEEDS and PMEGP, which are state and central loan-subsidy schemes for new businesses. | A new firm applying for them needs a name, a logo and a website, which we can plan as one first project. |
| Service: Advertising | Three private FM channels, two Akashvani channels, The Hindu, Daily Thanthi and a state rulebook for boards. | Try one of these for a month, and for outdoor get written permission first. |
| Service: SEO | Plant buyers search by part, students by course, visitors by stay. | SEO (search engine optimisation: showing up on Google without paid clicks) starts with one page each, in English and Tamil. |
| Service: Website design and development | New firms, parts suppliers and guesthouses all need a quote form or a booking button. | Quick pages on phones, with call and WhatsApp buttons we test monthly. |
Each row names its source, checked on 4 October 2026, and the service rows show our plan, not a promised result.
What shapes the costof marketing in Trichy.
There is no price list on our site. After a first call we write the scope and price every line, passing media owners' and authorities' charges on as they are.
What affects the cost
- Who buys from you. Plant buyers, students and temple visitors need different media.
- Where you sell. The city, the district or its ten nearby districts.
- Language and boards. Tamil and English versions are separate lines, and permission near temples, mounting, printing and travel are billed apart.
How we quote
- A video call about your buyers and last quarter's enquiries.
- A written quote within 2 working days of that first call, with media, permissions and travel on their own lines, and nothing booked before your yes.
What you get in the quote
- What we will do for Trichy, and what we leave out
- Written permission checks for every board or stall
- Paper and radio rates at the owner's figure
How it is billed
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Work run each month, with a review call; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Fixed project | A website (usually 4 to 6 weeks), or one festival campaign; timeline confirmed in the quote |

How we work in Trichy
Online work and media. Your search, ad, website and social work runs online, in ad accounts opened in your company's name. Our in-house team of 65+ people plans it, and you see every media rate before you say yes.
Boards, stalls and events. These are delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy. For a board near a temple or monument, we ask to see written permission first. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Languages. Through our language partners we create content in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more. For Trichy's shops and families we start with Tamil, and our team plans and checks each version.
Boards and the High Court. In August 2025 the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court ordered illegal hoardings and flex boards removed from roads and footpaths. We check written permission before any board goes up.

No agency can judge itself, and we will not try. Ask each one, us included, to show work for a business like yours. Also ask whose name the ad accounts will be in, who picks up your calls each week, and who writes and checks your Tamil copy.
-
Write one page for each part family, with the material, your checks, your certificates and a quote form. BHEL lists two plants in the city, and a Munitions India factory is about 21 km from the railway station. Then add LinkedIn lead generation to reach the engineers who recommend suppliers.

Our search on 4 October 2026 found no hoarding rule made by the Trichy corporation, so ask it for written permission for every site. The state's 2023 rules, as a trade site reported them, cap height at 10 m and bar hoardings at places of worship and historical monuments. General guidance, not legal advice.
-
Fix your Google listing first: name, address, phone number, photos and opening times. Then tell visitors how far you are from the temples, using the distances in the fold above. Give each room or tour its own page, with a WhatsApp button. Keep every word and photo about the temples respectful.

Tamil is the official language of Tamil Nadu, so for shops and families start with Tamil and test it against English. Plant and campus buyers often work in English. Our language partners write the Tamil and our team checks it. If you need another language, tell us early.
