A Maps listing that matches
Your Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows on Google Maps. We set its category, hours and photos, and name a landmark people know, such as the nearest metro station.

A site that is slow on a phone loses the call, however well it is written. PromotEdge does search work for Indore's shops, clinics, startups and suppliers, and every month you see which enquiries Google sent, page by page and language by language.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
In Indore, buyers search in Hindi on a phone or in English on a laptop, and a site that answers only one of them loses the other. PromotEdge writes pages in the words your buyers type, in Hindi or English, and fixes what makes your site slow on a phone.
We do it for shops, clinics, startups and suppliers, so that people searching for what you sell find you and call.
SEO (search engine optimisation) means earning a higher place for your website in Google's free results. In Indore it runs on two tracks. A family looking for a dentist may search in Hindi, on a phone. A firm in Hyderabad looking for a software partner will search in English, on a laptop. Useful SEO services in Indore plan for both, then show you which one brings paying customers.
One honest point early on, about how we work. Since 2015 we have worked with Indian brands. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode.
For the city's bigger picture, read our Indore overview. The national SEO services page explains our method anywhere in India. This page sticks to what is different about search in Indore.
We load the pages that matter on a basic Android phone over mobile data, as a newer user in a nearby town would. The costliest problems go first on the fix list.
02Pages for local buyers in plain Hindi, built around the words your callers really use. Our language partners write them, never as a machine translation of your English page.
03For startups, IT firms and suppliers: one page per service and per industry you serve, each with a project or client you are allowed to name.
Your Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows on Google Maps. We set its category, hours and photos, and name a landmark people know, such as the nearest metro station.
Investors and clients will type your firm's name. Your site and your listing should answer them clearly.
Clear facts and short answers on your pages help Google's AI answers and ChatGPT describe your business correctly.
A real story about you in a Hindi or English paper links your name with Indore. We never buy links.
Every month we count the calls, forms and WhatsApp chats that came through Google. Hindi and English pages each get a line, so you see which language pays.
Each comes from a public record, checked on 4 October 2026. The first is here; three more are in the fold below.
1. Indore searches in Hindi first. The district administration lists Hindi as Indore's language, and places the city on the Malwa plateau. People type Hindi in two ways: in Hindi script, or in English letters. A clinic or shop page should match the way its own callers speak. Business buyers and investors still search in English. So most Indore firms need some pages in each language.
Three more public records: new internet users, startups and the Super Corridor.
2. Many buyers are new to the internet, and more are coming. TRAI, the telecom regulator, counted 55.76 million internet subscribers in Madhya Pradesh as of March 2026. That works out to 62.13 for every 100 people, below the all-India figure of 76.59. In the state's rural areas it was 36.74 per 100. These are state figures; TRAI gives none for Indore alone. For you, it means more people start searching every year, many on a low-cost phone. A heavy page loses them before they see your name.
3. A startup's first buyers often meet it on Google. The Madhya Pradesh startup portal showed 5,960 startups recognised by DPIIT, with no date given. DPIIT is the central government department that gives startups official recognition. The policy the portal lists is the MP Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme 2022. Clients and investors look a founder up before the meeting. A few clear pages on what you do, for whom and with what proof matter more than a big site.
4. The Super Corridor brings national IT names to Indore. In February 2014, Business Today reported that Infosys would build on 130 acres on Indore's Super Corridor, and that TCS was setting up on 100 acres there. On 16 September 2026, Infosys announced a new software block on its campus. A published copy of the release says the Indore centre has more than 3,300 employees. A smaller IT services firm in the city competes in English with firms from every metro, so wide terms like "software company" rarely pay. Pages built around one service and one project you can name stand a fairer chance. The cards below turn these four points into work.
The district office calls Indore the state's commercial capital. Traders from nearby towns look for suppliers here. So say what you deliver, and where. Name only the areas you really serve, and test your key pages on mobile data.
| Indore fact | What the source says | What we do about it |
|---|---|---|
| Internet users | Madhya Pradesh, March 2026: 32.46 million urban and 23.30 million rural internet subscribers (TRAI). | Test key pages over mobile data, not office Wi-Fi. |
| The district | 32,76,697 people in Census 2011, 24,27,709 of them urban. One municipal corporation, 8 town councils and 676 villages. | Name only the areas you truly serve, on your pages and your listing. |
| Trade role | The district administration calls Indore "the commercial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh". | Traders from nearby towns search for Indore suppliers. Say what you deliver, and where. |
| Startups | 5,960 DPIIT-recognised startups on the state portal (no date shown). | Five or six strong pages before you pitch, not fifty thin ones. |
| Soybean processing | SOPA, the Soybean Processors Association of India, was set up in 1979 with its headquarters at Indore. | English product pages for buyers in other states and abroad. See our manufacturing work. |
| Vehicle testing | NATRAX, the national vehicle-testing centre, covers about 3,000 acres near Pithampur, 50 km from Indore. | Parts suppliers: a page per capability, written for engineers. See our automotive work. |
| Metro | About 17 km of Indore Metro was open by September 2026. | New stations become landmarks. A shop near one should name it in its listing. |
| Food streets | MP Tourism: "Sarafa Bazar is a hotspot for foodies at night"; by day it is a jewellery market. | Restaurants: correct night hours and real photos on Maps. |
| Local papers | Dainik Bhaskar's Indore edition dates from 5 March 1983. Free Press and The Times of India also have Indore editions on the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) list. | Real news about you in these papers helps Google link your name with Indore. |
Every row names its source; all were checked on 4 October 2026. The TRAI numbers are for the whole state. None of the bodies, firms or papers named here is a PromotEdge client or partner. Next: how a plan starts.
More steps are in the fold below.

The rest of the steps, from the phone test to the monthly report.
We test the pages that matter on a basic phone, and collect the words buyers use in both languages.
Fixes go live first. Then four or five pages in the language most of your buyers use. Every business is different, so we don't copy a rival's plan.
We compare enquiries page by page and language by language. More pages go where enquiries came from. Pages that bring nothing get rewritten.
A short report shows the enquiries Google brought, by page and by language. We meet you in Indore at least once every three months. Cost questions come next.
Our beliefWe know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business.

We speak every day over calls and shared files, and come to Indore at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.
Mostly three things. It fixes what stops Google from reading your site. It writes pages that answer what your buyers search, in Hindi or English. It keeps your Google Maps listing correct. Then it counts the enquiries, so you see what the work brought.
Listen to your phone calls. If most callers speak Hindi, your key local pages should be in Hindi too. If you sell to other states, English comes first. Most firms need a few key pages in both, not two full websites. Our language partners write the Hindi, and Marathi, Gujarati or other Indian languages if you sell there.
Doubt any firm that claims to beat every rival in the city; there is no fair test for that. Give each company, us included, one service you sell. Ask which searches they would target, in which language, and why. A report of rankings alone tells you little.
Before your first big pitch. Investors and early clients will search your name. Start with five or six pages: what you do, for whom, proof, the founders and how to reach you. Ask for our free plan, a 30-minute call with one of our strategists and a one-page plan, to set the order.
For many food shops it is the most useful start. Hungry people search on Maps, often late at night. Set the correct night hours, add real photos and ask happy customers for reviews. A website can come later; a one-page plan from a 30-minute strategist call shows when.
