Feeds for Kochi shops, hotels, clinics and firms, planned online with a servicing team across India. We count the chats and bookings, not the likes.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A Kochi feed that wins likes but no chats or bookings is a cost, not marketing. PromotEdge builds your content calendar, makes Reels, answers comments and runs paid posts for Kochi shops, clinics, hotels, startups and exporters.
The aim is that the people who follow you start to call, book and message you on WhatsApp.
Three terms first. Organic social is what people see because they follow you, or a friend shared your post. Paid social is when you pay Meta, which owns Instagram and Facebook, to show a post to more people. Community management means answering comments and messages on time. We judge all three by the enquiries they bring.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and social media work runs online in hybrid mode. You approve every post on a shared calendar first. We visit Kochi to meet you, and when a job needs it, a team member works from your site.
This page covers only what changes in Kochi. Our method for any Indian brand is on the national social media marketing page. The wider picture of the city sits on our Kochi overview.
Onam, Vishu, the Carnival week and your launches on one shared plan. Festival posts are ready a month early, so you can approve them calmly.
Reels (short vertical videos) of your shop, kitchen, clinic or site. We write the shot list and do the editing. Our in-house team films, with a partner agency where a job needs one.
Hiring posts usually stay in English. Our language partners write captions in English, Hindi, Tamil and more, never by machine. Malayalam only after a partner agrees to take it on.
04Comments and messages answered on working days. A buyer asking about price or stock is passed to your staff on WhatsApp within the day.
05Meta ads set to chosen Kochi pin codes, the rest of Kerala, or countries where your buyers live. We boost only posts that already earn saves. For tourists and buyers abroad, our language partners can write French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese or Korean captions.
06Founder and company posts for IT firms at Infopark, the government IT park in Kakkanad since 2004, and for port and logistics firms.
07Kerala creators picked for who follows them, not only how many. Every paid post is marked as an ad.
Chats, calls and bookings from social media, set beside what you spent. Likes come last.
Each one changes what we post, in which language, and in which week. Four more are in the fold below.
Malayalam at home, English at work. The Ernakulam district website says Malayalam is the official language, and that English is popularly used in business circles. So a jeweller's festival offer and an IT firm's hiring post need different words, and often a different language. We know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business.
Four more Kochi facts, each with its source: phones, the festival year, the Water Metro and followers abroad.
Nearly everyone has a connection. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 35.55 million internet subscribers in Kerala at the end of March 2026. That is 98.16 for every 100 people. Ernakulam district alone has about 32.8 lakh people, says the district website. Being seen is not the hard part here. Being saved, shared and messaged is.
A festival year that is Kerala's own. Kerala Tourism calls Onam "The National Festival of Kerala". It runs for ten days in the Malayalam month of Chingam, which falls every year in August or September. Vishu, the Solar New Year, comes every year on 13 or 14 April. After them on the Kochi calendar comes the Cochin Carnival in Fort Kochi, held every year from 23 December to 1 January.
A city that looks good on camera. The Water Metro's own site says "Kochi became India's first city to have a Water Metro Project". Its counter showed 76,91,440 passengers by 21 September 2026. The Kochi-Muziris Biennale's sixth edition used 29 venues across Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Willingdon Island and Ernakulam. Boats and old warehouses give a Reel a sense of place that stock clips cannot.
Some of your followers may be abroad. Kochi airport handled 1,13,02,552 passengers in 2025-26. Of them, 53,30,796 flew international routes, nearly half, per the Airports Authority of India. That share is much higher than at the metro airports on the same table. If your buyers live or work abroad, paid posts can reach them there too.
We look at your business first. Marketing comes second.
Kochi's big dates are Onam in August or September and the Cochin Carnival at year end. Plan your Onam posts by June. Name your nearest metro station in your posts and on your profile.
