“Friday night has a queue. Tuesday lunch, half our tables are empty.”
Give one slow slot a reason to visit, like a set lunch for offices, with Meta ads shown nearby just before that meal.

Fill the slow hours, and turn first visits into regulars.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A busy Saturday hides the real problem, which is the slow Tuesday and the first-time guest who never came back. PromotEdge plans marketing for dine-in restaurants, QSRs (quick service restaurants) and cafés around covers, the average bill and repeat diners.
The aim is fuller tables on slow days, delivery orders that make money, and first-time guests who come back.
A QSR is where you order at the counter and get food in minutes, like a burger, roll or biryani chain. A dine-in restaurant sells an occasion. A café sells a place to sit, meet or work. Each needs its own plan.
We count what your cash counter counts. Covers are the number of diners served. The average bill is what one bill comes to. Repeat diners are guests who have eaten with you before. Your POS (point-of-sale) billing system holds most of this.
The wider picture, with hotels and travel, is on our hospitality marketing page.

Change is the only constant.
Food services is a large market, and only a small part of it is online. A few bill and menu rules apply to every outlet.
IBEF, citing Redseer Consulting, puts India's food services market at about Rs 7.95 lakh crore in FY26, with 11 percent of it online. On service charge, the Delhi High Court upheld the CCPA's guidelines on 28 March 2025, and the CCPA acted against 41 restaurants in July 2026.

Our view: diners search near them, check photos and star ratings, then walk in or order within minutes. Families look at prices and veg options first. They drop out at an old photo, a wrong closing time or a phone that rings unanswered.
You can print your licence number on bills, show allergens and the veg or non-veg logo where the rules ask, and reply to every review. Delivery app fees and listing rules are set by the apps, not by us.

We read a few months of billing by day and hour first, because that shows the slow slots. We test one fix for four weeks, because a short test costs little. We report covers, average bill, repeat diners and delivery margin, because those four show if it paid.
NRAI: the National Restaurant Association of India calls itself the voice of the Indian restaurant industry. It has a member directory and an India Food Services report.
FSSAI: India's food safety authority. Its orders and FAQs set the licence and bill rules above.
FHRAI: calls itself the apex body of the Indian hospitality industry, for hotels and restaurants.

Opening a new outlet soon? Let's plan the six weeks before the doors open. Plan the opening
“Friday night has a queue. Tuesday lunch, half our tables are empty.”
Give one slow slot a reason to visit, like a set lunch for offices, with Meta ads shown nearby just before that meal.
“Delivery orders keep rising, and we make almost nothing on them.”
Work out what you keep per dish, then build a shorter delivery menu of dishes that travel well and pay. App ads run only on those.
“Regulars stop coming, and we never find out why.”
Ask regulars for a number at billing, with a clear yes for WhatsApp. Then send birthday notes and a gentle message after a long gap.
“I add up billing, apps and the ad bill on Sunday night, and still don't know what we earned.”
Use one weekly sheet: covers, average bill, repeat diners and delivery margin.
Which hour is slowest, lunch or Tuesday dinner? Tell us, and we'll tell you which fix we'd test first. Name your slow hour
We don't publish a price list. We quote against a written scope. Ad spend, shoots, creator fees and event costs are billed at actuals.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Launch push | One outlet, menu or season (timeline confirmed in the quote) |
| Monthly retainer | Profiles, reviews, ads and the report (minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop) |
We check these rules before a campaign goes live.
Licence number on every bill. An FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) order of 8 June 2021 asks every food business to print its 14-digit licence or registration number on bills.
Menus. FSSAI's 2020 rules: chains with a Central licence or 10 or more outlets show calories per serving. Menus also show allergens and the veg or non-veg logo.
Service charge. CCPA, July 2022: it cannot be added to the bill by default, and diners must be told it is voluntary. The Delhi High Court upheld this on 28 March 2025.
Reviews and numbers. Google bans offering anything for a review. WhatsApp allows messages only to people who opted in, and the DPDP (Digital Personal Data Protection) Rules, 2025 expect a clear consent notice.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupIt plans and runs the work that brings diners in and brings them back. Digital marketing for restaurants is a big part: your Google profile, reviews, Instagram, ads and delivery apps. Menus, photos and launches are the rest. A useful agency starts from your covers and margins.
A QSR sells speed, value and habit, so the marketing works on how often people return: office lunches, students, combos and delivery. A dine-in restaurant sells occasions, so photos, reviews and bookings matter more. A café sells a place to sit, so the room and its regulars matter most.
It depends on your outlets, the delivery apps and how much content you need. We don't publish a price list. After a free 30-minute call we send a one-page plan, and a written quote follows within 2 working days. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
Yes. SEO (search engine optimisation) for a restaurant is mostly local, so your Google profile, reviews and photos do most of the work. AI answers can only describe what they can read about you, so keep the menu and hours as text. Our SEO for hotels and restaurants page goes deeper.
Yes, as long as the post is clearly labelled. Under ASCI's influencer guidelines, a free meal is a material connection, so the post needs a label such as "Ad" or "Free gift". The brand shares responsibility, so write the label into your brief. Don't ask for a Google review in return. General guidance, not legal advice.
