AI companies brands we have worked with

We have not published an AI-company case study yet. We have worked with two technology brands, and their logos are below. We claim no results for them here. The nearest published work is a new digital product built from the name up, and it is not an AI company: Desi Machines, a PromotEdge group company, is an equipment marketplace. We built its name, website, search and AI search content, chatbot and WhatsApp path. We claim no results for it here.

So when we started this project, we had a good discussion with them. And personally, I feel PromotEdge is kind of a one stop solution for us. So basically, they provided us the whole storyboarding regarding the digital assets and how we can use those with our ambassadors programme. They helped us a lot to structurize the whole concept from our side. So in fact, there were a lot of great ideas they provided, guiding us...what we should do and what we should not do in this regard. And the best part was that they were very clear from there, from the whole blueprint. So they understood our request from the proposal and then accordingly they executed it.”

What to know before you start AI companies marketing

The basic checks and the rules on claims for your trade, before you spend.

The basics

For AI companies

  • A demo or sandbox with sample dataA buyer can finish one task in minutes. No card details for a free plan.
  • Trust page and consent noticeWhere data sits, whether it trains a model, a breach contact. DPDP Rules, 2025 ask for a clear consent notice. Source: PIB, 17 Nov 2025.
  • A claims fileEach accuracy or speed claim with its test, data set and date. Source: ASCI Code, Chapter I.
  • Docs, quickstart and status pageOn your own domain, fast, with version dates and a public record of downtime.
  • Trial and cancel termsTell users before a free trial turns paid, and make cancelling easy. Source: CCPA, 2023.
  • Security contact and incident planCERT-In asks for incident reports within 6 hours. Source: CERT-In Directions, 2022.
  • AI-made output labelsIf your tool makes images, voice or video, say how it marks them. Source: PIB, 6 Aug 2026.
  • Company and team pageRegistered name, leaders, address and a person to write to.

Data, claims and AI labels

Plan these in from the first draft.

Customer data. If your product handles personal data of people in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 is likely to apply. Its Rules were notified on 14 November 2025, with 18 months to phase in. They ask for a separate, clear consent notice and a plain-language notice if a breach happens. Penalties go up to ₹250 crore for weak security safeguards.

Claims. The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) code says ads must be truthful and claims of fact must be backed up. A claim from independent research must show its source and date.

AI labels in ads. ASCI released guidelines on AI-made content in ads on 29 September 2026. Check ASCI for the start date. A label does not fix a misleading ad, and fabricated testimonials are prohibited. A demo of a product that does not exist yet needs a label.

AI-made output. India amended its IT Rules on 10 February 2026. Platforms must label permitted AI-made content. If your tool makes images, voice or video, say how its output is marked.

Security and trials. CERT-In asks companies to report cyber incidents within 6 hours and to keep logs for 180 days in India. The CCPA, India's consumer regulator, lists forced card details for a free plan and a silent switch from free trial to paid as dark patterns.

Your lawyer decides which rules apply to you. General guidance, not legal advice.

/ 05 Marketing for AI companies

Marketing for AI companies: the proof buyers check and the words that work

A buyer cannot judge an AI product from a landing page, and the words "AI-powered" tell them nothing. PromotEdge is an AI company marketing agency that helps you make each claim checkable.

That means a demo to try, docs to read and a trust page a security team can forward. We then plan search, AI-assistant visibility, PR and paid tests around it. We do not build models, and we do not promise rankings.

We mean five kinds of seller: model and API providers, agent makers, AI tools for one job such as hiring or support, vision and speech firms, and AI consultancies. An API (application programming interface) is how one program asks another for work. All five sell something a buyer cannot open and inspect.

So AI product marketing is mostly about proof. A business-to-business (B2B) buyer wants to try the product, read how it was tested and ask what happens to their data. Search engine optimisation (SEO) and PR (public relations) only bring people to that proof.

This page is for companies that sell AI. Businesses that only use AI will find their own page among our industries. Below are the problems we meet, the services we plan first and the Indian rules that touch your claims.

/ 06 Common challenges

Common AI companies marketing challenges

“Every rival says "AI-powered". A buyer cannot tell us apart from the page.”

Name the one task the product does and show a result. Our positioning work finds the words a buyer repeats.

This is my problem

“A buyer's security team asked for our data policy and we had nothing ready.”

