Ahmedabad buys in two ways, company to company and family to shop. One channel rarely reaches both. Search, ads, websites, Gujarati papers, radio and trade-show stalls, run by a team across India. Every month you see which channel brought each enquiry.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Ahmedabad firms sell to two groups, other companies and families. Each group needs its own mix of channels.
PromotEdge is a digital marketing company for factories, pharma firms, builders and shops. It helps them get found on Google, run ads that bring enquiries, and reach Gujarati readers. Every rupee is matched to the leads it brought.
Company buyers, such as a pharma buyer or an exporter abroad, read your website line by line before writing in. They need search, LinkedIn and a strong website. Families shop hardest from Navratri to the Gujarati New Year. They add Gujarati ads, papers, radio and boards.
The area run by AMC (the Amdavad Municipal Corporation) had 55,77,940 people in Census 2011. The district's history page says textile mills earned it the nickname "The Manchester of India". Today buyers also sit in Sanand's chip plants and in GIFT City, next door in Gandhinagar.
Three kinds of business come to us most: makers selling to firms and builders filling a project. Shops and jewellers sell to families. Each starts in a different place.
The state's investment portal lists six sectors. These are automobile and engineering; gems and jewellery; textiles and apparels; agro and food processing; chemicals, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals; and information technology. For textiles it gives 35% of cotton production and 12% of India's textile exports. For pharma it gives 42% of India's pharma turnover. The portal does not date these figures.
Zydus, Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Intas Pharmaceuticals each give an Ahmedabad head, registered or corporate office. At Sanand, Micron opened a chip assembly and test plant on 28 February 2026. Its stated outlay was more than 22,500 crore rupees. CG Semi opened another on 4 July 2026. Maruti Suzuki says its Hansalpur facility in Gujarat reached 1 million cars a year of capacity. Its fourth plant started on 30 July 2026. Gujarat had 19,270+ DPIIT-recognised startups on 31 March 2026, fifth among states.
Next door, IFSCA, GIFT City's regulator, has its headquarters in Gandhinagar. It counted 1,260 registrations by June 2026.

Nirma's own page gives its address as Nirma House, Ashram Road. It lists industrial chemicals such as soda ash and caustic soda beside detergent and soap. Arvind Ltd, in textiles and apparel including denim, gives its headquarters on Naroda Road. Zydus says it is headquartered in Ahmedabad.

Palladium on SG Highway opened in February 2023 with over 250 brands. Nexus Ahmedabad One, Vastrapur, reports 24 lakh visitors in April to June 2026. A mall promotion and nearby search ads can work as one store launch.
In January, Uttarayan fills the sky with kites. The 2026 Kite Festival ran on the Sabarmati Riverfront. For events and travel: Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, covers 63 acres. Amdavad will host the 2030 Commonwealth Games. The airport handled 1,38,22,287 passengers in 2025-26. Metro Phase 2 to Gandhinagar fully opened on 11 January 2026. Metro train ad rights were awarded in February 2026.

The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) says it works "to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry and trade in Gujarat".

Meta says its Advantage+ tools apply AI across a campaign's audience, placement and budget. Google says Performance Max reaches YouTube, Search, Display and Maps from one campaign. TechCrunch reported on 8 October 2025 that Google's AI Mode covers Hindi and seven more Indian languages. Gujarati was not on that list.
So check the current list before you rely on AI search for Gujarati buyers. Meanwhile we would give the ad tools clean enquiry data first. We would also have a native reader check every Gujarati line.

Our view: AI search will reach more languages, and ad tools will do more of the setting. See how we use AI and automation or ask us where it fits yours.
With strict outdoor rules in Ahmedabad, is your media planned or just bought?
02Can an Ahmedabad buyer find you on Google before they call?
03Your next buyer may sit in Frankfurt or Vastrapur. Can they check your site fast?
04Does your Ahmedabad feed follow the city's festival clock and your buyer's language?
05Can a buyer say in one line what your Ahmedabad firm is known for?
06A hoarding gets a glance. Can your Ahmedabad design carry the offer in it?
07Likes do not pay the bills. Which Ahmedabad ad brought a call or a quote?
08A film often meets the Ahmedabad buyer before you do. What will it answer?
09Gujarat's buyers like to meet face to face. Is your event built around them?
10No honest agency can promise a story in print. What would an editor want from you?
Factories, phones and festivals decide where money goes first.
1. A state built on making things. PRS Legislative Research puts Gujarat's GSDP for 2026-27 at about Rs 33.25 lakh crore. That budget forecast is 11% above the year before. GSDP is the value of everything the state produces in a year. In 2024-25, manufacturing made up 43.9% of it, far more than in most states. Such buyers judge you on Google long before they meet you.
2. Gujarati papers, and a state that is online. Ahmedabad is home to two old Gujarati dailies, Sandesh (founded in 1923) and Gujarat Samachar (1932). Divya Bhaskar launched here in 2003. TRAI (the telecom regulator) counted 62.78 million internet subscribers in Gujarat state in March 2026. That is 84.67 for every 100 people. One family may read a Gujarati paper at breakfast and search on the phone at night.
3. A festival run that starts now. UNESCO added Garba of Gujarat, the circle dance of Navratri, to its world heritage list in 2023. Navratri falls in the nine nights before Dussehra on 20 October. Then come Sardar Patel Jayanti on 31 October and Diwali on 8 November. Bestu Varas, the Gujarati New Year, falls on 10 November 2026. Shops and builders sell much of their year in these weeks.

