What we believe
We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.
Locations · Agra · SEO
A hotel near the Taj Mahal, a marble inlay workshop and a shoe maker are found by very different searches. PromotEdge works on all three, and each month you see which enquiries Google sent you.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
An SEO company in Agra earns its keep with a page for each thing a buyer types, not one page for everything. PromotEdge fixes your website, writes those pages and keeps your Google Maps pin correct.
We do it for hotels, guides, craft sellers and shoe makers, so Google brings you bookings and enquiries you can count.
SEO means search engine optimisation: making your pages easy for Google to find and worth showing in its free results. Nobody pays for those clicks, so a page that ranks can keep working for years.
Three people can type into the same search box in Agra. A family in Pune looks for a room near the Taj Mahal. A buyer abroad looks for marble inlay by the piece. A shop owner in another state looks for a shoe maker who can supply her range. Good SEO services in Agra plan a page for each of them. We know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business.
We open your main pages on an everyday phone over mobile data, as a visitor would. You get a fix list, costliest problem first.
02For hotels and restaurants: one page per room type or tour, naming the nearest sight and the distance, with a clear way to book.
03One English page per shoe style or craft line, with sizes, materials, the smallest order and a quote form. Buyers abroad find you by product.
04Local shoppers often search in Hindi. Visitors and trade buyers search in English. Our language partners write the version each needs, not a tool.
05The pin on the right lane, the right category and real hours, with fresh photos. A shop with several branches gets one correct listing for each.
06A place on a trade body's member page, where one exists, and clean entries on the directories your buyers use.
07Calls, forms, WhatsApp chats and booking requests from Google, counted each month. Enquiries from abroad get their own line.
We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.
Each one changes which pages we write first. Two are below, and three more are in the fold after them.
1. Visitors search by the name of a sight. The district's tourism page puts Agra on the Golden Triangle and the Uttar Pradesh Heritage Arc. It names four main sights, starting with the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. A traveller types a sight beside the word stay or guide. So a hotel page should name the nearest sight and say how far it is. Our hotels and resorts page says more.
2. Trade buyers search by product. The district says Agra can make more than 1.5 lakh pairs of shoes a day, and about 70 units export them. Handicrafts add 116 exporting units. A buyer abroad types a material, a size or a product line, not your firm's name. A maker's catalogue needs a page for each.
The other three of the five things that decide how Agra gets found, with their sources.
3. Phones carry the search, and Hindi carries the talk. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 62.82 internet subscribers for every 100 people in Uttar Pradesh in March 2026. The figure for India was 76.59. That is a state figure, not Agra's. In the 2011 Census, Hindi was the mother tongue of 97.4% of the district, Wikipedia reports. So pages must open fast on a phone and speak Hindi first.
4. Three goods have their own search words. The One District One Product portal lists stone and marble engraving, leather and footwear, and petha for Agra. People type the goods and the sight together, as in a craft near the Taj Mahal. A shop that names both on one page is easier to find than a shop that names neither.
5. Trade bodies can vouch for you. The footwear chamber AFMEC runs its own website. The One District One Product page also lists a working common facility centre for these goods, run by the J.D. Welfare Society. A listing or link from a body like these helps buyers, and Google, see that your firm is real and local.
Agra sells to visitors and to trade buyers far away, and most of its people speak Hindi at home. Write pages for someone who has never been here: which sight is nearest and how to reach you. Name the nearest sight on your contact page.
