Vijayawada,on the Krishna, beside the Amaravati capital works
A farm supplier, a temple-season trader and a firm selling to the capital region each need a different month and a different message. PromotEdge plans Google, social, web and media for all three. You see each month which rupee brought an enquiry.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A river city, a rail junctionand the capital works next door.
Farm cash, temple crowds and a capital site next door do not arrive in the same months, so one plan cannot serve all three. PromotEdge plans Google search, paid ads, websites, social pages, newspaper space and radio spots for farm suppliers, temple-season traders, hotels and firms that sell to the capital region.
Every month it shows which spend brought enquiries.
Vijayawada is the headquarters of NTR district, formed in 2022 when Krishna district was split in two. The district's website names Telugu as its main language. It counts 22,18,591 people in Census 2011, taken before the split, so read that as a rough size.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Most of the work runs online, with a call or message every day, and we meet you here at least once a quarter. The district's website says the Vijayawada railway junction connects Delhi, Calcutta, Madras, Hubli, Gudivada and Machilipatnam. Calcutta is the old name of Kolkata. For how we work in general, see our pages on digital marketing and on advertising.

Vijayawada:what we do.
Farms, a capital site and temple crowds, each on its own calendar.
Four local facts decide where the first rupee should go.
1. The river feeds farms, and farms feed the trade. The Krishna is the district's main river. The Prakasam Barrage, built across it here in 1954 to 1957, replaced an 1852 weir (called an anicut) that served 5.80 lakh acres of irrigated land in four districts. Paddy is the main food crop. In 2019-20 the district's gross cropped area was 2.15 lakh hectares, and 1.08 lakh of them were irrigated. The profile also lists chromate at Kondapalli, iron ore at Jaggayyapet and mica at Tiruvuru. We know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business. Sellers of seed, pumps and farm machines should plan Telugu and WhatsApp first. Plant suppliers: see our industrial manufacturing page.

The Vijayawada market in depth
2. Capital works next door. In 2026 the home page of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) shows 14 tender packages, numbered I to XIV, for the capital city's grids. It also shows an award for the Undavalli Seed Access Road. The state's Amaravati site says the foundation was laid on 22 October 2015, on land that farmers gave through a pooling scheme. The work was going on in 2026, so test this market in small steps. Building materials sellers and real estate firms are the nearest fit.
3. People pass through, by rail, road and air. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) lists Vijayawada Airport, at Gannavaram, as an international airport serving the Andhra Pradesh capital region. It puts the airport on NH-16, the Chennai to Kolkata route. It is about 20 to 25 km from the city, in Krishna district, not NTR. In 2025-26 (April to March) it handled 14,11,958 passengers, up 1.7%. Of these, 40,950 flew international routes, up 41.7%. Visitors need a map pin and a phone number, so fix the Google listing first.
4. Crowds come on a calendar. The Kanaka Durga temple stands on Indrakeeladri hill, on the bank of the Krishna, at the entrance of the city. The district says Dasara there is "celebrated in a very big way", with many pilgrims and a ritual dip in the river. Dasara falls in October each year. The Gunadala Matha festival at St. Mary's Church runs 9 to 11 February every year. That includes 2027. The district says more than 5 lakh people visit, which is its own figure. Mahasivarathri draws people in thousands for a dip in the Krishna, and Krishna Pushkaram, a river festival held once in 12 years, is an all-India festival here.

What Vijayawada reads, hears and visits, and what to do about it.
Vijayawada has three private FM channels and four papers, three in Telugu and one in English. Write to the city corporation for the steps and fees of each site before you book a board. Book one FM channel for a month on its own phone number, and count the calls.

