/ 01 Online reputation management

Be foundfor the right reasons.

A few angry Google reviews, a low star rating or an old news story can lose you a buyer before any call. PromotEdge is an online reputation management (ORM) company that helps businesses earn trust, so searchers turn into enquiries.

We manage your Google reviews, Business Profiles, what ranks for your name and the news and social mentions.

Most Indian buyers meet you on a phone. They search your name, see your Google Maps rating, read the top reviews and scan page one. We'd rather be blunt than pleasing: we never write fake reviews, and we never promise to remove genuine ones.

ORM sits next to public relations for coverage that ranks for your name. It also works with SEO (search engine optimisation) for the pages that should lead your results, and social media where conversations start.

/ 02 What's included

Eight partsof a reputation programme.

We work for corporate groups, listed companies and startups where trust decides the sale. These include healthcare, education, real estate, financial services, hospitality and brands with many locations.

01

Reputation audit

Your brand, products and leaders searched across Google, Maps, review sites, social platforms, forums and news. Every result is classified.

02

Google Business Profile

Accurate names, categories, hours, photos, products and posts for every location, and a watch for unwanted edits by others.

03

Review requests

Direct links, QR codes and post-visit WhatsApp or SMS to every customer, not only the happy ones. We never write, buy or swap reviews. It breaks Google's rules and India's BIS standard on online consumer reviews (IS 19000:2022). Google also bans review gating and incentives.

04

Review replies

A tone guide and replies by situation. A complaint gets a prompt, polite reply and an offline fix. A wrong fact gets a clear correction. Trolling often gets none. Replies never confirm who a customer, patient or student is.

05

Search results for your name

Page one for your brand and founders improved with owned pages, profiles, PR and content that deserves to rank. Founders approve everything in their name.

06

Monitoring

Alerts across Google, Justdial, Practo, Zomato, Glassdoor, AmbitionBox, social platforms, YouTube and news, chosen for your category.

07

Crisis plan

Agreed in advance: one decision-maker, one statement, the same on every channel. Unlawful content goes to the platform's grievance officer under the IT Rules, 2021, with your legal counsel. Nothing here is legal advice.

08

Monthly reporting

Rating, review count and reply times by location, sentiment, what ranks for your name, and complaints that keep returning. No ORM case study is published yet, so judge us on this report.

/ 03 Sound familiar?

What hurtsyour first impression.

“A few angry reviews are dragging our rating down.”

One star from a real customer is a signal, not an attack. We reply fairly, fix the cause with your team and ask every customer for a review. If the same complaint keeps returning, the fix is in operations, and we show you the pattern.

“Page one for our founder's name shows an old controversy.”

We can't delete true news. We can make sure accurate, current pages rank alongside it. These are bios, interviews, profiles and coverage of what the company does now.

“Our branches show different names, numbers and hours on Google.”

We claim and verify every location's Business Profile and keep names, categories, hours and photos consistent.

“We think a competitor is posting fake reviews about us.”

We collect evidence and report the reviews through Google's own process. If the content is unlawful, we prepare the papers for your legal counsel.

“An agency offered to remove all our bad reviews for a fee.”

Walk away. Genuine reviews can't be removed legitimately, and paid takedown tricks tend to backfire. Only reviews that break a platform's policies can be reported.

“Our Glassdoor and AmbitionBox reviews are putting off good hires.”

Employer reviews need the same care. We give honest replies and raise problems with HR. We invite current employees to share their experience, without pressure or scripts.

“Nobody in our team replies to reviews.”

We write a response playbook and tone guide and reply on your behalf. Sensitive cases follow approval rules. A new review raises an alert, the right person gets a reminder, and the reply is logged.

“We moved offices, but Google still shows the old address and phone number.”

Customers drive to the wrong place or call a dead number, then leave a one-star review. We correct the Business Profile, the listings that copy from it and the website.

/ 04 How we work

From auditto steady ratings.

Replies and Business Profile fixes take effect within days. Ratings shift over a few months of steady new reviews; page one for your name takes several months. We can't do magic alone. Tell us early when something goes wrong, and give us a contact who can fix complaints.

  1. 01

    Audit

We search your brand, products and leaders wherever buyers might look, from Google and Maps to forums and news. Then we classify what we find.

  2. 02

    Fix the foundations

Google Business Profiles claimed and verified, then corrected, for every location. Official profiles and owned pages are brought up to date.

  3. 03

    Set up monitoring

Alerts for new reviews, mentions and changes in search results, checked daily or weekly depending on your risk.

  4. 04

    Agree the playbook

Reply templates by situation, approval rules for sensitive replies, and escalation paths to service, legal and leadership.

  5. 05

    Build a positive presence

Review requests are built into every sale or visit. Content, profiles and PR give search results something accurate to show.