Publish a trust page: where data sits, whether it trains a model, who sees it. We write it with your engineers through content writing.

This is my problem

“Developers find our docs on Google, but not our main site.”

Docs are some of your strongest search pages. technical SEO makes them fast, titled and linked to the pages that sell.

This is my problem

“Buyers ask ChatGPT for a shortlist, and we are not on it.”

No one can buy a place in an answer. AI search optimisation makes your facts clear and checkable, and we test which assistants name you.

This is my problem

“A buyer's lawyer questioned our accuracy claim.”

Keep a claims file: each number with its test, data and date. ASCI wants ad claims backed on request.

This is my problem
/ 07 Order to start

Where to start marketing an AI company, step by step

StepWhat we doWhy
1. Positioning and claims filePick the one task you want to be known for. List every claim with its test, data and date.Every later page rests on claims you can defend.
2. Demo, trust page and pricingA demo or sandbox first. Then a data and security page, and a pricing page with a worked example.A buyer wants to test the product before talking to anyone.
3. Docs and searchMake docs, use cases and test write-ups easy to find on Google and in AI assistants.Developers and buyers search for exact tasks.
4. PR and proofFounder and research profiles, and case stories only with a customer's written yes.Buyers check that others have trusted you first.
5. Paid tests and follow-upSmall Google and LinkedIn tests that send people to the demo. Budget follows trials that turn paid.Spend only after the pages can convert.

We do not build, train or test models. We do not promise rankings or a place in an AI answer. Your engineers and lawyer own the product and the legal papers.

Cost by budget

What affects the cost of marketing for AI companies

We don't publish a price list. After a 30-minute strategist call, a written quote follows within 2 working days. Ad spend is separate from our fee.

What affects the cost

  • How much proof exists today: tests, a data page, docs, a demo
  • Pages to build or fix, and how many products and languages
  • Content volume, PR, and the number of paid channels

How we price it

  1. We talk about your product, your buyers and what they can check today
  2. We read your site, docs and claims
  3. A written quote follows within 2 working days, with fee and ad spend on separate lines

What you get in the quote

  • The first 90 days, step by step, with dates
  • A claims file and the pages that rest on it
  • Search, content, PR and paid tests, as scoped

How you pay

Way of workingWhen it fits
Proof and pages projectPositioning, claims file, demo, trust and pricing pages; timeline confirmed in the quote
Monthly retainerOngoing search, content, PR and paid tests; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop
Ad spend, separate from our feeBilled as Google and LinkedIn charge it

Be careful of anyone who promises a place in an AI answer or a ranking. Nobody controls those.

Every client and project is different. The cost depends on the effort it takes, so we price after the first call.

See the steps after you ask

What happens after you ask

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop. A single job, such as one event or one print run, is quoted as one project.

Who will work with you

A named lead and a day-to-day contact. A call or WhatsApp that gets answered. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.

Our beliefWe start with logic and your numbers, not with ideas we happen to like.

Market and buyers

For companies that sell AI, from APIs and agents to tools for one business job.

Market size and trend

Nasscom counted more than 890 generative AI startups in India by the first half of 2025, and says the count rose 3.7 times in a year. About 83% build applications, and 63% changed their model or focus in the past year. The IndiaAI Mission has an outlay of ₹10,371.92 crore, with 10,000 or more GPUs planned for shared compute.

How buyers decide

In a report of 15 October 2026, Nasscom surveyed 200 Indian enterprises. Most need a person to approve every action an AI agent takes, which Nasscom calls the real limit to scale. At least 75% want proof of return on investment (ROI), and over two-thirds cannot see what AI costs them. Developers are wary too. In Stack Overflow's 2025 survey, 46% distrust the accuracy of AI tools and 33% trust it. Two in three name output that is "almost right, but not quite" as their top frustration. So show where the product fails.

How AI companies sell here

API and model firms are found by developers, so docs and a free tier do the first selling. Agent and tool makers sell to a team head and then a security reviewer, as in B2B SEO and LinkedIn lead generation. Consultancies sell on named people, as in leadership PR. Speech and vision firms sell to banks, telecom and government, where a pilot comes first.

Where it is heading, and AI today and next

AI today drafts docs from code comments, sorts support tickets and tags test results. AI next may name tools in its answers, and ASCI already says a paid AI product suggestion must read "Sponsored by" and the brand name. AI cannot prove your accuracy for you. See our AI systems.

