“Best sellers get hardly any impressions.”
Often the title is a short internal name. Google matches searches to title words.

A Shopping ad is only as good as the product data behind it. Show the right product at the right price, then count what it sells.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Google builds Shopping ads from product data, so a messy feed makes Google show the wrong products, or none. PromotEdge runs Shopping ads for online stores and catalogue brands across India, so more of the people who search for what you sell buy it from you.
Shopping ads show a photo, title, price and store name. Google builds them from your product list, called the feed, which sits in Google Merchant Center, a free tool. So the feed is the real campaign.
We work with D2C (direct to customer) brands, retailers and jewellers and industrial sellers, inside our Google Ads work. Sellers of wellness products in healthcare can run Shopping ads only within Google's health rules, so we check those first. Choose Shopping over plain Search ads when people compare products by picture and price.
A made-up example: ₹1 lakh of ads brings ₹4 lakh in sales, so ROAS (sales per ₹1 of ads) is 4. At a 25% margin you earned ₹1 lakh and spent ₹1 lakh. You broke even.
We start with logic and your numbers, so we bid by margin, not by ROAS alone.
| Part of the work | What we do | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Feed audit | Check the account, feed source and policy warnings | Errors ranked by sales at risk, each with a fix |
| Titles and descriptions | Put brand, product, key detail and variant first, because shoppers often see only about 70 characters | New titles for top products, and a formula for the rest |
| Data and labels | Fill gaps in brand, GTIN (the barcode number), GST-inclusive price and stock. Add custom labels | A clean feed and a label guide |
| Campaign build | Group products by label, bid per group, start with top sellers, test against Performance Max | A campaign map and a recommendation |
| Tracking and reports | Connect sales to Google Ads and read ROAS against margin | A monthly report with spend, sales, ROAS and margin |
Merchant Center and the ad account should sit in your company's name, with us added as managers.
“Best sellers get hardly any impressions.”
Often the title is a short internal name. Google matches searches to title words.
“Half our products show "disapproved".”
Common causes are missing data, a price that differs from the website, or a policy issue. We fix the source.
“Ads spend on cheap products that never profit.”
Custom labels group products by margin or sales, so each group gets its own bid.
“Performance Max hides which products sell.”
One big total can hide product results. We check whether a separate Shopping campaign gives more control.
“A sold-out item is still advertised.”
Google reads a hosted file or Sheet about once a day. We set the refresh to match how fast your stock changes.

Our beliefThink creative. Act on numbers.
Brief to first Shopping sales usually takes two to four weeks, and a large catalogue takes longer. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Our servicing team is based in cities across India.
We look at your business first and marketing second. We read your feed, warnings and sales.
Titles, GTINs, prices, stock and images are corrected at the source, best sellers first.
Labels and sales tracking go in. Google says new labels can take 24 to 48 hours to appear.
We test on best sellers at a budget you approve, then scale what works.
Spend, sales, ROAS and margin in plain numbers. What can't be measured can't be achieved.

A D2C brand with a few hundred products starts with titles and labels. A jeweller or fashion seller with many variants needs clean size and colour data. A brand also selling on marketplaces or quick commerce needs one price everywhere, because Google compares the feed with your site.
Google's AI Max for Shopping, still in beta, can rewrite product titles from your feed. A new title serves only if Google predicts it will do better. Otherwise your original runs. It currently works for English feeds only.

Product Studio is a free set of AI image tools in Merchant Center. Google calls it experimental and says results can be unexpected, so a person checks every image. Shopping ads can also show within AI Overviews, in English, in India.

Rahul MishraAssistant Manager Digital Marketing & Ecommerce at Magik LightingShopping ads show your product photo, title, price and store name when someone searches for something you sell. Google builds them from your Merchant Center product data, not from keywords. You pay when someone clicks. They need a linked Google Ads account and a Merchant Center account.
Google says Shopping campaigns run on the Shopping tab, Search, Images and Search Partner sites. Performance Max reaches YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail and Maps from one campaign, with less control over where. We usually start with Shopping for top sellers and test Performance Max once conversion data is clean.
You pay Google for clicks and pay us for the work. We don't publish a price list. We quote after a first conversation, against a written scope. Ongoing work has a 3-month minimum. After that you can stop with 30 days' notice. You keep your accounts, logins and files.
Put the most important words first, because shoppers often see only the first 70 characters or so. Google allows up to 150. Include brand, product name, key details such as material or size, and the variant. Leave out price, offers and your company name.
No. Google does not allow services, real estate, financial products such as insurance, or most vehicles in Shopping ads. Real estate brands do better with Search ads. Medicines and supplements are restricted. This is general guidance, not legal advice. If Shopping ads are the wrong tool for you, we say so.
No. Results depend on your products, prices, rivals and Google's changes. We forecast ROAS for your catalogue before you spend and set it against your margin. We check the feed first, start small on best sellers and report sales, ROAS and margin every month.
