Pune is several markets in one district, so one plan never fits all. Search, ads and websites for software firms, plant suppliers, colleges and local shops. Marathi papers, Pune radio and trade-show stalls when they fit. Run by a team across India, and judged by the enquiries it brings.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Plant belts, IT parks and colleges do not buy the same way, so one marketing plan cannot serve them all. PromotEdge plans and runs Google search, ads, websites and social media, plus Marathi and English media.
Some firms sell to other companies and some sell to families. Each month you see which work brought enquiries.
Here is what we usually see in Pune: a plant-belt supplier, a software firm, a college and a local shop all ask for marketing, and each needs its own plan. We think like an Indian business, so the plan follows the buyer.
A parts supplier's buyer is an engineer who wants sizes and proof: clear product pages, search and LinkedIn. A college plans around admissions. A shop or clinic needs Google Maps, Instagram and often a Marathi ad.
Our in-house team of 65+ people runs your account. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We keep in touch every day and meet you in Pune at least once every three months.
More on these buyers: automotive, industrial manufacturing, IT services and education. One team handles strategy, digital marketing, advertising and BTL (below the line: stalls, events, shop branding), with branding in the same team.
The Auto Cluster exhibition centre in Chinchwad has halls of 20,000 and 10,000 sq ft and has hosted 200+ shows in the past ten years. Plant suppliers meet buyers here, so plan the stall, follow-up emails and search ads together.

Akashvani's main channel (792 kHz) and Vividh Bharati (101 MHz) list ₹660 gross for 10 seconds on the main channel on the government card of 1 June 2017; that is the government's rate, not ours. PMPML gave a 5-year licence for ads on 865 bus shelters and 10 bus stands in December 2024, and filed a police case over an unauthorised bus-stop ad in November 2025. Pune airport handled 1,10,05,988 passengers in 2025-26, and a new terminal opened on 10 March 2024.

The district site says Pune "has a growing industrial hinterland, with information technology, engineering and automotive companies sprouting." STPI Pune, which helps IT firms export, sits in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjawadi. The Pune region had 15,61,799 micro enterprises on the Udyam portal from July 2020 to December 2025, the most of any region in Maharashtra.

On their own sites: Serum Institute of India, a vaccine manufacturer, lists Hadapsar, Pune. Bharat Forge, a forging company, lists its registered office at Mundhwa. KPIT Technologies, which builds software for automotive and mobility, lists Hinjawadi. The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) calls itself "Maharashtra's Largest Industry Network" (its own wording).

Google recommends keeping important content in text form and says no special optimisation is needed for AI Overviews or AI Mode. For a plant supplier, that means sizes and certificates written on the page, not only in a brochure image.

Our view: buyers will ask AI tools to shortlist suppliers, so clear facts on your site matter more each year. See AI and systems, or ask us how it fits your firm.

02Pune buyers search in different ways. Does one set of pages fit them all?
03A Pune buyer judges your firm by its website before they ever call.
04Pune's buyers are not all on one platform, so where should your posts go?
05Pune is not one market. Will one logo suit every buyer?
06Can a buyer grasp your catalogue or deck before they read the fine print?
07Before the camera comes out, what one job must your Pune film do?
08Who calls whom after the Pune stall closes? Plan that before you book the hall.
09Pune editors print real news, so what is the real news in your firm?
Who earns the money, which language they read in, and when they spend it.
1. Factories, software firms and a large district income. The Economic Survey of Maharashtra puts Pune district's output at ₹5,34,695 crore for 2024-25, about 11.6% of the state by our sum. Income per person was ₹4,26,720, against ₹5,17,875 in Mumbai.
Pune district had 232 of the state's 669 approved private IT parks, the most of any district. The state also lists electronics projects at Ranjangaon and Talegaon, and logistics hubs at Chakan and Talegaon.
ThePrint (August 2026) named Mercedes-Benz, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volkswagen and Skoda among the firms in the Chakan area. Many of these firms sell to other firms, whose buyers compare websites before they call.
2. Marathi first, English close behind. The district's own site lists Marathi, Hindi and English as major languages, and calls Pune "the educational epicenter", "The Oxford of the East". A shop ad may work better in Marathi, while software buyers read English.
Online, TRAI (the telecom regulator) counted 92.39 million internet subscribers in its "Maharashtra" area in March 2026. That area leaves out Mumbai and takes in Goa.
3. A festival year that is half done. Ganesh Chaturthi fell on 14 September 2026, and the Palkhis of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram reached Pune on 9 July. Both are past. Next on the state's holiday list are Diwali Laxmi Pujan on 8 November and Balipratipada on 10 November 2026. Shops and homes spend most in these weeks. Firms that sell to factories plan around trade shows, and colleges around admissions.

| What | In Pune | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | Six private stations on the government list of 30 March 2026, at 91.1, 93.5, 94.3, 95.0, 98.3 and 104.2 MHz. | A short list, so a radio test is quick to plan. |
| Newspapers | Marathi: Daily Sakal and Loksatta have Pune editions on the Audit Bureau of Circulations list; Dainik Prabhat is published from Narayan Peth; Pudhari runs a Pune and Western Maharashtra section. English: The Times of India, The Economic Times, Pune Times Mirror. | Marathi-first homes see your offer in their language. English suits launches and hiring news. |
| Hoarding rules | Permission comes under Sections 244 and 245 of the state's municipal law and its 2022 sign rules. Since 27 May 2026, every legal hoarding must show a QR code. New licences were paused in December 2025 until new rates are set (as of September 2026). | Scan the QR code before you pay for a site. Expect fewer new sites for now. |
| Pune Metro | 2 lines, 30 stations, 33.1 km; 48.32 lakh trips in 12 days in September 2026. A tender for ad rights inside Line 1 stations closes on 14 October 2026. | Daily reach for office-goers. The seller may change after the tender. |
Checked 4 October 2026. The Audit Bureau list shows member papers, not readers. Lokmat and Maharashtra Times are left out: their Pune editions are not confirmed. Akashvani, bus shelters, the airport and trade-show halls are in the fold below.

Pune is served by a servicing team based in cities across India. We work hybrid and remotely, with daily contact and shared reports, and visit you in Pune at least once every three months. For some clients, one of our team works from their office or plant.
We won't call ourselves that, and no agency should. Ask for a real monthly report, the name of the person who will do the work, ad spend kept apart in the quote, a clear way to count a lead, and accounts in your name.
Yes. Pune district has two city corporations, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, and we plan for both from this page. Chakan, Talegaon and Ranjangaon can be set up as their own target areas in search and social ads. Tell us where your plant or office is and we set the areas.
It depends on the buyer. Our language partners write Marathi, Hindi and English. Marathi reaches many homes and local shoppers; English suits software firms, plant buyers and office staff. Many Pune brands run both, with the same offer in each.
Today. Diwali Laxmi Pujan is on 8 November 2026, so many print, radio and outdoor slots are gone. Search and social ads can still start within days. For Ganeshotsav 2027, plan by early summer. Tell us your dates and we will mark which slots are still open.
Not easily right now. Since 27 May 2026 every legal hoarding must carry a QR code showing its permission, and new licences are paused until new rates are set (as of September 2026). Licensed sites can still be booked. General guidance, not legal advice.
A monthly report counts enquiries by source and by area, so Pune city and the plant belt show up apart. It shows your cost per lead (what one enquiry cost you on average) and what to cut and what to grow.
