AI strategy consulting for mid-to-large businesses with sales teams, dealers and quotations to manage. Most AI spend fails because nobody decided which job the tool should do. Find the work worth automating first, then buy.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Companies buy AI tools first and look for a job later, so the tools sit unused and nobody owns the bill. PromotEdge is a marketing and growth agency, not an IT company.
We review your tools and daily work, show where AI helps and where it does not, and write a plan with one owner for each step.
Here is what we usually see: a tool bought for a demo, three subscriptions with no owner, and leads on one person's phone. AI consulting is the work you do before any of that is bought. It may end with no purchase at all, and that is a fair result if the problem was a missing rule, not a missing tool.
It suits mid-to-large businesses where work passes from hand to hand: several sales people, dealers or branches, and a CRM or accounts system already in use. It is the same looking a marketing audit does, applied to your tools and daily steps. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, so we can review your work wherever you are.
Consulting decides what to build first. Our AI automation and business systems page is where we build and run it, and the first full review is the AI process audit.
Every subscription in use, who uses it, what it costs and what it overlaps with.
One or two processes mapped end to end, such as enquiry to order, with the delays marked.
Repeated, rule-based, low-risk jobs: sorting, drafting, reminding, summarising.
Jobs needing judgement or sign-off: prices, credit, complaints, hiring. AI can sound sure and be wrong, so a person checks what a customer reads.
Where customer data lives, who can see it, and what never goes into an outside tool.
Leads and sales counted once and traced to source, before anything is automated on top.
A short list of steps, each with one owner, a date and a number that shows it worked.
Chosen steps can be built and run through our AI automation and CRM work, as a separate decision.
“We bought an AI tool and nobody uses it.”
Usually it was bought for a demo, not a daily job. We find the one job it could do in your week and check the tool suits it.
“We pay for three AI subscriptions and nobody owns them.”
Each tool gets a named owner, a job and a review date. A tool with no job is cancelled.
“Our leads sit in WhatsApp chats on one person's phone.”
We trace where enquiries arrive and plan how each one is recorded in one place the moment it comes. A phone chat is not a record.
“Follow-up depends on one person. When she is on leave, enquiries wait.”
We write follow-up as steps anyone can read: who calls, when, and what if there is no answer. Then we ask what software could remind or route.
“Every Monday someone builds the report by hand from three sheets.”
We list each number, where it comes from and who trusts it. Numbers that disagree are fixed at the source, then the report can be automated.
“We have a CRM full of data, and nobody opens it.”
A CRM (customer relationship management software) works when it saves the salesperson time. We check what sales needs and what can go. See marketing automation and CRM.
“We tried a chatbot and customers found it annoying.”
A chatbot annoys people when it cannot hand over to a human. We list the questions customers really ask and pick the few a bot should take.
“Staff paste customer data into free AI tools, and we cannot say what has gone out.”
We write a plain rule sheet: allowed tools, data that never goes in, and who checks output before a customer sees it. Your lawyer confirms contracts.
Want us to look at the three jobs that hurt most? Send them and we will tell you what we see. Book a 30-minute AI check
We confirm the timeline in the quote. The first step is a 30-minute AI check: a call with a strategist and a one-page plan on where AI would help your business first. It is for projects we think we can help. We take on a limited number and say honestly if it is not a fit. The fuller review is the AI process audit. The more your people are involved, the faster you see results.
The 30-minute AI check: what hurts, what you have tried and pay for, and what should differ in a year.
Which teams and one or two processes are in. Access is read-only where the platform allows, and we sign an NDA.
We interview the people who do the work, and read your sheets, CRM, reports and tool bills.
We send enquiries through your forms, calls and WhatsApp as a customer would, and time the reply.
Three piles: software does it, software helps and a person checks, or a person keeps it. Each has a reason.
A few steps in order, each with an owner, a date and a number. Quick fixes come first.
We present findings with evidence and you decide. The plan stands alone for your team or any capable firm.
Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.
Saurav Agarwal, our Founder & CEO, leads the strategy call and the business review, and Vinnay Agarwaal, our COO, plans the operations side.
A D2C brand usually starts with order and return questions. A dealer-led manufacturer starts with quotations and dealer follow-up. An education group starts with admission questions, and a services firm with proposals. The method is the same; the first job differs.
AI here means software that can read, write, sort or suggest. Generative AI writes text or makes images from an instruction. A workflow is the steps one piece of work goes through. Automation means software does a step by a rule you set.
Microsoft says Copilot shows only organisation data a user has at least view permission for, and that prompts and responses are not used to train its foundation models; it also tells users to review what Copilot drafts. Google says Gemini retrieves only content the user is allowed to see, on qualifying Workspace editions. So tidy permissions come first.

Our view: assistants will do more steps on their own, so owners, data rules and a human check matter more.
Not sure it is the right time to start? A short call will tell you. Talk to us
Contractors trust the machine their peers run on site more than any brochure.
02The person who pays for the cement is rarely the one who picks the brand.
03Procurement checks you out long before your sales team is invited to talk.
04A buyer's interest fades fast when the enquiry reaches the right showroom late.
05Enquiries are easy to buy, but the sale is won or lost at the site visit.
06Your ad works for a rival if your product is missing from the shelf.
We start with logic and your numbers, not with ideas we happen to like.
The review is a paid project, priced by scope: one team with one process and a group with five teams are different jobs. We quote within 2 working days.
Ask each firm who does the work, and whether your own team or another firm can run the plan. A tool list is not a plan, and a firm that sells one tool will find that tool the answer. If the plan needs a senior owner, a fractional CMO can own it alongside your team.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Anish Basu MallikMarketing Executive at Unimark GroupAn outside look at your tools and daily work, a list of where AI and generative AI help and where they do not, and a short written plan with one owner for every step. It may also cover data rules for staff. Building the steps is a separate choice.
AI strategy consulting decides what AI is for in your company before anything is bought: which jobs, in what order, who owns each, and how you will know it worked. AI transformation is the large phrase for using AI in many daily jobs. We treat it as small, owned changes, each with a number you can check.
Ask what happens after the report. Will it name an owner for each step, say when AI is not the answer, and write a plan your own team can run? Does it sell one tool? Ask every firm, including us.
Consulting decides what to build first. We build and run some of it through our AI automation and business systems and CRM work, as a separate decision. The plan can go to your own team or another firm. We do not start with a tool, and we claim no tool-maker partnership.
The AI check is a 30-minute call with a strategist and a one-page plan on where AI would help your business first. The AI process audit is the fuller review: it maps the work, lists the repeated tasks and ranks them by value and risk. The check comes first.
Before the plan is final, we agree three or four numbers for each step, such as time to first reply or hours spent on a weekly report. We check the same numbers after the changes, and tell you if they have not moved. The timeline is in the quote.
We ask for read-only access wherever the platform allows it, sign an NDA if you wish, and you can remove our access on the day the work ends. We also help you set rules for what staff may put into outside AI tools.
Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We work hybrid and remotely, so interviews and reviews run over calls wherever you are, and the written plan reaches you online. We visit, and when a job needs it, our team works at your site.
