/ 01 Advertising agency in Agra

Hindi press and outdoor, checked before they run.

An advertising agency in Agra earns its fee before any ad runs. It checks each outdoor site against the law around the monuments, and picks the Hindi paper or FM station your buyer really uses.

PromotEdge plans and books press and radio ads and licensed outdoor sites for Agra's hotels and shops, then counts the enquiries each one brings.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We come to Agra for planning days and launches, and to review with you at least every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

This page covers only what is different about Agra. Our advertising service page explains how we plan mainline media anywhere. Outdoor, or OOH (out of home), here means hoardings and screens people pass in the street. The Agra overview covers search and social media.

/ 03 Why Agra needs its own plan

Five facts that shape an Agra media plan.

Each comes from a public source, checked on 4 October 2026. The first two are here. Three more are in the fold below.

Monuments set the rules for outdoor. A 2010 law bars building within 100 metres of a protected monument. Work in the next 200 metres goes to the National Monuments Authority (NMA) for advice. The law's text never uses the word hoarding. So in our view, any board near the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort or Fatehpur Sikri needs a written answer from the competent authority first.

Hindi print and local FM carry the town. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) audits paper sales. It lists Dainik Jagran and Hindustan with Agra editions, and Amar Ujala too. All three are in Hindi. The government's list of 30 March 2026 shows four private FM stations for Agra. Together they decide where a family hears about you.

Our beliefWe use AI to save your team's time. A person still makes the decision.

Three more facts: the visitor route, the February craft fair and the three goods Agra is known for.

The Agra market for advertising

3. Visitors arrive on a set route. The district's tourism page puts Agra on the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) and on the Uttar Pradesh Heritage Arc (Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi). It names four main sights, starting with the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. A hotel, a guide or a craft shop is advertising to people already on a trip. Our travel and tourism page shows how those buyers decide.

4. One fair marks the craft calendar. Taj Mahotsav is a crafts and culture fair held for 10 days at Shilpgram. About 400 artisans show wood and stone carving, marble work, zardozi (gold-thread embroidery), carpets, pottery and silk. Wikipedia lists past editions in February, and the dates move from year to year. So we fix a craft seller's press or FM burst only after the dates are confirmed.

5. Agra is known for three goods. The state's One District One Product portal lists stone and marble engraving handicrafts, leather and footwear, and the petha industry for Agra. Petha is a soft sweet made from ash gourd. Visitors expect to find these goods, so a shop's board and its Google listing should say plainly which one it sells.

/ 04 Agra's media and rules

What is on offer, and what needs care.

Agra has three Hindi dailies, four private FM stations and a law that limits building near the Taj Mahal and other monuments. The law's text does not mention hoardings, so get a written answer before you book a site near one.

ItemWhat the public record saysHow we use it
Hindi dailiesThe three papers above are ABC members with an Agra edition. All three are in Hindi.First choice for families. We ask each paper for its own reach data, so no readership figure is used here.
Private FM91.9, 92.7, 93.7 and 94.5 MHz. Agra is category B on the ministry's list of 30 March 2026.Choose by listener and hour, then compare each station's written rate.
AkashvaniPrimary channel, 1530 kHz: Rs 500 per 10 seconds in film and music shows, Rs 300 in spoken-word shows. These are gross rates on the government card of 1 June 2017, not our prices. We ask for today's rate.
Monument areasThe 2010 Act sets a prohibited area of 100 m from a protected monument, then a regulated area of 200 m more. The government can set larger distances for a monument. We treat anything within 300 m of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort or Fatehpur Sikri as needing a check.
Who decidesA competent authority, the officer the government names, sends the file to the NMA within 15 days. The NMA replies in 2 months, and the authority then decides in 1 month. Online applications go through the NOAPS portal from 1 July 2025.If a site needs this route, the full wait goes into your dates.
Hoardings and the ActThe text speaks of construction and renovation. The words hoarding and advertisement do not appear. We found no published Agra municipal hoarding rules on 4 October 2026.We ask the authority first, and we quote no rule or rate we cannot show.
Taj MahotsavA yearly 10-day crafts and culture fair at Shilpgram, with about 400 artisans (Wikipedia). Past editions ran in February. The district's own page for it did not open.We confirm each year's dates before booking press or radio around the fair.
Agra MetroWikipedia says the first stretch, about 6 km with 6 stations from Mankameshwar Mandir to Taj East Gate, opened on 6 March 2024. The operator's own pages did not open. Before we suggest metro space, we ask the operator what is for sale and on what rules.
Airport2,57,031 passengers from April 2025 to March 2026, up 52.7% from 1,68,362 (Airports Authority of India).A small airport that is growing. We check what space it really sells.

