Hoardings, kiosks and shop boards need NMC permission under the 2022 rules. Add six FM stations, Akashvani and the dailies, and plan around the winter session.

A Nagpur family reads Marathi and Hindi, while a firm near MIHAN can often stay in English, so one ad rarely fits both. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, Marathi and Hindi papers and radio for Nagpur's traders, clinics, colleges and MIHAN firms. Each month you see what your money brought back.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A clinic, an orange trader and a firm at MIHAN reach their buyers in different ways, so one plan stretched across all three wastes money. PromotEdge plans search, ads, websites, social media, Marathi and Hindi papers and radio for the city's traders, clinics, colleges and firms near MIHAN.
Each month we show you which channel brought the enquiries.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India, so most of the work runs online in hybrid mode. We talk every day and meet you in Nagpur at least once every three months.
The district's own website gives Nagpur three labels. It calls the city "the winter capital of the state of Maharashtra", where the state assembly holds its annual winter session. It says Nagpur is "Orange City" because it is a major trade centre for oranges grown in the region. And it says the city lies "precisely at the center of the country", marked by the Zero Mile Marker. Each label points to a different buyer: the state government in session, the orange trader, the firm that ships across states. Knowing which one pays your bills comes first.

SEO (search engine optimisation) means being found on Google without paying per click. Your buyers range from MIHAN firms to students at VNIT and AIIMS.
Firms at MIHAN that sell to other firms need a proper site. So do orange traders, clinics and colleges.
Three things decide where we would put your first rupee in Nagpur. The first is below, and two more are in the fold.
1. Marathi first, Hindi close behind, English for business. Wikipedia gives Nagpur's language mix as Marathi 60.63%, Hindi 22.74% and Urdu 6.36%, without showing the census year. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) runs a home page that is mainly in Marathi, with a switch to English. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 98.23 internet subscribers for every 100 people in Maharashtra in March 2026, against 76.59 for India, a state figure and not Nagpur alone. So most Nagpur ads aimed at families need Marathi and Hindi versions, while a firm selling to firms can often stay in English. We know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business.
The district, the MIHAN cargo hub, and the dates that do not move, with sources.
2. A large district, with a cargo hub and a hospital at its edge. Census 2011 counted about 24 lakh people in Nagpur city and about 46.5 lakh in the district. MIHAN is the state's cargo hub and airport project at Nagpur. MADC, the state body behind it, gives a total area of 4,354 hectares, with a 1,238-hectare SEZ (special economic zone: a tax-friendly industrial area) next to the airport. AIIMS Nagpur has its permanent campus at MIHAN, and VNIT, an Institute of National Importance, was set up in 1960. If you run a logistics firm, an IT services company, a healthcare business or a college, those pages show how buyers like yours decide.
3. A few dates that don't move. The state assembly meets here every year for its winter session, so confirm its dates before you book media. Deekshabhoomi is a Buddhist stupa and memorial. Wikipedia says Dr B. R. Ambedkar took up Buddhism there on 14 October 1956, and that pilgrims gather around the anniversary. Any offer near 14 October should be quiet and respectful.

Nagpur has six private FM stations and dailies in three languages. Shop boards and hoardings need permission, and a board that breaks the rules gets a daily fine. Try two radio stations for a month and ask each caller which one they heard.
| What | In Nagpur | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | Six stations on the government's list of 30 March 2026: 91.1, 91.9, 92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz. | Six stations split the dial, so book two for a month and ask callers which one they heard. |
| Akashvani (All India Radio) | Primary Channel on 585 kHz and Vividh Bharati on 100.6 MHz. The government's June 2017 card lists Vividh Bharati Nagpur at ₹500 gross per 10-second spot, 6.30 to 10 am and 7 to 11 pm. That is the station's rate, not ours. | A published rate to measure quotes against. |
| Dailies | Marathi: Lokmat, Loksatta, Daily Sakal. Hindi: Dainik Bhaskar, Lokmat Samachar. English: The Hitavada, The Times of India, The Economic Times. Lokmat's Diwali annual, Deepotsav, is also listed. | Marathi for families, Hindi next, English for company buyers; ask early about Diwali pages. |
| Sky signs: permission | The NMC Skysign Licence Department takes agency applications for hoardings, kiosks and shop boards on its portal. Its schedule of rates is charged per month, by type of display. | We check each permission first. Read the schedule before you budget, as we don't quote per-item figures here. |
| Sky signs: late or illegal boards | NMC's rate card prints a fine of ₹500 for every day a breach continues after notice. Late payment adds 10% of the permit amount up to 3 months, and 25% up to 6 months. | Put every renewal date in the plan, with one person responsible. |
| Airport | 30,07,734 passengers in 2025-26, up 3.9%, says the Airports Authority of India. 96,174 were international. | Visitors from other cities look you up before they land, so your search and map listings matter. |
| VCA Stadium, Jamtha | On the city's southern edge. Wikipedia lists an India v England one-day match there on 6 February 2025. | Match days bring crowds, so ask the Vidarbha Cricket Association what stall space it allows. |

We don't publish a price list; after a first talk we write a scope for your Nagpur work and quote against it. Media, printing, permissions and travel are passed on at actual cost, and you approve each line.

We have worked with clients since 2015. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.
Meeting you. The first talk is a video call, then we are in touch daily. For some clients, a team member works from their office or plant. We also talk to your sales team and dealers, and for some jobs we bring in industry consultants or a partner agency.
How we plan and test each kind of work in Nagpur, and what else can change your quote.
We ask for your last quarter's enquiries and ten minutes with whoever answers your phone. Then we test small, say a month of FM against a month in a Marathi daily, and scale what works. One team handles digital marketing, advertising and BTL (below the line: stalls, events and shop fronts, where buyers meet you in person). So a Lokmat ad and a Google listing make the same offer.
Online work and media. SEO, ads, website and social media run online, with the ad accounts in your name. We book dailies, FM and Akashvani, and apply through the NMC portal for boards.
Stalls, events and signage. A match-day stall or a shop-front sign is planned with you and delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Marathi and Hindi. Through our language partners we create content in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu and more. Nagpur has an Urdu-speaking community too, and our language partners write for it.
What else changes the cost. Nagpur only, or Vidarbha towns too: each town needs its own media check.
Timing. Book early around the winter session and Diwali pages.
Beyond the city. The district has 14 talukas (sub-districts), and each town gets its own media check, because the papers and radio differ.

No agency can answer that honestly, and we won't try. Ask each one, us included, who writes your Marathi and Hindi copy and who applies to the NMC for board permissions. Ask whether the ad accounts will sit in your name, then pick the answers you can check.
By Wikipedia's count, Marathi is the largest language group in Nagpur, then Hindi, then Urdu. Families usually need both Marathi and Hindi. Our language partners write them, and our team checks the copy. A firm that sells to other firms can often stay in English.
Yes, with permission from the NMC, via its Skysign portal. Its rate card prints a ₹500 fine for each day a breach continues after notice, plus 10% or 25% extra for late payment. A legal news report says Maharashtra's 2022 shop law needs Marathi on a board to be no smaller than any other language. General guidance, not legal advice.
The state assembly's winter session is held here every year, so confirm the year's dates before you book media. Deekshabhoomi's anniversary falls on 14 October. Print and radio slots near it fill early, but search and social ads can start closer to the date. For the 2027 anniversary, start by July.
MIHAN is planned as an international cargo hub and airport, so firms there may sell to buyers in other cities. A few people decide and the sale takes months. Posters matter less than search for their technical terms, an English website and LinkedIn work for B2B (business-to-business) leads.