| Kochi date, place or fact | What the source says | What it means for your feed |
|---|---|---|
| Onam (every August or September) | Kerala Tourism calls it "The National Festival of Kerala". Ten days after Atham in the month of Chingam, with the Onam feast and snake boat races. | Plan Onam posts by June. Food, fashion and jewellery brands need the longest lead. |
| Vishu (every year in mid-April) | "Marks the Solar New Year in Kerala", usually on 13 or 14 April. Traditions include the Vishukkani and Vishukkaineetam. | Greetings and new-year offers drafted in March. Warm on the day, with the hard sell kept away. |
| Cochin Carnival, 23 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 | Held in Fort Kochi every year since 1984. A giant Pappanji figure is burnt at midnight on New Year's Eve (Wikipedia). | A year-end countdown series and offers. Cafés, hotels and shops near Fort Kochi gain the most. |
| Kochi-Muziris Biennale | The sixth edition ran from 12 December 2025 to 31 March 2026, with 66 artists across 29 venues. The seventh is listed for 2027-28. | Hotels, cafés and design brands can plan art-led posts for the next edition. |
| Water Metro | Its site lists 10 terminals, including Fort Kochi, Vypin, Kakkanad and High Court. 76,91,440 passengers by 21 September 2026. | Location tags and short travel Reels for brands close to a terminal. |
| Kochi Metro | 28.125 km from Aluva to Tripunithura, with 25 stations. Monthly figures from KMRL (Kochi Metro Rail Ltd) add up to about 1 lakh trips a day in 2025. | Name your nearest station in posts and on your profile. |
| Airport passengers, 2025-26 | 1,13,02,552 passengers, of whom 53,30,796 flew international routes (Airports Authority of India). | A small, tested slice of the ad budget for chosen countries. |
| Stadium at Kaloor | Wikipedia lists it as the home ground of Kerala Blasters FC, with 41,000 seats. | Match-day posts for nearby cafés and sports shops. No club name or logo without permission. |
Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. The Carnival and stadium rows come from Wikipedia. Places, events and clubs are named as part of Kochi, not as PromotEdge clients.
Expect about a month from the first call to the first scheduled post. Steps 3 to 6 are in the fold below.
Who buys from you, where they live and which dates matter. If social media is the wrong place for your money, we say so.
Your pages beside two or three Kochi rivals your buyers follow. Our first three fixes come in writing.
Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.
Steps 3 to 6: language and calendar, the shoot day, weekly posting and the monthly count.
The language each post needs, and which partner writes it. The Carnival week, Vishu and your launches go on one plan.
The clips we need from your shop or site. Your staff may film some on a phone, and our team shoots the rest. We do the editing.
Posts go out only after your yes. Comments get replies on working days. Proven posts get a small, agreed ad budget.
Chats, calls and bookings beside the spend. We drop what isn't working and tell you why.
We don't publish a price list. We quote after a first call with one of our strategists, against a written scope. Ad money goes to Meta at actual cost, and you approve each budget first.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Calendar, Reels, replies and paid posts, reviewed with you each month; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Carnival or launch burst | A fixed scope for a few weeks, such as the Carnival or a store opening; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Plan only | We write a 90-day plan, and your own staff run it; timeline confirmed in the quote |
Five things that move the quote, and what to compare across quotes.
Languages. Each extra language means another set of captions and a partner's check.
Who films. Phone clips from your staff cost less than a planned Kochi shoot day with travel.
Festival weeks. The Carnival, Vishu and Onam each add greetings, offers and faster replies.
Where the ads run. A few Kochi pin codes take less managing than Kerala plus countries abroad.
Reply hours. Working days only, or evenings and weekends too, when hotel guests write in.
Compare the same work across quotes. How many Reels a month? Who checks the Malayalam? Who films in Kochi? Is GST included, and is ad spend inside or outside the quote? We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online in hybrid mode. We talk every working day, and we visit you in Kochi at least once every three months. For a shoot, we name who will be on the ground first. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.
Only once a language partner confirms it can write them. The district website names Malayalam as the official language and English as common in business. So local offers may suit Malayalam, and hiring posts English. Our partners write in English, Hindi, Tamil and more; raise Malayalam on the first call and we check before we plan.
Three. The Cochin Carnival runs in Fort Kochi from 23 December to 1 January, so year-end posts can be planned early. Vishu comes every year in mid-April, so draft its posts by March. Onam returns every August or September; start on it by June.
Four jobs. It chooses your platforms and plans what to post. It makes the posts and Reels. It replies to comments and runs paid posts. Then it reports which of these brought calls or orders. The accounts stay in your company's name.
Ask every agency the same four questions, us included. Can you show a real monthly report, with the client's name hidden? Who checks our Malayalam? Who films in Kochi? Whose name is the ad account in? Pick the clearest answers, even if they aren't ours.
Yes, with paid posts set to the countries you choose. Nearly half of Kochi airport's passengers in 2025-26 flew international routes. We test a small budget first, and keep it only if it brings real enquiries. Tell us the countries that matter.
