/ 01 Company profile design

A profile that does theintroducing for you.

A company profile is read before the first call, so it should answer a buyer's questions before you meet. PromotEdge writes and designs company profiles for Indian companies, as a long PDF, a short edition, a phone edition and a deck, all built from one set of checked facts.

Banks, tender teams, export buyers and large customers use your profile to decide if you are safe to work with. Here is what we usually see: a profile written for the owner, not for the person reading it. It matters most for industrial makers, healthcare suppliers and real estate developers.

A profile covers who you are, what you make, how you work, where you operate and who trusts you. One product range is a brochure. A live pitch is a presentation. A yearly statutory report is an annual report.

Our job is to impress your customers, not you. So we start with their questions. Want us to read your current profile and say plainly what we would change? Ask for a free plan.

What we believe at PromotEdge
/ 03 Common hurdles

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“The profile is old, and the team quietly avoids sending it.”

Most firms outgrow their profile. We rebuild it around what you sell today and what buyers ask, so your team is glad to send it.

“It says "a trusted partner with a vision", and buyers skim past it.”

We swap big words for facts: capacity, years, certificates, locations and the way you work.

“The proof sits in different folders.”

We collect certificates, plant photos and client names once, check what you may show, and place them where a buyer looks.

“One document has to serve a bank, a tender and a dealer.”

We write one master and cut editions from it: a long PDF, a short edition, a phone version and a few slides.

“Numbers differ between the profile, the website and the old brochure.”

We build one fact sheet that you sign off. Every edition draws from it, so a changed number is changed once.

“The file is too heavy for WhatsApp, or the print looks unlike the screen.”

We make a light phone PDF and a print file set up for the press, with a printed proof before the full run.

Is your profile older than your last big order? Send it over and we will say plainly what we would change. Get a free growth plan

/ 04 How we work

Facts first,then pages.

A 12 to 16-page profile usually takes four to five weeks, mostly waiting for content and sign-offs. That is a planning range, not a promise. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.

  1. 01

    Fact sheet (week 1)

One page of every number, certificate and claim, checked and signed off by you.

  2. 02

    Reader questions (week 1)

We ask your sales team and two buyers what they want to know first. The profile answers in that order.

  3. 03

Words first (weeks 1 to 2)

Copy goes to you as a plain document. Changing words now costs minutes, not days.

  4. 04

Design on real pages (weeks 2 to 3)

You see two or three spreads with your actual content. Then we design the rest.

  5. 05

    Proofs (weeks 3 to 4)

A PDF proof, then a printed colour proof of the cover and key photos if you are printing.

  6. 06

    Editions (weeks 4 to 5)

Print files, a light phone PDF and slides. The back cover carries an edition date. What can't be measured can't be achieved, so each edition gets its own QR code or number.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led B2B (business-to-business) firm leads with range, certificates and dealer terms. An exporter adds ports, units and shipping terms. A franchise shows outlets and support. A services firm shows people, method and work it may name.

  1. Write from the buyer's questions. People decide faster when page one answers theirs. A page plan in buyer order.
  2. Keep one fact sheet. A number changed once stays right everywhere. A signed sheet.
  3. Show only cleared proof. Certificates and named work build more trust than adjectives. A list of what may be printed.
  4. Test on phone and paper. Most profiles are opened on a phone first. Both editions side by side.

AI in company profile design: today and next

Today: Google

Gemini in Google Slides can generate slides and images, and write or rewrite text from your Drive files. Google's page says it may suggest inaccurate information.

Today: Microsoft

Copilot in PowerPoint can draft a deck from a prompt or a Word file. Microsoft says the output should be reviewed and edited by a person.

Next

Our view: first drafts will keep getting faster. Facts will still need a human, so your signed fact sheet stays the source. Want us to look at where AI could save time on your next profile? Ask us.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the cost of company profile design.

We do not publish a price list, because a 6-page profile and a 24-page export profile differ a lot. The smallest first step is a free 30-minute call with a strategist and a one-page plan, for projects we think we can help.

What affects the cost

  • Page count and the number of editions
  • Who writes: us from scratch, us editing your notes, or your final text
  • Photos: a new shoot, stock, or retouching what you have
  • Extra languages or an export version
  • Change rounds and how fast you need it
  • Print run, paper and finish, quoted as a separate cost

How we quote

  1. You tell us who reads the profile, where it is used and what you have today
  2. We write a scope: fact sheet, page plan, copy, photos and editions
  3. We send the quote within 2 working days, each cost on its own line
  4. You approve it before work starts

What you get in the quote

  • A fact sheet and a page plan
  • Copywriting or editing, if you want it, on its own line
  • Design with the agreed number of change rounds
  • Print-ready files and the phone PDF

Compare quotes on the same page count, copy work and change rounds. Ask if editable files are included. Unsure where to start? Talk to us.

/ 06 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  2. 02

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Straight answers.

  • It is the document that tells a buyer who you are, what you do and why to trust you. It goes to banks, tender teams and new customers, usually as a PDF, with a print copy and a short deck.

  • Your story, what you make or do, capacity, certificates, how you work, locations, named work you may show and clear contact details. A long profile usually runs 12 to 24 pages, a short one 4 to 8. Anything a buyer cannot check is better left out.

  • A profile tells the whole company story. A brochure sells one product or range. A presentation is shown live, with someone talking. We build all three from one fact sheet so they agree on every number, whoever sends them and wherever they land.

  • It depends on pages, editions, who writes the copy and whether photos must be shot. We quote against a written scope after one conversation, with printing on its own line. The first step is a free 30-minute call and a one-page plan.

  • A 12 to 16-page profile usually takes four to five weeks, mostly waiting for content. We need your facts, certificates, photos and a decision-maker for sign-off. We confirm the timeline in the quote, which we send within 2 working days.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We work hybrid and remotely, visit regularly and, when a job needs it, our team works at your site. Proofs and edits run on video calls and shared files, and printed proofs go by courier.

  • We count what it brings. Each edition has its own QR code, link or number, so calls and enquiries can be traced. Compare that with your sales records. If it brings none, we look at the first page and the next step first.
