ROIcalculator
Marketing that is not measured is only a hope. Check in one minute whether yours is paying for itself.
Is your marketingpaying back?
A marketing number you have not worked out is a guess. PromotEdge built this free calculator to show your ROI (return on investment) and ROAS (return on ad spend) from two numbers: what you spent and what it sold.
Add your margin, leads and customers to see profit, cost per lead and cost per customer.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
We start with logic and your numbers, and you should too. Use it for one campaign, one channel or one month. The cleaner your numbers, the more useful the answer.

How touse it.
- 01
Add what you spent
Ad spend plus agency and production costs for the same campaign or month.
- 02
Add what it sold
Sales you can trace to that spend: orders, invoices or closed deals.
- 03
Add your margin
The share of each sale left after the cost of goods. Without it you see sales return, not profit.
- 04
Add leads and customers
Optional. These give your cost per lead and cost per customer.
What the numbers mean
ROAS tells you how much came back for every rupee. Profit tells you whether it was worth it.
Example: you spend ₹2 lakh and it brings ₹9 lakh of sales. ROAS is 4.5x. At a 30% margin, those sales leave ₹2.7 lakh, so the campaign made ₹70,000 after its own cost.
Break-even ROAS is the line where you neither make nor lose money. At a 30% margin it is about 3.3x. A campaign below it can still be useful if those customers buy again, but you should know that you are paying for it.

ROAS (return on ad spend) is sales divided by spend. ROI (return on investment) looks at what you gained after taking the spend out. A 4x ROAS can still lose money if your margin is thin, which is why the calculator asks for margin.
-
There is no single good number. It depends on your margin. Work out your break-even ROAS first (100 divided by your margin %); anything above it makes money on the first sale.
-
Yes. Count everything the campaign cost: media, agency, production and tools. Otherwise ROI looks better than it is.