| What | In Ahmedabad | What it means for your plan |
|---|---|---|
| Radio | Six private stations are on the government list of 30 March 2026: 91.1, 93.5, 94.3, 95.0, 98.3 and 104.0 MHz. None is for Gandhinagar. Akashvani: primary channel 846 kHz and Vividh Bharati 96.7 MHz. It is listed at Rs 500 gross for 10 seconds in top slots on the 2017 government card (its rate, not ours). | Ask how far each station is heard. |
| Papers | Sandesh and Gujarat Samachar are based here and are not ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) members. Divya Bhaskar, launched here in June 2003, is a member. The Times of India, The Economic Times, Rajasthan Patrika and Gujarat Vaibhav have Ahmedabad editions on the ABC list. Ahmedabad Mirror and NavGujarat Samay are Shayona Times papers. | The Gujarati paper is still a daily habit for homes and shop owners. |
| AMC outdoor policy, 2023 | Approved in December 2023. AMC's own sites go to the highest bidder in an open tender. Road boards can be 9.0 m x 4.5 m. On roads over 60 m wide they can be 12.0 m x 6.0 m. AMC's yearly licence on private property is Rs 1,000 per sq m in the East and North zones. It is Rs 4,000 on CG Road. LED screens are allowed case by case; flickering ads are not. | Ask if a site is AMC's or private. Screen ads must work when still. |
| Safety and heritage | Boards need a yearly safety certificate. In May 2024 AMC asked for certificates for 2,135 hoardings. In August 2024 the High Court heard 84 illegal or unsafe ones had gone. Gujarat Tourism calls Ahmedabad a UNESCO World Heritage City. The 2023 policy bans ads on heritage buildings and places of worship. | Ask for this year's certificate and the AMC permit. |
| Halls and venues | Mahatma Mandir, next door in Gandhinagar, has a 5,500-seat main hall and 3 exhibition halls (2022 factsheet). | Plan the stall, follow-up ads and landing page together. |
Sources as cited, checked 4 October 2026. AMC's notice page still uses draft wording and we found no gazette notice. Rupee figures are AMC's and the radio card's, not ours.

Brands are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.
We don't publish a price list. We look at your business first and marketing second. Ad spend, media, stalls, shoots and travel are paid at actual cost, each approved by you first.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India and runs your work remotely. We visit Ahmedabad regularly. We place our team at your shop or plant when a launch or a stall needs it.
One team. SEO (search engine optimisation: showing up on Google without paying per click), advertising, digital marketing and BTL (below the line: stalls, events and shop branding). Your Divya Bhaskar ad, Google listing and trade-show stall then say the same thing.
Papers, radio, boards and stalls. We book Gujarati and English papers, FM and Akashvani. We use only those outdoor sites whose AMC permit and safety certificate we have seen. Stalls and shoots are delivered within the PromotEdge group by our in-house team of 65+ people.
Language. Our language partners create content in Gujarati, Hindi, English and more. Our team briefs and checks each version.
Our beliefWe're professionals. We'd rather be blunt than pleasing.

Anish Basu MallikMarketing Executive at Unimark Group“PRAN & PromotEdge have been working together for last 1.5 years. Throughout, the work experience is good and satisfactory. As a client, we found PromotEdge very professional and dedicated towards any project assigned to them. …”
Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupIt depends on channels, how much is written in Gujarati, how many pages or ads are made and your ad budget. We don't publish a price list. After we see where your enquiries come from, we quote in writing and keep ad spend apart from the fee.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India. Ahmedabad accounts run on hybrid work with calls, dashboards and monthly reports. We come at least once every three months. Gandhinagar, GIFT City and Sanand are separate areas in your ads.
No honest agency gives itself that title, and we won't. Ask for a real report from a client like you. Ask for a named person on your account, ad spend shown apart, ad accounts in your name, a Gujarati and English plan, and call and form tracking. Also ask what happens if you leave.
It depends on who buys. Shoppers often respond better to Gujarati, in papers like Sandesh and Divya Bhaskar and in ads online. Pharma, finance and export buyers usually read English. Our language partners write the Gujarati side, and our team checks it.
Now. Dussehra is on 20 October, Diwali on 8 November and Bestu Varas on 10 November 2026. Good media slots go early, so book soon. Search and social ads can still start within days. For Uttarayan in January 2027, start in November.
We found no such rule in AMC's 2023 outdoor policy. Each business gets one free board over its front, showing the name and shop number. Signs may cover at most 25% of the front. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Yes. For a housing project that means ads shown to people searching near the site and a clear project page. It also means a site-visit form and fast follow-up. Every enquiry should get a call the same day, while the buyer is still interested. See our real estate marketing page.
A monthly report shows enquiries by channel and area. It also shows your cost per lead: what one enquiry cost on average. Then we say plainly what to stop and what to grow. Next month's budget then goes where the enquiries come from.
