“Our name no longer fits what we sell.”
We check whether the name must change or only the line under it. A new name needs a real reason.
A rebrand fails when it throws away what buyers already remember. PromotEdge helps you change your look, name or promise while keeping the customers and dealers who know you.
The risk is rarely the new logo. It is the half-changed boards, packs and listings that leave buyers unsure it is still you.
How big a change do you need? A tidy-up fixes logo files and colour codes. A refresh updates type, colour and layouts. A repositioning changes the promise. A new name changes the word buyers say aloud, so it carries the most risk. Our branding page says who needs which.
Ask first, draw later. Customers and dealers tell us what they remember: the red colour, the shape of the board, a line your salesmen say on every call. What owners want to drop is often what buyers spot first. It goes on a keep list.
We'd rather show you results than a nice presentation. So the new look goes on mock boards beside the old ones, and a few dealers answer one question: whose is this? Change is the only constant. Done in this order, it costs fewer customers.
| What you get | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Recognition report and keep list | What customers, dealers and your sales team remember, with every old asset marked keep, change or drop |
| Size-of-change note | Tidy-up, refresh, repositioning or new name. If a refresh is enough, we say so |
| Dealer-tested new look | Mock boards and packs shown beside the old ones, with what dealers said |
| Switchover sheet | Boards, packs, website, Google Business Profile, social pages and invoices, each with an owner and a date |
| Search plan and three-month check | Old web addresses mapped to new ones for SEO (search engine optimisation), then enquiries that name you |

“We want to look premium, but our boards still say discount.”
We change what buyers see first, then test the new look with dealers before anything is printed.
“Our dealers like the old look.”
They worry about buyers who find them by that board. We ask what they would miss and bring them in early.
“Last time, half the dealers never changed their boards.”
We plan the switchover by place and date, with one owner each, so you never look like two companies.
“We are changing our web address too.”
A new domain carries the most search risk. Google advises changing one thing at a time, so we plan the order with you.

Our beliefOur job is to impress your customers, not you.
The owner, your sales team and a few dealers tell us why change now, and what must not change.
Customers and dealers say what they remember. That becomes the keep list.
We say which size we would pick, even when it is smaller than you hoped.
The new look goes on mock boards for a few dealers. We fix what confuses them.
Legal papers with your CA, domain and redirects first. Then everything online on one day. Then boards and packs, each old one down only when the new one is up.
At three months we read the numbers and chase what lags.

A dealer-led B2B (business-to-business) firm leads with boards and dealer packs. A D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand leads with the website and packs. A franchise needs one owner per outlet. An exporter checks the name in each market.
Google advises permanent redirects (301 or 308) from each old address to its new match, kept generally at least a year. It says to expect ranking to move for a while, and to change one thing at a time.

Adobe Firefly makes up to four images from each text prompt. Adobe says who owns a generated image "will depend on the laws of your local jurisdiction". That suits mood boards and mock-ups. Ask your lawyer before an AI image becomes your mark.

Anish Basu MallikMarketing Executive at Unimark GroupRebranding means changing how buyers see your business: its name, look, voice or promise, or all four. It can be small, like a sharper logo, or big, like a new name. The aim is that buyers see the company you are now, and still know it is you.
It depends on the size of the change, the places in the rollout and whether the web address changes. We don't publish a price list. We quote after a first conversation, against a written scope, within 2 working days. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
Yes, if the change is planned around what they remember. We ask them first, write a keep list and test the new look with a few dealers before anything goes up. For a while, boards can show the new name beside the old one. See signage and retail branding.
They can move for a while, and Google says to expect this. It advises permanent redirects from each old address to its new match, kept at least a year, and changing one thing at a time. No one can promise rankings stay put. See website migration SEO.
Not as a before-and-after case yet. We share relevant work when we talk, and our clients page has what clients say in their own words. We would rather say so than stretch another job into a rebrand. Ask us for references on a call.
Our in-house team of 65+ people does the work, with industry consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and we meet you in your city at least once every three months. In Kolkata? See branding in Kolkata.
What can't be measured can't be achieved, so agree the signs before launch. Do enquiries that name you go up? Do searches for the new name grow while calls for the old name fade? Do dealers use the new material? We read them with you at three months.