  6. 06

    Report

A monthly report on how ratings and replies are moving at each location, and what ranks for your name.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A business with many branches needs each Business Profile kept right, location by location. A direct-to-customer (D2C) brand also watches reviews on marketplaces and its own pages. A founder-led firm watches the founder's name too.

  1. Look before we change anything. You cannot repair what you have not seen, so the audit sorts good, bad and wrong results. A sheet of what shows for your name.
  2. Fix the facts that others copy. Maps, directories and AI answers copy from your Business Profile and site, so a wrong detail spreads. The same name, number and hours everywhere.
  3. Ask every customer at the right moment. A rating built on many real voices is steadier than one built on a few. Review count and rating by location.
  4. Reply as a person, and quickly. The next buyer reads your reply more closely than the reviewer does. Reply times in the monthly report.
  5. Agree the crisis plan before it is needed. In a bad hour nobody has time to decide who speaks. One decision-maker and one holding statement.

Go deeper: the rules and who sets them

India's standard for online reviews

The Bureau of Indian Standards published IS 19000:2022 on how review sites collect, moderate and publish consumer reviews. It is voluntary. The government has said it may make it mandatory if fake reviews continue. Reviews bought, or written by people hired for the purpose, may not be published.

AI in online reputation management: today and next

Today: Gemini and Business Profiles

Google's Gemini app can link to a Business Profile. It drafts a reply to a review in the brand's voice and sums up feedback. Google said on 10 June 2026 that it was rolling out worldwide, except the EEA and UK. Its help page says you must manage exactly one verified profile. So a business with many branches cannot use it the same way. Google also reports blocking or removing over 240 million reviews that broke its rules in 2024.

Next

Our view: AI drafts will speed up replies, and a person will still approve each one. Replies never confirm who a customer is. Want a reply playbook for your team? Ask us.

Our beliefWe believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of ORM.

We don't publish a price list. Monthly management is priced by the number of locations and names we watch. Monitoring tool subscriptions and any PR or content work are scoped separately. Audit and set-up, and crisis support, can be quoted on their own. We send the quote within 2 working days.

What affects the cost

  • Number of locations and Business Profiles, and names monitored
  • Review and mention volume, and how fast replies are needed
  • Content and PR work to improve search results for your name
  • Crisis support: the hours covered and the response time

How we quote

  1. We ask which locations and names matter, and what is hurting your reputation today
  2. We check your Business Profiles, review scores and what shows when someone searches your name
  3. We write a scope: names and locations, reply times, content work and crisis cover
  4. You get a quote with monitoring, content or PR work and crisis support on separate lines

What you get in the quote

  • The audit of reviews, mentions and search results for your name
  • The list of locations and names we monitor
  • A reply playbook and the agreed reply times
  • Content or PR work, if you choose it, crisis cover with hours written down, and the monthly report

We will never price by the number of reviews removed, because that is not something an honest agency sells.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Straight answers.

  • ORM is the work of shaping what people find when they search for your business or leaders. That means your Google rating and reviews, Business Profile, page one of search, and social and news mentions. Done honestly, it means real reviews, fair replies and accurate pages, never fake reviews.

  • Ask every customer at the right moment, with little effort. Use a review link or QR code after delivery or a resolved request. Google doesn't allow incentives, so we never offer them. Nobody honest can remove genuine negative reviews. Policy-breaking ones can be reported. Genuine ones should be answered and learned from.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India and talks to you daily. We meet you at least every three months and place a team member at your site when needed. Reviews and Profiles are managed online for every location; urgent replies follow agreed approval rules.

  • You get a monthly report. It shows rating and review volume by location, reply times, sentiment and what ranks for your name. Replies and Profile fixes work within days. Ratings shift over a few months, and page-one changes take longer. Monitoring uses platform alerts, Google Alerts and a listening tool, checked daily or weekly.

  • Agree one decision-maker and one holding statement quickly, and get the facts before saying more. Respond the same way on every channel, and don't delete comments or argue in public. A plan agreed in advance makes it easier; it is part of our set-up.

  • Yes. We audit what appears for their names and bring profiles and bios up to date. Then we build credible presence through interviews, articles and LinkedIn. Founders approve everything published in their name. We don't hide true news; we make accurate, current pages rank beside it.

  • Thank the reviewer, apologise for a poor experience where it fits, and invite them to call a named desk. Never confirm that someone was a patient or discuss treatment in public. We write reply templates with your medical and legal teams before anything goes out.

  • It depends on how many locations and names we monitor and on review and mention volume. It also depends on how much content and PR work is needed, and whether crisis support is included. We don't publish a price list; we quote after a first conversation, against a written scope.
