/ 01 Brand identity design agency

Look like one company, wherever buyers meet you.

A company often grows while its card, website and dealer board still look like three different companies. PromotEdge builds the full identity system buyers know you by, so you are trusted on sight and picked over cheaper names.

Also called corporate identity design or a brand kit. Pick this page for the whole kit; a logo project is smaller. If positioning is unclear, start with brand strategy. Our branding page shows every piece.

Try this today: lay ten things your company made this year on one table. If they look like five companies made them, the problem isn't the logo. Nobody built a system. We start with that table and your sales team, because our job is to impress your customers, not you.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

What gets in the way of a consistent brand, and the way through.

“Every designer or agency we hire redraws our brand. We have a logo but no fixed colours, fonts or style.”

Without rules and master files, each new person guesses. A system fixes the choices once and makes the right version the easy one.

“We charge premium prices, but we look cheap next to competitors.”

Buyers judge quality before they see the product. We put your brand beside your nearest competitors first.

“Our brand works in English, then breaks in Hindi or Bengali.”

We choose typefaces and layouts for the Indian scripts your buyers read, from the first draft.

“We are launching a new company or product line, and it must look established from day one.”

That is how we built Desi Machines, our own group brand: name, tagline, logo and identity together. See the Desi Machines page.

“Our stall, website and WhatsApp catalogue don't match, and our logo was made when we were one small unit.”

We keep what buyers already recognise and rebuild the rest as one system. The kit gives every item one source.

/ 06 How we work

From your sales teamto a finished kit.

  1. 01

    Listen

We meet leadership and your sales team. They know what buyers say and who you lose to.

  2. 02

    Audit

We photograph everything the brand appears on beside your competitors.

  3. 03

    Agree the brief

One page, signed by you. A logo drawn before that usually gets drawn twice.

  4. 04

    Design and test

Two or three routes, tested small, in one colour and on cheap print. We say which we would pick.

  5. 05

    Build the system

The chosen route becomes the full kit.

  6. 06

    Hand over and roll out

Master files, the brand book and a switchover list. We can't do magic alone: the faster your team uses the kit, the sooner buyers see one company.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led B2B firm starts with the dealer board, stationery and catalogue. A D2C brand starts with the pack and social profile. A franchise needs an outlet kit anyone can follow. A services firm starts with the proposal template and the website.

  1. Start with your sales team. They know what buyers call you and where you look small. Notes from one call.
  2. Sign a one-page brief before design. A logo drawn before it usually gets drawn twice. A brief you approve.
  3. Test on the hardest item. If it works on a cheap print and a dealer board, it works everywhere. Routes on real items.
  4. Hand over rules with the files. Without rules, each new person guesses. A short brand book and templates.

AI in brand identity: today and next

Today

Adobe says Firefly can generate and refine images, with tools like Generative Fill and Generative Expand, and that outputs include Content Credentials. It helps with mood boards and quick explorations. A mark still needs a human to draw, choose and test it, and to check who owns the final file.

Our view: first sketches will get faster, and a clear brief will matter more. Want us to show where AI can save time on your identity? Ask us.

/ 07 Cost

What affects the cost of brand identity design.

Each identity is quoted against a written scope. Printing, signage and font licences are costed separately.

What affects the cost

  • A new name and tagline, or only the visual identity
  • Sub-brands, product lines or group companies sharing the system
  • Design routes and change rounds
  • Indian scripts the identity must work in
  • Templates on day one, and rollout help

How we quote

  1. You tell us about the business, buyers and what the brand must do.
  2. We look at what the brand appears on and who you compete with.
  3. A written scope: deliverables, routes, change rounds.
  4. A quote with design on its own line.

What you get in the quote

  • The deliverables, from logo suite to brand book
  • Routes, change rounds, languages and scripts
  • Templates and file formats
  • Stage dates, and who signs off

When you compare quotes, ask every agency, including us: do we get master and editable files? Are font licences included? How many templates?

/ 08 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Brands and people are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.

Straight answers.

  • A logo suite, colours, typefaces, an imagery and icon style, and a tone of voice, plus templates, a short brand book and master files. Some projects add a name and tagline, as Desi Machines did. Every piece comes in the master files your printers and agencies need.

  • We listen to leadership and your sales team, audit what the brand appears on and agree a one-page brief. Then we design two or three routes, test them, build the chosen one into a system and hand it over with a rollout plan.

  • A logo is enough if you are small and do the design yourself. Once printers, dealers, agencies and new staff all apply your brand, you need the identity system, so each of them starts from the same rules. If a logo is all you need, we will say so.

  • Brand identity design cost depends on scope: a visual identity alone, or one with a new name, sub-brands, many scripts and a rollout. We quote after a first conversation, in writing, and confirm the timeline in the same quote.

  • Design for the small screen first: the logo must read as a round profile picture, and colours must hold on a cheap phone. We include post templates in the kit, and our social media team can run the channels for you.

  • Our in-house team of 65+ people does the work, with industry consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We review brand identity work on video calls and visit regularly.

  • Yes. We built the whole identity of Desi Machines, our own group brand: name, tagline, logo and kit together. We have no client identity numbers to show yet, so we show the work in a meeting. For your sector, start with our healthcare, industrial manufacturing or real estate pages.

  • Agree the signs before launch: enquiries by name, searches for your brand, the price buyers accept, and whether dealers use the new files. Compare the three months before and after, and note what your sales team hears from buyers. Then fix whatever is still being ignored.
