/ 01 Corporate video production

A company filmthat earns its keep.

A company film earns its keep only when the sales team plays it. PromotEdge makes profile, plant, leadership and hiring films for businesses across India.

Sales, HR and investor teams can use them for years.

Here is what we usually see: one film that says everything and runs nine minutes. Outsiders stop early. We start with three questions: who watches, where, and what should they do next?

A dealer, a graduate and a bank's credit team need different films from shared footage. We make them for healthcare companies, real estate developers and manufacturers. For a TV commercial or an explainer, the same shoot can often help. See video production.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“Our company video is six years old, and two people in it have left.”

We build the film in sections, so one part can be reshot without redoing the rest.

“Buyers want to visit the plant first, and we can't fly everyone in.”

A plant film shows lines, testing and people, and answers many questions a site visit would.

“Our sales team skips the video because it is too long.”

You get a full version, a two-minute cut for meetings and a short edit for phones.

“Good engineers haven't heard of us, so campus hiring is hard.”

A culture film shows real teams at work, for the careers page, LinkedIn and campus talks.

“Our managers freeze in front of a camera.”

Interviews run as conversations. People get the questions a day ahead, and we keep their clearest answers.

“Last time, the shoot upset the whole shop floor.”

We plan shots shift by shift with your safety and production heads, so the line keeps running.

/ 04 How it runs

Brief to final cutin five to eight weeks.

A typical schedule for a profile film at one or two sites. Many cities or drone permissions add time.

  1. 01

    Week 1: brief

Who watches, where, and what they do next. We list every place the film will play.

  2. 02

Weeks 1-2: script and shot list

A script you read in five minutes. One person on your side approves it.

  3. 03

Weeks 2-3: recce and safety plan

We visit each site with your safety officer and agree no-go areas, gear and shift timings.

  4. 04

    Weeks 3-4: shoot

A small crew works area by area. Interviews happen in a quiet room.

  5. 05

    Weeks 4-6: edit

A first cut with a guide voice, then two rounds of changes, then graphics and sound.

  6. 06

    Weeks 6-8: versions

The master, short edits, subtitles and language versions, each in the right shape.

Change is the only constant.

More on this

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led manufacturer leads with plant, range and dealer terms. A D2C (direct to consumer) brand shows founders and makers. A franchise shows outlet standards. A services firm shows its people and method.

The same facts can also sit in a company profile for banks and tender teams.

  1. Write the script before the crew arrives. A film that tries to say everything is not watched to the end. A one-page script, one approver.
  2. Visit with your safety head. A working plant cannot stop for a shoot. A shift-by-shift shot plan.
  3. Shoot in sections. A part can be redone when people or machines change. Plant, leader and product clips filed apart.
  4. Cut by audience. Dealers, graduates and banks look for different things. A full film, a two-minute cut, a phone cut.
  5. Agree the film's job, then count it. What can't be measured can't be achieved. A monthly note on views and enquiries when it runs as an ad.

AI in corporate video: today and next

Today

ElevenLabs says its dubbing works in 90+ languages, Hindi included, and keeps the speaker's tone. Synthesia says it makes videos with AI avatars and voiceovers in 140+ languages.

We would use such tools for language versions of safety and training films, with a native speaker checking the result. We would not use them in place of your real plant and people. A voice clone needs the speaker's written consent.

/ 05 Cost

What a corporate filmcosts.

Each film is quoted against the approved script, with crew, shoot days, post-production and versions on separate lines.

What affects the cost

  • Shoot days: the biggest single line
  • Number of locations, and how far apart they are
  • Interviews: how many people, and whether a teleprompter is needed
  • Cast, if actors appear beside your staff
  • Aerial shots, and the drone permissions they need
  • Post-production and versions: graphics, vertical cuts, subtitles, languages

How we quote

  1. We talk about who the film is for and where it will play
  2. We list your sites and the people to be interviewed
  3. We outline the script and the shoot days it needs
  4. You get a quote within 2 working days, each line shown apart

What you get in the quote

  • Script and shot list, with review rounds
  • Shoot days, crew and equipment
  • Editing, graphics, colour and sound
  • The master film and the cuts you asked for
  • Subtitles and language versions, each on its own line

Travel and stay for shoots at your location are charged at actuals and shown in the quote.

Straight answers.

  • Shoot days, locations, crew and post-production set most of the cost. One day at a head office costs far less than a multi-plant film with three language versions. We do not publish a price list; we quote against a written script, with travel at actuals.

  • A film about your company, made for buyers, staff, investors or recruits rather than for TV. Common types are the profile, plant tour, leadership message, hiring film and customer story. Each needs one audience and one job, or it tries to say everything and is watched by no one.

  • It gives your best sales pitch the same way every time. Buyers in other states see your plant and people before they visit. One film can run on your website, on social media and in presentations to potential clients, so a single shoot serves several teams.

  • In six steps: brief, script, site visit, shoot, edit and versions. Five to eight weeks is typical for a profile film at one or two sites. The shoot is often one to three days. We confirm the timeline in the quote.

  • Yes, with planning. We follow your permit and gear rules and film area by area around shifts. Drone shots need a registered drone and a certified pilot. Plan the shoot with your safety officer first. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

  • Agree it in writing before the shoot. You should own the final film. Licensed music and hired actors come with terms on where and how long the film can run. Raw footage is a separate line in the contract, and so are language versions made later.

  • Set its job before the shoot and measure that, such as enquiries from a page or applications from a hiring film. When it runs as an ad, our performance marketing team reports views, enquiries and the cost per qualified lead.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India and meets you in your city at least every three months. The shoot is done by our in-house team of 65+ people, with consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them.
