Draft with AI.Decide with people.

AI can draft almost anything for a marketer, but it cannot tell what is true about your product or brand. PromotEdge is a marketing and growth agency.

We use AI tools for first drafts, research, personalisation and reports, and a trained person checks every piece before a customer sees it.

We grow your business through marketing, sales and the AI systems behind them. Most teams we meet already paste prompts into a free AI tool, and every post starts to sound like everyone else's. The fix is rules, not another tool.

This page is marketing done with AI tools. Being named inside ChatGPT or Gemini answers is a different job, on our AI SEO (GEO and AEO) page.

If your own product is built on AI, see our note on marketing for AI companies and AI products.

/ 02 What we do

AI where it helps.A person where it matters.

01

Choosing the right jobs

We list your marketing jobs and mark each: good for AI, needs a person, or leave alone. Most brands start with two or three.

02

Voice guide and AI rules

Your tone, approved facts, banned claims and the data that must never go into a tool, in one short document.

03

Articles and posts

First drafts from your notes, edited by someone who knows your brand. Every fact and the tone are checked.

04

Ad copy options

Many headline versions to test. We remove false and off-brand ones and check platform ad rules before anything runs.

05

Email and WhatsApp

Messages that change by interest or stage, with opt-in, approved templates and an easy way to stop.

06

Research and reports

Competitor reading, review summaries and plain-English report notes, with sources listed and each number checked.

07

Customer replies

Drafts for a person to approve. Prices, policies and promises are checked first, and a human stays one tap away.

08

Team training

A short session: what to ask, what to check, what never to paste and who approves what.

Our beliefThink creative. Act on numbers.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

Hurdles with AI in marketing, and the way through.

“Our AI posts sound like everyone else's.”

A tool with no brand rules writes in an average voice. We write a short voice guide first, with words you use and never use, and an editor shapes each draft.

“The AI quoted a feature we do not have.”

Facts never come from the AI. Every draft is checked against a fact sheet you sign off. Anything not on it is removed or confirmed with you.

“We pay for three AI tools and nobody owns them.”

Each tool gets a named owner, a job and a monthly look at whether it is used. A tool with no job is cancelled.

“An agency says "AI powered" but cannot say what the AI does.”

Ask for the list: which job, which tool, who checks it. We write that list for every job and show you the draft, the edit and the final.

“Reports arrive late, and nobody reads the long ones.”

AI can summarise a report in plain words. A person checks each number against your tracking before it reaches you.

“Every customer gets the same email.”

Messages can change by interest or stage, using your CRM (customer relationship management software), only for people who agreed to hear from you. A person approves each version.

“Someone pasted customer details into a free AI tool.”

It happens often. We set simple rules on what goes into which tool and train your team in half a day. India's DPDP Act, 2023 asks for care (general guidance, not legal advice).

“We test two ad versions a month, because writing more is slow.”

AI can draft ten headlines in minutes. A person keeps the three that are true and on brand. The ad platform's numbers pick the winner.

/ 04 Content operations

From brief to publish,a person at every step.

StepWhat AI doesWhat a person does
BriefTurns your notes, product sheet and past posts into a draft brief.Confirms the audience, the offer and the facts.
DraftWrites first drafts and headline options from the brief. An editor shapes the voice and cuts what says nothing new.
CheckFlags tone slips and facts missing from your fact sheet.Checks every claim, price and name against approved sources.
ApprovalKeeps the draft, the edit and the final side by side. The approver you name signs off. Your lawyer sees regulated claims.
PublishingFormats each piece for its channel from one calendar.Presses publish and reads the first replies.

Writing that must rank is a separate job, on our content marketing page.

/ 05 How we work

Rules first, a small trial, then more.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. The first step is a 30-minute AI check: a call with a strategist and a one-page plan on where AI would help your business first. It is for projects we think we can help. We take on a limited number and say honestly if it is not a fit.

  1. 01

    Pick the jobs

After the check, we list the jobs that take your team longest and choose one to try. We say no to bulk content with no review.

  2. 02

    Write the rules

A voice guide, a fact sheet, banned claims and what data goes into which tool. You sign it off.

  3. 03

    Try one job

We run it with AI tools and an editor. Every output is checked before it goes anywhere.

  4. 04

    Compare with the old way

Time, quality, corrections needed and the response from real buyers, side by side.

  5. 05

    Keep, change or stop

If AI did not help, we say so and stop. If it did, it moves to the next job.

  6. 06

    Train and hand over

Your team learns the rules and checks. Tools and accounts are in your company's name.

