A like cannot be banked, and a Lucknow shop owner knows it. PromotEdge runs Reels, posts, replies and paid social for kitchens, chikan stores and growing firms. We count the enquiries, not the likes.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A short Reel can show chikankari skill in seconds, where a still photo of fine handwork goes flat. As a social media marketing agency for Lucknow, PromotEdge runs content calendars, Reels, replies and paid social for food brands, chikankari sellers and local firms.
That way, followers become calls and orders.
Two terms first. Reels are short vertical videos on Instagram and Facebook. Paid social means ads on those apps, aimed at the people and places you choose.
Now, how we work. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Your account is planned, written and scheduled online, in hybrid mode. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
Food, craft and cricket give every Lucknow brand something to say, so rivals say it too. We pick the story that suits your buyer and count what it brought you. Our job is to impress your customers, not you. Our general method is on the national social media marketing page. For newspapers, radio and outdoor rules in the city, see our Lucknow overview.
Diwali, Eid, the Mahotsav weeks, home matches at Ekana and your launches on one shared plan, drafted weeks ahead.
Kitchen-to-plate Reels and menu carousels for restaurants, caterers and sweet shops, filmed in your own kitchen.
The stitch, the artisan's hands and the finished piece, filmed slowly. Each post ends with one tap: a WhatsApp chat or your shop page.
Each caption written for its own reader by our language partners, never machine-translated. Through them we also create Bengali, Marathi, Tamil and more, for brands selling beyond UP.
05Community management means answering comments and DMs (direct messages) and keeping regular followers talking. Hot enquiries reach your WhatsApp the same working day.
06Meta ads (paid posts on Facebook and Instagram) around your store, across Lucknow or across the state, from an ad account in your company's name.
07Lucknow food and fashion creators picked for who follows them. Every paid post is marked as an ad.
Think creative. Act on numbers.
Each comes from a public record, and each changes what we post. Five more are in the fold below.
Food is the city's calling card. In 2025 UNESCO, the United Nations body for culture, made Lucknow a Creative City of Gastronomy, a title for cities with a rich food culture. One pledge on its UNESCO page is "Preserving and transmitting traditional Awadhi culinary knowledge". A Reel on how your kebabs are made also tells the city's own story. People share posts that make them proud of home.
Five more public facts: chikankari, languages, who is online, cricket days and the city's heritage.
Chikankari needs a close look. Lucknow chikankari, the city's hand embroidery, got GI status in December 2008, as reported. A GI (geographical indication) tag is a legal label that ties a product to its place. When the airport's Terminal 3 opened on 10 March 2024, its check-in counters carried lit-up chikankari and mukaish patterns, says the airport operator. Fine handwork goes flat in a still photo. A slow, close Reel of the needle, the hands and the finished kurta shows the skill in seconds.
Hindi first, with Urdu and English beside it. The district's own site says Hindi and Urdu are spoken in Lucknow. So we choose a language post by post: Hindi for most homes and shops, Urdu for readers who prefer it, English for offices and buyers in other states. Our language partners write the Hindi and Urdu captions, and our team checks them.
City buyers are online; much of the state is still joining. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 152.67 million internet subscribers in Uttar Pradesh at the end of March 2026. That is 62.82 for every 100 people, against 76.59 for all of India. In the state's towns it was 136.50, as many people carry two connections, and in villages 38.96. So ads for one Lucknow store and ads for a brand selling across the state need different plans.
Cricket gives the city shared days. The Ekana Cricket Stadium seats 50,000. The International Cricket Council (ICC) calls it "the fifth largest international cricket stadium of India". It is home to the Uttar Pradesh team and to Lucknow Super Giants, the city's IPL side. On a home match day, cafes, cloud kitchens and sports shops share one topic with the whole city.
Heritage is a voice you can borrow. The district's site lists "The City of Nawabs" among Lucknow's other names. Nawab Asaf-ud-Daulah moved the capital of Awadh here in 1775. An old family sweet shop can lean on that history. A new gym may do better with plain offers.