| What | In Vijayawada | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Private FM radio | On the government's list dated 30 March 2026, Vijayawada has three private FM channels: 91.9, 93.5 and 98.3 MHz. | Book one channel for a month, with a phone number only that ad uses, and set the calls against the bill. |
| Akashvani | The rate card of the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), dated 1 June 2017, puts the primary channel at 837 kHz. For 10 seconds it asks Rs 500 or Rs 300, by programme type. FM Rainbow, 103.4 MHz, has three rates from Rs 440 to Rs 220, by time of day. Vividh Bharati, 102.2 MHz, has three from Rs 390 to Rs 280. These are Akashvani's 2017 rates, not a PromotEdge fee. | Use 2017 as a rough guide, and ask the station for its current card. |
| Telugu and English dailies | The member list of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) shows Vijayawada editions of Eenadu, Sakshi and Andhra Jyoti in Telugu, and of The Hindu in English. | Pick the paper by your buyer's language, then ask for the Vijayawada rate card. Other papers may print here too. |
| Outdoor boards | Vijayawada is the district's one municipal corporation, the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC). | Write to the VMC for the steps and fees of each site before any board is booked. See the FAQ below. |
| Where the city ends | NTR district has 20 mandals (block-level units of government). The Vijayawada division lists six: Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada Rural, Vijayawada Central, Vijayawada East, Vijayawada North and Vijayawada West. | Set ad areas by these names, then see which mandal's enquiries turn into sales. |
| Kondapalli toys | The district calls Kondapalli toys a craft about 400 years old, made by artisans who came from Rajasthan around the 16th century. Kondapalli is a village near the city. | A Kondapalli toy maker needs clear photos, one page for each set and a one-tap order button, like any D2C (direct-to-customer) brand. |
| Service: Advertising | Three FM channels, three Akashvani channels and four papers on the ABC list, one of them in English. | We match each medium to your buyer, run one test for a month and keep what brings enquiries. Outdoor starts with the VMC's written steps. |
| Service: SEO | Pilgrims, travellers and company buyers all search before they come or call. Some search in Telugu. | Here, SEO (search engine optimisation: being found on Google without paying per click) starts with one page for every product, stay or trip. A Telugu version is a separate page. |
Each row carries its source and was checked on 4 October 2026. The district gives its own counts and claims, and the two service rows describe our plan, not a promise of results.
What shapes the costof your Vijayawada plan.
There is no price list online. After a first talk you get a written plan with a cost on every line. Paper space, airtime, VMC permissions and printing are passed on at the owner's price.
How we quote
- A first call: who buys from you, where, and what an enquiry cost last quarter.
- We study your website and Google listing, and who else is reaching your buyers.
- A written quote within 2 working days of the first call. You approve it line by line, and nothing is booked before that.
What you get in the quote
- What we would do in Vijayawada, and what we would skip
- Each Telugu or English page, ad or script as its own line
- Written VMC steps before any board or stall site is booked
- Papers, FM and Akashvani at the media owner's rate
How it is billed
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Search, ads and social work that runs all year; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Fixed project | One shop website (usually 4 to 6 weeks), or a single Dasara-season push; timeline confirmed in the quote |
Ask for the free plan: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists and a one-page plan. We take on a limited number, so we'll tell you whether it's a fit. We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.

Meeting you. The first talk is a 30-minute video call with one of our strategists. After that we speak every day and meet you in Vijayawada at least once a quarter. That may be near the Kanaka Durga temple, or at a site in the capital region. For some clients, a team member sits in the client's office or plant.

How we work in Vijayawada
Online work and media. Search, ads, websites and social pages are run online, with the ad accounts in your company's name. We book Telugu papers, the three FM channels and Akashvani only once you have seen each rate.
Boards, stalls and events. A shop board, a screen or an exhibition stall is delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy, and the VMC's written steps come first. Printing is handled through the same partner.
Languages. Telugu is the district's main language. Through our language partners we create content in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more. A Telugu radio script, paper ad or web page is a normal request.
What shapes the cost:
Your buyer. A rice dealer and a lodge near the temple need different pages and media.
Your reach. The six city mandals, all of NTR district, or the capital region too.
Language and season. Telugu and English versions are separate lines. Dasara and Gunadala week set when ads go live.
Media and permissions. Each paper, FM channel and Akashvani channel has its own rate. A board's permission, printing and mounting are billed apart.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and our in-house team of 65+ people backs it up. Most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We talk to you daily and meet you in Vijayawada at least once every three months. For some clients, one of us sits in their office or plant.

We will not call ourselves that, and nobody else should. Ask each agency, us included, for work in your field, such as a farm supplier, a lodge or a capital-works vendor. Find out who holds the ad accounts and what report you get each month. Then pick the one whose answers you can check.

As of 4 October 2026 we found no hoarding rules, fees or permit steps published for Vijayawada. The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation website returned an error twice that day, and the state's municipal administration home page lists no advertisement policy. So write to the VMC for each site's steps and fees, and keep the reply. General guidance, not legal advice.

Dasara at the Kanaka Durga temple falls in October each year. Start with a correct Google listing, a WhatsApp button and one clear festival offer, and read the temple's notice for the dates, and go live a month ahead. Another big date is Gunadala Matha, held on 9 to 11 February each year, including 2027.
-
A page that only says "supplier" tells a buyer nothing. Give each product its own page, aimed at one kind of buyer, with a phone number and a WhatsApp button. Farm buyers want Telugu and a price range. Contractors want sizes, brands and a quote form in English.
-
No one can promise that. The CRDA home page showed 14 tender packages and an award in 2026, so the work was under way, not done. Treat it as a slow test: one page for the capital-region buyer, three months of tracked enquiries, then decide.