Rows checked against their sources on 4 October 2026. Naming a paper or station does not make it our partner. Rows marked Wikipedia are there because the official page did not open. The monument rows are not legal advice.

/ 05 How an Agra campaign runs

From first callto counted enquiries.

The full steps are in the fold below.

  1. 01

    Start with the buyer

Who buys from you, where they live or stay, which paper or station they use, and your key date.

  2. 02

    Choose the media

The Hindi papers and stations that fit, and outdoor only on sites with written permission.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

The rest of the steps, from clearing each site to counting what came back.

How the work runs in Agra

Clear each site

The owner's papers for every outdoor site. For one near a monument, a written answer from the competent authority, with its dates in your plan. Printing is handled through the same partner.

Write, then book

One idea, written fresh in Hindi by our language partners, and sized for each paper and each spot. Think creative. Act on numbers. Nothing is booked before your yes.

Count what came back

A phone number, QR code or offer code used nowhere else, for each medium. Your report shows the cost per enquiry from each.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of advertising in Agra.

We keep our rates off this page by choice. After one conversation we write the scope and quote against it. Space, airtime, sites, printing and mounting are billed at the owner's or supplier's price, shown before you approve.

What affects the cost

  • Language: Hindi, English or both; each adds a script and sometimes a paper
  • Papers and radio: which dailies and which day; how many of the four private stations, and whether Akashvani is added
  • Outdoor: a site near a monument adds a permission step, and some sites can't be used
  • Timing: the February fair and your own busy weeks decide how early we book

How we quote

  1. A first call and a written media plan naming each paper and station, and each site, with reasons
  2. Written permission for each outdoor site, checked before it enters the quote
  3. A written line-by-line quote within 2 working days of that first call, which you can approve, trim or turn down

What you get in the quote

  • Each paper, edition, ad size and date
  • Each station, time band and spot count
  • Each outdoor site, its size and permission on file

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Season burstOne push, such as the February fair or a showroom opening; timeline confirmed in the quote
Monthly retainerReleases through the year, with a monthly enquiry report; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop
/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Planning an Agra campaign?

Tell us your busiest weeks. We'll show what Agra media can do by then.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. Calls and shared reports keep us in touch every day, and we meet you in Agra at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

  • Dainik Jagran and Hindustan carry Agra editions, as does Amar Ujala, and all three belong to the ABC. We can't rank them without numbers. So we ask each paper for its reach in your area on your day, then run a small test and compare the cost of each enquiry.

  • It depends on the station, the hour, the spot length and the weeks on air. The government card of 1 June 2017 lists Akashvani's Agra primary channel at Rs 500 per 10-second spot in film and music shows and Rs 300 in spoken-word shows. The four private stations quote their own rates, in writing.

  • Where the building route applies, the competent authority sends the file to the NMA within 15 days. The NMA replies in 2 months, and the authority then decides in 1 month. The Act never mentions hoardings, so ask first, and allow for the full wait. General guidance, not legal advice.

  • Past editions of the 10-day crafts fair at Shilpgram ran in February. Wikipedia gives no date for 2027, and dates move each year. Press and radio can usually be booked within days, but outdoor takes longer. So confirm the dates in December, then book.

  • Ask every agency, including us, three things. Which Hindi paper or station suits my buyer, and why? Can you show written permission for each outdoor site, and the authority's answer if it is near a monument? Will my report count enquiries by medium? Pick the one with plain answers.
