How to do it,step by step

These playbooks explain how to plan and run common marketing jobs in India. They cover building a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, planning an integrated campaign, splitting a budget, choosing an agency, reaching rural buyers and using customer content.

Each one ends in steps you can follow.

They are written for business owners and marketing teams, in plain English, with Indian examples. Where we use numbers, we name the source and date. Where an example is made up to explain an idea, we say so.

Each playbook links to the service that puts it into practice, so you can do it yourself or ask us to help. We'd rather you start small and measure honestly than spend big on a plan you can't track.

Straight answers.

  • Yes. The playbooks are written so your own team can follow them, with steps in plain English. Each one also shows where outside help is useful, such as tracking, creative work or a specialist channel. You can start on your own and ask for help only on the parts where you feel stuck.

  • Start with the playbook closest to your next big decision: a launch, a budget, an agency choice or a new channel. Each takes about ten minutes to read and ends with clear steps. Read one, try its first step for a few weeks, and then come back for the next playbook.

  • A marketing playbook is a step-by-step guide to one marketing job, such as splitting a budget or choosing an agency. It explains the idea, gives Indian examples and ends with steps you can follow. It is written for business owners, so it avoids jargon and explains each term the first time it is used.

  • Each playbook shows the date it was last updated, and we name the source and date for every number. When a rule, rate or platform setting changes, we update the page and say so. Check the date at the top of a playbook before you rely on a figure from it.
