/ 01 Company brochure design

A brochure is a salespersonwho stays behind.

A brochure that nobody sends is a cost, not a salesperson. PromotEdge designs company brochures and catalogues for manufacturers, traders, developers and service firms, so buyers see why to pick you and how to order.

Maybe your old profile sits unsent, or a price change spoiled a print run.

A brochure has one job: to sell on its own, as a tender profile or a dealer price book. It is part of our wider graphic design work. For the full company story, see company profile design.

It suits manufacturers who sell through dealers and tenders, developers who sell homes, and makers of medical devices and diagnostics in healthcare.

Most brochures are read first as a PDF on WhatsApp, then printed for the meeting or the site office. So we design one master and cut a light phone edition and a print edition from it.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“The company profile is years old, and the team avoids sending it.”

We rebuild it around current buyers and proof you can stand behind.

“Dealers phone for a size that is already in the catalogue.”

We add an index by code and by use, and one table style.

“At the trade show, the brochure went into a bag with fifty others.”

A leave-behind gets a clear offer, a named contact and a QR code.

“5,000 copies were printed, and prices changed a month later.”

Prices go on a separate dated sheet. The main brochure stays correct for years.

“The project brochure showed a view the approved plans don't have.”

For a developer that is a legal matter. We match every claim to the approved plans and RERA registration.

“The PDF is 40 MB, so buyers never open it.”

We export a light phone edition with working phone numbers and links.

/ 04 How a brochure gets made

From the first callto the press proof.

A 12 to 16-page company brochure usually takes four to five weeks, mostly waiting for content and sign-offs. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.

  1. 01

Questions first (days 1 to 3)

Our job is to impress your customers, not you. We ask your sellers what buyers ask before they order.

  2. 02

    Page plan (week 1)

A map of every page and a list of what we need: photos, specs, logos you may show.

  3. 03

Words, then design (weeks 1 to 3)

Copy goes to you as a plain document first. Then you see two or three spreads with real content.

  4. 04

Proofs and files (weeks 3 to 5)

A PDF proof, a printed colour proof, then print files, a phone PDF and a QR code that counts calls: what can't be measured can't be achieved.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

Sizes and paper

A4 is 210 x 297 mm and A5 is 148 x 210 mm, half of A4 (ISO 216). A4 suits profiles and catalogues, A5 suits product brochures. Covers usually run 250 to 300 gsm and inside pages 130 to 170 gsm.

RERA details for developers

RERA section 11(2) asks for the registration number and the authority's website address. MahaRERA's order of 25 July 2023 asks for a QR code beside it from 1 August 2023, with a penalty of Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000. Andhra Pradesh RERA asks for a copy before circulation. General guidance, not legal advice.

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led maker needs a searchable catalogue. A D2C (direct to customers online) brand needs a short phone edition. An exporter needs units, ports and certificates.

  1. Write for the buyer's questions. People decide faster when page one answers theirs. A page plan in buyer order.
  2. Keep prices off the main brochure. A dated sheet avoids a wrong print run. A separate price sheet.
  3. Proof on paper before the run. Colour on screen and press differ. A printed colour proof.

AI in brochure design: today and next

Today: first drafts

Copilot in Word can draft from an outline or notes and rewrite selected text. Microsoft says to check facts, numbers and names. We do, and your technical team signs the specs.

Next

Our view: first drafts and layouts will get faster, but the spec sheet and the price still need a human. Want us to see where AI saves time on yours? Ask us.

Launching a project? We can check the brochure against RERA before it goes to print. Talk to us

/ 05 Cost

What affects the cost of company brochure design.

We do not publish a price list. Printing, paper, photography and renders are third-party costs, billed at actuals and shown before you approve them.

What affects the cost

  • Page count, and for catalogues, the number of products
  • Who writes the copy: us, or your final text
  • Photos: a new shoot, renders, or retouching
  • Editions, extra languages, change rounds
  • Print run and paper, quoted by the printer

How we quote

  1. You tell us who reads the brochure and where it is used
  2. We write a scope: page plan, copy, photos and editions
  3. We send the quote within 2 working days, each cost on its own line

What you get in the quote

  • Page plan and design, with agreed change rounds
  • Copywriting, if you want it, on its own line
  • Print-ready files and the phone PDF

Compare quotes on the same page count and change rounds. Ask if editable files are included.

Our beliefWe use AI to save your team's time. A person still makes the decision.

/ 06 What happens next

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Straight answers.

  • It depends on pages, how much we write, and whether photos must be shot. An 8-page profile using your photos is a much smaller job than a 300-product catalogue with a studio shoot. We quote against a written scope; printing is a separate line.

  • A company profile usually runs 8 to 24 pages and a product brochure 2 to 8. Start from use. A4 fits tender packs, A5 fits a trade-show bag, a tri-fold suits a short product story, and a stapled booklet reads better past about 12 pages.

  • Usually a PDF first and a smaller print run, because most buyers see it on a phone before they hold it. A flipbook, a web page that shows pages turning, looks good on a laptop but can feel slow on a phone. We tell you which serves you.

  • As general guidance, the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 bars advertising a project before registration and asks brochures to show the registration number and the authority's website prominently. A buyer misled by a brochure can withdraw with a refund and interest. Not legal advice.

  • Collateral is the material that supports a sale: brochures, catalogues, leaflets, sell sheets, folders and price lists. We design the set in one style. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and we meet you in your city at least once every three months.

  • Count what it brings. Each brochure carries its own QR code, link or phone number, so calls and enquiries trace back to it. Compare that with your sales team's records. If it brings no calls, we look at its first page first.