| What we checked | The public record | How it shapes your SEO |
|---|---|---|
| People online | Uttar Pradesh, March 2026: 152.67 million internet subscribers, or 62.82 per 100 people, against 76.59 for India (TRAI). A state figure, not Agra's. | Light pages for mobile data, with the call button in easy reach. |
| Visitor route | The Golden Triangle and the Uttar Pradesh Heritage Arc. Agra is 206 km south of New Delhi and 378 km west of Lucknow (district website). | Say how far you are from the nearest sight and from New Delhi. |
| Opening day | Wikipedia says the Taj Mahal is open every day except Friday, from an hour before sunrise to 45 minutes before sunset. | A stay or guide page can help guests plan around it. Check the official ticket page before you print it. |
| Shoes | More than 1.5 lakh pairs a day, from about 60 organised units, 3,000 tiny units and 30,000 household units. About 70 units export (district website, no year given). | English catalogue pages by style and material, with one quote form for several items. |
| Handicrafts | About 13,000 people work in zari-zardozi, in marble and stone work, and in carpets. 116 units export (district website, no year given). | One page per craft, with close-up photos and the smallest order you accept. |
| Three known goods | The One District One Product portal lists marble engraving, leather and footwear, and petha. We found no official GI tag for petha. A GI is a legal tag tying a product to its place. | Use the words buyers already use. We never claim a GI tag that has not been confirmed. |
| Footwear chamber | AFMEC, the Agra Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Chamber, runs afmec.org and describes itself as a "Sector Catalyst in influencing policy decisions". | If it lists members online, ask to be on that page. Naming it does not make it our partner. |
| Languages | Census 2011, district mother tongue: Hindi 97.4%, Braj Bhasha 1.27%, others 1.35% (Wikipedia). | Hindi for local shoppers. English for visitors from abroad and trade buyers. |
| Local papers | Three Hindi dailies belong to the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), which checks paper sales, and have an Agra edition. | Real news about you in these papers helps buyers and Google link your name to Agra. |
| The craft fair | Taj Mahotsav runs 10 days at Shilpgram, with about 400 artisans (Wikipedia). Past editions ran in February. We found no 2027 dates. | Season pages go live three to six months ahead. For February 2027, that window is closing. |
Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026 (the footwear chamber on 10 October 2026). The internet row covers the whole state. District figures carry no year on the district's website. Rows marked Wikipedia are there because no official page was found. Bodies are named as part of the city, not as PromotEdge clients or partners.

How we work with you, and all five steps from the first call to the monthly count.
A straight word on how we work: our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We're in touch every day by call and video, and we meet you in Agra at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site. Our full method is on the national SEO services page, and the wider city picture is on our Agra overview.
We don't publish a price list. After a first call we write down the scope, then quote for it. Any translation or ad money sits on its own line, shown before you agree.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Monthly retainer | Fixes and new pages, with a report every month; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
| One-time check | A full site check with a fix list your own developer can follow; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Season project | Visitor or catalogue pages with an end date, then a choice to continue; timeline confirmed in the quote |
Two more things that can change your quote, and a tip for comparing quotes.
How many shops, hotels or workshops need a correct Maps listing.
How much your site needs fixing, and whether your developer or ours does it.
Comparing Agra quotes? Ask whether Hindi pages are included, how many listings are covered, and whether the report counts enquiries or only rankings.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. Local shoppers often search in Hindi. It is the mother tongue of 97.4% of the district in the 2011 Census, Wikipedia reports. Foreign guests and trade buyers search in English. Many hotels and craft sellers need both versions of key pages, not of every page. Our language partners write both.
Yes, one for each shop, with its own address and phone number. A visitor searching near a sight needs the nearest shop, and Google shows places, not brands. Four correct listings that match your website beat one muddled listing. We set up or fix each one, then count the calls it brings.
It can. Buyers search for a craft and a piece, not your workshop's name. So each craft needs its own page with close-up photos and sizes, plus your smallest order. Walk-in visitors find you through Maps, and buyers abroad find the catalogue. Your monthly report counts both.
Wikipedia lists past editions of the fair in February, and we found no 2027 dates. SEO usually shows results in 3 to 6 months, so a brand-new page for February is a tight fit. Refresh your Maps listing now and consider ads. Pages written today are better aimed at the season after.
Ask every company, us included, for a page it ranked in your trade and the enquiries it brought, not a screenshot of one keyword. Ask whether Hindi pages are included, who owns your Google accounts, and whether the report counts enquiries or only rankings. Choose the plainest answers.
