Signage boards and retail branding for dealers, retailers and brands with many outlets. A dealer board is the longest-running ad you own, so check it outlet by outlet.
For a brand sold through dealers, the shop board is the media that never switches off. PromotEdge, a marketing company, makes glow, LED, ACP and non-lit boards and retail branding for outlets across India, installed with photo proof.
A row of matching dealer boards across a district does the work of a hoarding campaign, every day, for years. Inside the shop, a shelf strip can decide a purchase in its last few seconds. Walls, counters and windows are on our in-store branding page.
Each outlet is measured before design, installed with time-stamped, geo-tagged photographs and audited afterwards. You get a list you can check, not a total. Want us to plan your rollout? Ask for a free signage plan.

/ 03 Common hurdles
What usually gets in the way,and the way through.
“We paid for 300 dealer boards. How many actually went up?”
Every outlet gets before-and-after photographs with time, date and location, the retailer's sign-off and an outlet code, as a list you can check. A simple tracker gives each board an owner and a reminder.
“The glow sign looks fine in daylight and half-dark at night.”
Every lit board is checked after dark at installation, and audits include night photographs. Dead LED modules and failed power supplies are logged and fixed.
“Every dealer's board is a different size and a different shade of our colour.”
One master design is adapted to each frontage, with brand colours matched across flex, vinyl and acrylic, and proofs approved before the full run.
“The municipal inspector fined our dealer for the new board.”
Rules on size, projection and lighting differ by city. We check local rules and fees before installation, so the dealer knows what applies.
“Our POSM never reached the shops, and the boards faded within a year.”
POSM is packed outlet by outlet and placed with a photo. Material is chosen for the site, and we tell you the expected life before you buy.
“We don't know if branding sold anything.”
We compare sell-out in branded outlets with similar unbranded ones over the same period, and track visibility through audits.
“We changed our logo, but half our dealer boards still show the old one.”
We make a changeover list outlet by outlet. New boards go up in the order you choose, and every old board is photographed when it comes down.

/ 04 How we work
From outlet listto audited installation.
We can't do magic alone: outlet lists, retailer contacts and approvals from your side set the pace. A one-city rollout of a few dozen outlets takes four to six weeks from approved design; several states take longer. Not sure which outlets come first? Talk to us.
01
Select outlets
Which outlets get what, based on sales, potential, location and the retailer's willingness.
02
Recce and measure
Each outlet visited, photographed and measured: frontage, existing boards, power points, landlord rules and the retailer's written OK.
03
Design and adapt
One master design adapted to every size, with outlet names, phone numbers and local-language text checked before print.
04
Sample and produce
A sample board approved first, then boards, screens, POSM and fixtures made to specification and packed outlet by outlet.
05
Install route by route
Teams scheduled by route, old boards removed, lit boards checked after dark, before-and-after photographs of every outlet.
06
Audit and measure
Periodic audits of condition and lighting, repairs logged and closed, and sell-out in branded outlets against comparable unbranded ones.
Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.
We recce every outlet. Size, power points and landlord rules decide what board fits. A recce sheet per outlet.
Our creative designer, Sourav Majumder, prepares the print-ready artwork. Outlet names, phone numbers and local-language text must fit each frontage. A proof for each board size.
We approve a sample board first. Colour and finish look different at full size. A sample on site.
We install route by route. Teams lose days criss-crossing a city. Photographs with time and place.
We check lit boards after dark. A board that works in daylight can fail at night. Night photographs.
We audit and repair. A dead module is invisible to head office. Repairs logged and closed.
We compare sell-out. So you learn whether the board paid back. Branded against unbranded outlets.

Brands that gave their outlets a look of their own
Maruti Suzuki launched Nexa on 23 July 2015 as a premium retail format. By July 2020 it had over 370 showrooms in more than 200 cities, as Autocar Professional reported. Nykaa had 187 physical stores in 68 cities on 31 March 2024, 42 added that year, per Retail4Growth.

Adobe Firefly can generate and expand images, so a dealer can see a mock-up of the board on a photo of the shop front before approving. Mock-ups help the conversation; sizes still come from the recce, not from an image.

Glow boards are priced mostly by size in square feet, then by frame, flex grade and LED modules; large rollouts cost less per board. A glow sign is a box with a printed flex face, lit evenly. LED signs light the letters themselves, look sharper at night and suit showrooms. Glow signs cost less and suit wide fascias.
It depends on the site and how long the board must last. ACP with 3D letters suits premium, long-term fascias. Flex costs least, fades first in strong sun and suits large dealer rollouts. Acrylic gives sharp lit letters; PVC board suits indoor panels and POSM. We tell you the expected life of each before you buy.
A signage board tells buyers where you are and what you sell. A signage company designs, makes and installs it. For a brand with many outlets the hard part is the rollout: each shop measured, one design matched to every size, each board proved with photographs.
Look at proof and materials before the rate per square foot. Ask what grade of flex, ACP and LED they use, whether installation and removal are included, how installation is proved, and who fixes a board that goes dark. Ask for a sample board before the full run.
In most Indian cities, yes. Municipal bodies set rules on size, projection, lighting and placement, and many charge a fee or advertisement tax that varies by city and sign size. Landlords and market associations may have rules too. We check each market first. General guidance, not legal advice.
Each outlet gets time-stamped, geo-tagged before-and-after photographs, the outlet's details and the retailer's sign-off. Lit boards are photographed after dark. Someone outside the installation team spot-audits a sample, and you get the full list outlet by outlet, so a missed shop is visible straight away.
Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Outlets are surveyed and boards installed route by route, and we meet you in your city at least every three months. Rollouts for pharmacy and diagnostic chains in healthcare follow the same route. Our in-house team does the work.
POSM (point-of-sale material) is the material itself: posters, danglers, wobblers, shelf strips and standees. Visual merchandising is how the product and that material are arranged so shoppers notice and pick your brand, set out in planograms and display rules. See visual merchandising.