Lucknow has a food title from UNESCO and well-known places like Hazratganj and Lulu Mall. Tie your posts to these places and to the city's food story. Street posters are risky, so let your feed and local ads carry launch news.
| Lucknow fact | What the source says | What we'd do on social |
|---|---|---|
| Food title | UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, 2025. | Recipe-history carousels that tie your dish to the city's food story. |
| Lucknow Mahotsav | A ten-day art and culture festival, held every year in late November–December. | Stall, food and craft posts, with Reels from the grounds. We plan once the year's dates are out. |
| Ekana stadium | 50,000 seats; home of the Uttar Pradesh team and Lucknow Super Giants. | Match-day offers and city-mood posts, without the team's logo unless you have its permission. |
| Hazratganj | The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) says it is "over 200 years old". Its heritage upgrade brings walkways, matching shopfronts and heritage-style lights. | Evening-walk Reels and shopfront photos for stores in the Ganj. |
| Lulu Mall | Opened 10 July 2022; 2.2 million sq ft; a food court with 25 outlets and 1,600 seats (the Lulu group's figures). | Store-opening posts and weekend offers, tagged to the mall. |
| Janeshwar Mishra Park | About 376 acres in Gomti Nagar, opened in August 2014 (LDA). | Morning-run, cycling and picnic content for fitness, food and family brands. |
| Posters and banners | Under the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) advertising bylaw, event banners can be 10 sq m at most, for 14 days. In January 2025 the Mayor ordered strict action on unauthorised posters. | Street posters are short-lived and risky. Let your feed and local ads carry launch news. |
| Startups | Uttar Pradesh had 21,960+ startups recognised by DPIIT, the central department that certifies them, on 31 March 2026, third among states. | LinkedIn founder posts that make a young firm look credible. |
Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. The 2026 Mahotsav dates were not public when we checked. Venues, malls and teams are named as part of Lucknow's market, not as PromotEdge clients.
After the first 30-minute call, you get a written quote within 2 working days. Nothing starts until you approve it, and we confirm the timeline in the quote. Weeks 3 onwards are in the fold below.
Your buyers, the parts of the city they come from and the language they reply in. Old-city lanes and Gomti Nagar may need different posts.
We study your pages and the Lucknow accounts your buyers follow. Then festivals, the Mahotsav weeks and home matches go on one calendar for you to approve.
Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.
Weeks 3 onwards: the shoot day, posting and replying, and the monthly count.
We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.
One planned day in your kitchen, store or workshop, from a shot list you sign off. Our in-house team shoots, with a partner agency only if the job needs one, and edits the footage.
Posts go out on agreed days and DMs get answers every working day. Posts that earn saves get a small ad budget behind them.
Calls, WhatsApp chats and orders we could trace, set beside what you spent. After the winter season, a note on what to repeat.
There is no PromotEdge price list online. We quote after a first 30-minute call with one of our strategists, against a written scope. Ad money goes to Meta at actual cost.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Calendar, content, replies and paid social, reviewed with you each month; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| Season push | A fixed scope for one stretch, such as the festival weeks up to the Mahotsav; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Plan and coach | We write the calendar and caption rules; your own staff post and reply; timeline confirmed in the quote |
Six things that move the quote, and what to compare across quotes.
Caption languages. Hindi with Urdu or English means two captions per post and a second check.
How much is filmed. A planned shoot day in Lucknow adds our team's travel. Phone clips your staff shoot cost less.
The busy weeks. Festivals, the Mahotsav and home match days need more posts and faster replies.
Where the ads run. One store's neighbourhood is lighter work than separate ads for the city and the rest of the state.
Reply hours. Working days only, or evenings too, when food orders come in.
Creators. Each one adds a brief, an agreement and a check of the ad label.
When you compare quotes, compare the same work. How many Reels a month? Who writes the Hindi and the Urdu? Is shoot travel listed? Is ad money inside the quote or on a line of its own?
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India. Posting, replies and ads happen online in hybrid mode, we talk daily, and you approve each post on a shared calendar. At least once every three months, we come to Lucknow to plan the next season with you. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.
Yes, where your buyers read them. Most shop and food posts work in Hindi. Urdu suits readers who prefer it, and English suits offices. Our language partners write both. Before the first post, we agree who checks each. Tell us your buyers' areas, and we suggest the split.
If you want a stall or offers there, start early. It is held every year in late November–December, but we found no official dates for 2026. We draft the plan first and fix posting days once dates are announced. Send us what you sell, and we draft the offers.
You can post about match day, the city's mood and your own offers. The team's name, logo and match footage belong to their owners, and ads using them usually need permission. This is general guidance, not legal advice. Send us the post idea before you publish, and we check it with you.
It picks the apps your buyers use and what to say on each. It films, writes and schedules posts, answers messages and runs paid social. Each month it tells you which posts brought enquiries. With us, our in-house team does it, with language partners for Hindi and Urdu captions, and consultants or partner agencies where a job needs them.
We won't claim that, and no agency can prove it. Ask each one for a real month's calendar and report, with the client's name hidden. Ask who writes the Hindi and Urdu. Ask whose name the ad account is in, and how an enquiry is counted. Then pick the clearest answers.
