Bengaluru's feed is busy, and a post that does not make someone act is wasted. We count the people who get in touch, not the hearts.

/ 01 Social media marketing agency in Bangalore

A busy, fast city feed, planned with care.

In a fast city like Bangalore, followers mean little unless a post makes someone call, book or apply. PromotEdge plans, writes and runs Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook for startups, tech employers and neighbourhood businesses, so that followers turn into calls, bookings and hires.

Social media marketing is free posts plus paid ads that show them to more of the right people. We plan both and judge them by the enquiries they bring.

Our servicing team in Bangalore plans, writes and designs your posts, hybrid and remote, and visits regularly. Our method is on the social media marketing page; the city is in the Bangalore overview. For the same service elsewhere, see Chennai or Ahmedabad.

/ 02 What we run for Bangalore brands

Social media work,shaped for Bengaluru.

/ 03 Social media in Bangalore

What a Bengaluru brand has to plan for.

Five local facts that change what we post.

Kannada comes first, but not alone. Since a 2024 law, Kannada must fill 60% of every business signboard in Karnataka, in the upper half. Many buyers care about language. Our language partners write the Kannada.

People carry more than one connection. TRAI counted 70.18 million internet subscribers in Karnataka in March 2026: 101.72 per 100 people (India: 76.59), and 150.41 in towns and cities. Posts must work on a small screen, sound off.

Founders everywhere. Karnataka had over 22,600 startups on DPIIT's list on 31 March 2026, second only to Maharashtra. Investors and first hires look up a founder online before they reply.

Tech employers hire all year. A GCC (global capability centre) is a foreign company's own tech unit in India. At its September 2024 GCC policy launch, Karnataka said Bengaluru has "over 30 percent of the country's GCCs" (a launch claim, not our count). For them, LinkedIn is about hiring.

Creators have state rules too. In August 2024 the state's information department (DIPR) issued the Karnataka Digital Advertising Guidelines: digital media and influencers register with DIPR to run state government ads. It covers government campaigns, not private posts.

/ 06 How a Bangalore account runs

Planned across India,timed to Karnataka.

Most accounts go from first call to first live post in three to four weeks.

  1. 01

    Video call (week 1)

We speak with the owner and whoever answers enquiries.

  2. 02

Page check (weeks 1 and 2)

We study your pages and two or three rivals, then send the first three changes. Our job is to impress your customers, not you.

  3. 03

    Language plan (week 2)

We agree which posts run in Kannada and which in English, and who checks the Kannada.

  4. 04

Calendar and shoot list (week 3)

Festivals, launches and trade shows go on one calendar, with the clips we need.

  5. 05

    Every week

We schedule posts. You approve each. Comments get replies every working day.

  6. 06

    Every month

A short report on calls, bookings or hires. Change is the only constant, so we adjust the plan.

Go deeper

More on this

Deeper reading if you want the research behind the plan.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A cafe or clinic wants bookings and walk-ins, so Reels tagged to its area. A software firm wants hires and trust, so LinkedIn. A D2C (direct-to-customer) brand wants sales, so creators and paid boosts. A startup needs its founder visible.

More on languages

Census 2011, as reported, lists Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Hindi as Bengaluru's main mother tongues.

Who sets the rules

ASCI, the ad industry's own standards body, handles ad complaints and lists an influencer resource on its site. Its guidelines on AI-made content in ads, signed 17 September 2026, ask for a label on synthetic influencers and ambassadors, and apply three months after publication.

  1. Fix the language mix in week 2. Kannada and English reach different people, and a native reader catches what a tool misses. A language plan and a named Kannada checker.
  2. Draft festival posts five weeks ahead. Dasara, Rajyotsava and Deepavali posts need shoots and approvals. A calendar with draft dates.
  3. Report on calls, bookings and hires. Followers mean little unless someone acts. One page a month, enquiries first.

AI in social media: today and next

Today

For paid boosts, Meta's tools can write extra versions of your ad text and expand an image to fit Feed and Reels. Meta says some sectors, such as finance and pharma, may not get every feature.

Next

Our view: drafts and resizing will keep getting faster. The Kannada, the tone and the claims still need a person who knows Bengaluru. Want us to show where AI saves time on your account? Ask us.

/ 07 Cost

What affects the cost of social media marketing in Bangalore.

No price list. These things move the number.

Most accounts start with one or two platforms and grow once reports show what works.

What affects the cost

  • Languages. Kannada and English on one post mean two sets of words and two checks.
  • Platforms. LinkedIn alone takes less work than Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn together.
  • Sign-offs. A GCC's head office abroad may approve posts; each round adds time.
  • Video. Phone clips cost less than edited footage or a planned shoot.
  • Creators. Their fee goes to the creator; we find, brief and check.
  • Busy weeks. Extra posts around Dasara, Deepavali or the Tech Summit.

How we quote

  1. A 30-minute video call about your buyers, languages and apps
  2. A written scope: platforms, posts a month, languages, sign-offs
  3. A quote within 2 working days, each part on its own line

What you get in the quote

  • Platforms, posts and videos a month, and the language of each
  • Who checks the Kannada, the sign-off rounds, and a monthly report

Ad money and creator fees are paid at actual cost, shown before you approve. Compare quotes by posts covered, languages and who checks them.

Our beliefThink creative. Act on numbers.

/ 08 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Brands and people are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.

Social media for your Bangalore business

Plan your Deepavali and Tech Summit postswhile there is still time.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Your account is run by our servicing team in Bangalore. We talk daily and share every draft online. We meet in person at least once every three months, and our team can work at your site when a job needs it. Most plans, edits and approvals happen online.

  • We plan for Kannada, because many Bengaluru buyers prefer it for local offers and festivals. English still suits LinkedIn and many startups. We agree the mix and the Kannada checker before the first post, so no line goes out unchecked.

  • For a full campaign, it is too late: a week is not enough to shoot and approve posts. Kannada Rajyotsava on 1 November is tight but possible. Deepavali on 8 November is the first date to plan properly, so tell us your offers now.

  • Yes. If someone already posts for you, we write the plan, language rules and calendar, train your person, and review the work each month, so your person learns what works. You keep the daily posting in-house, and we stay on call.

  • Only for state government ads. Under the 2024 Karnataka Digital Advertising Guidelines, creators register with DIPR to run those. For a private brand, the rule does not apply, but we still check a creator's audience and past paid posts before we book.

  • Saves, shares and replies usually rise within two months. Steady enquiries take three to six months, longer for B2B (business-to-business) firms. Ongoing work has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice. We confirm the timeline in your quote, and update you monthly.

  • We won't claim that, and you should doubt anyone who does. Ask each agency for work in your field with numbers you can check, who writes your Kannada, and what they count as a result. Pick the plainest answers, then ask us the same.

  • Phone clips from your team, edited by us, cover many posts. For a store, office or event shoot, we write the shot list and brief the crew. Our in-house team films, with consultants or partner agencies where a job needs more.