What AI buyers check, and the page that answers it

From the buyer's question to your page

These are our own examples. A security team, a developer and a finance head ask different things, so use the table to find the page you are missing.

What the buyer asksThe page that answers itWhat the page must show
Does it work on my data?A demo or sandbox with sample dataA task that finishes in minutes, with no card details for a free plan. India's 2023 dark-pattern rules call forced card details a trap
How accurate is it?A results page for one taskThe test, the data set, the date, and the cases it got wrong
Is my data safe? Does it train your model?A trust pageWhere data is stored, who can see it, whether it trains a model, and a contact for breaches
What will it cost when we use it a lot?A pricing page with a worked exampleOne real usage case worked out in rupees, so a finance head can check the sum
Can my developers use it this week?Docs, a quickstart and a status pageA first call that works in minutes, error lists, version dates and a record of downtime
What happens when it is wrong?A limits pageWhere a person must check the output. Most firms Nasscom surveyed want a person to approve each agent action
Who else relies on it?Customer storiesA real name with a written yes, or no name. An AI-made quote or face is not allowed
Who is behind this company?A company and team pageThe registered company name, the leaders, an address and a person to write to

What you can do, and how we would deliver

What you can do, and what is not ours

Your engineers own the model, the tests and the security review. Your lawyer owns the terms, the data policy and the last word on claims. Keep a short log of every test you run, because we can only publish what you can show. We take the positioning, pages, search, content, PR and paid tests.

How we would deliver, and why each step

First the claims file, so every page rests on something you can defend. Then the demo, trust page and pricing page, because a buyer tests before talking to anyone. Then docs and search, so people find them. PR and paid tests come last. We plan the early steps in a go-to-market plan. Saurav Agarwal, our Founder and CEO, takes the strategy call. Shivanand Mishra, our Digital Marketing Lead, leads the search work and the reporting. Rima Shaw, our Senior Account Manager, is your day-to-day contact.

AI companies marketing FAQs

Short answers. For anything else, call or WhatsApp us.

  • Start with one task the product does, shown in a demo a buyer can try. Then add proof: tests with dates, a data page and docs. Search, LinkedIn and PR bring buyers to it. We measure trials and demo requests, not clicks, using trial-to-paid reporting.

  • Drop the label and name the job. "Reads a scanned invoice in Hindi and fills your accounts sheet" tells a buyer more than "AI-powered finance". Add a number from a test you can show, with its date. Our brand positioning finds that one line and checks it with real buyers.

  • No. We do not build, train or test models, and we do not write product code. Your engineers own that. We plan how the product is explained and proved to buyers: positioning, website, docs search, content, PR and paid tests. If a claim needs a benchmark, your team runs it and we publish it.

  • A buyer's security team looks for a working demo, a plain data page, a results page with the test and date, docs, and a pricing page with an example. Add a named team and a contact. Each answers a question that would otherwise come up on a call. See website design for AI products.

  • No one can buy a place in an answer. Google says AI Overviews need no extra optimisation: a page must be indexed and able to show a snippet. So write plain pages that say what you do, for whom, and the proof. We check which assistants name you and fix gaps. Read our guide to AI search.

  • Training bots and search bots are separate. OpenAI says GPTBot is for training and OAI-SearchBot is for search results, and you can set them apart. Anthropic names ClaudeBot for training and Claude-SearchBot for search. Blocking a search bot may cut how often assistants find you.

  • Yes. ASCI's code says ads must be truthful, and claims of fact must be backed up on request. Research claims must show source and date. ASCI's AI labelling guidelines, released on 29 September 2026, add that a label does not fix a misleading ad. Your lawyer decides. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

  • It depends on what you need: positioning, a demo and trust pages, docs search, content, PR or paid tests. We do not publish a price list. After a 30-minute call, a written quote follows within 2 working days, with our fee and ad spend on separate lines. See how we price on our pricing page.

  • Ongoing monthly work has a 3-month minimum. After that you can stop with 30 days' notice. A project has a clear end, and we confirm its timeline in the quote. The smallest first step, a free 30-minute call and a one-page plan, commits you to nothing.

  • Before work starts, we agree in writing who your main contact is, how often you meet, and who signs off each piece of work. The person who plans your campaign talks to the person who designs it every day. The seniors you meet at the first call are the people who run your work.