  7. 07

    Review every month

We read the errors found, tools unused and new jobs worth trying.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

Sayantan Guha, our Chief Creative Director, leads the creative side, so the writing sounds like your brand.

How your business model changes the plan

A D2C brand (selling direct online) gains most from ad and email versions. A dealer-led maker selling to other businesses gains from catalogue text and report notes. A franchise needs one voice guide that every outlet follows. A services firm gains from research and monthly reports.

  1. Choose the job before the tool. A tool without a job becomes a subscription nobody opens. A one-page list of jobs, marked AI, person or leave alone.
  2. Write the rules first. AI fills gaps with confident guesses. A fact sheet closes the gaps. A signed fact sheet and voice guide.
  3. Keep a person on the last check. A model predicts likely words. It does not know your price list. Draft, edit and final shown side by side.
  4. Compare with your old way. A good demo is not a result. Time saved and fewer corrections are. A before and after sheet in your own numbers.
  5. Keep personal data out of public tools. Free tools may keep what you paste into them. A one-page rule on what goes where.

AI in marketing: today and next

Today: ads

Google describes AI Max for Search campaigns as wider search-term matching, headline and description customisation and final URL expansion. It says advertisers typically see 14% more conversions at a similar cost, from its own 2025 data. We treat that as Google's figure, to test on your account.

Today: written content

Google says AI can help with research and structure, but its output must be fact-checked before publishing, and many pages made without adding value may break its spam policy. That is our editing rule too.

Next

Our view: tools will keep getting better at first drafts and at testing ad versions. Facts, claims and your brand voice will still need a person. Want us to mark which of your jobs suit AI? Book a 30-minute AI check.

Who sets the rules for advertising in India

ASCI

ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India) describes itself as an independent, voluntary body that aims to keep ads in India fair, honest and within the ASCI Code. We check AI-written ad claims against it.

/ 07 Cost

What affects the cost of AI marketing.

AI tool subscriptions, usage fees and Meta's message charges are paid to their providers, separately from our fee.

What affects the cost

  • How many marketing jobs, and across how many channels
  • How much checking each job needs: a social post is lighter than a product claim
  • How many languages the content needs
  • The voice guide and fact sheet: written new, or built from what you have
  • Team training, and for how many people
  • The tools: your own or new ones, and their usage fees

How we quote

  1. You tell us which jobs take the most time and which tools you use
  2. We look at samples of your content, reports and lead follow-up
  3. We write the scope: jobs, rules, checks, who approves and how success is judged
  4. The quote lists set-up and monthly work on separate lines, with each tool fee shown as the provider's cost

What you get in the quote

  • The list of jobs, marked for AI or a person
  • The voice guide, fact sheet and AI use rules
  • A pilot on one job, with a before and after comparison
  • An editor's check on every output, and a monthly review if you choose it

Comparing quotes? Ask each agency which AI tools it uses, who checks the output and what data goes in. Ask what it does if the AI makes a wrong claim in your name.

Straight answers.

  • It uses AI tools inside normal marketing work: first drafts, ad copy options, personalised messages, research and report summaries. A good one also says where not to use AI. The plan, the facts and the final approval stay with people.

  • AI marketing means doing marketing with AI tools. AI SEO means making your brand easy for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers to find and name. They are different jobs, and the second has its own page, AI SEO (GEO and AEO).

  • It is AI that writes text, makes images or drafts replies from an instruction. In marketing it gives first drafts, headline options and summaries. It does not know what is true about your company unless a person supplies the facts and checks the result.

  • It is software that follows a rule for a routine step, with AI added where the input is ordinary text. For example, a message changes by the buyer's interest. Follow-up rules live in marketing automation and CRM; the company-wide set-up is on our AI automation page.

  • Unchecked AI text often sounds generic, and bulk content with no review tends to be thin. So an editor shapes each draft to your voice, checks every fact and cuts what says nothing new. Readers and search engines judge quality, not the tool.

  • Prices, legal or regulatory claims, testimonials and results, and anything about a person's private details. A person writes or confirms those from approved sources. We also do not paste customer data into public AI tools, and we say so in the written rules.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We work hybrid and remotely and visit regularly. The work is done by our in-house team of 65+ people, with industry consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them.

  • We agree measures first: the time a job took, corrections needed and what real buyers did, from your records and the ad platform. We have no measured results from AI-assisted work to share yet. On a call we show a draft, an edit and a final side by side. If AI did not help, we say so and stop.
