More deposits, loans and new accounts, branch by branch, and the next product offered only to customers who said yes.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Most of a bank's growth already walks past its branches: the family nearby and the customer who holds only a savings account. PromotEdge plans marketing for commercial banks, small finance banks, co-operative banks and payments banks.
We help each branch's area bring more deposits and loans, and more card use. That means more new accounts, and more customers with a second product. We have worked with banks across India since 2015.
We plan around two maps: each branch's catchment, the area its customers come from, and what each existing customer could sensibly use next.
A payments bank takes deposits, but RBI (the Reserve Bank of India) does not allow it to lend, so its marketing is about everyday use.
Ads by medium are on our advertising for banks page. Lending app or policies too? See fintech marketing and insurance marketing.

| What the bank needs | What we do | Service |
|---|---|---|
| More deposits from each branch's area | Catchment maps, regional papers, FM and a correct Google listing per branch. | Radio and local SEO |
| A second product for existing customers | Recorded consent and life-stage groups, then offers by WhatsApp, email and SMS. | WhatsApp marketing |
| New customers searching for a loan or card | Search ads that show rates and charges, with a landing page per product. | Google Ads |
| Branches and ATMs that look cared for | Sign boards, glow signs and LED screens, through the PromotEdge group. | Signage and branch branding |
Our beliefWhat can't be measured can't be achieved.
Deposits and credit are still growing, but more slowly. Branch-level marketing and clean consent are what move accounts.
RBI's yearly report on banking says deposits and credit of scheduled commercial banks (banks on RBI's official list) grew in double digits in 2024-25, slower than the year before. Urban co-operative banks grew their balance sheets faster than the year before, and their asset quality improved for the fourth year running.

Our view: people open a deposit account where they trust the branch and find it easy, and judge a loan on the rate, the charges and the speed. Many hold only a savings account for years. They drop out when an app step fails or a charge is hard to find.
You can name one owner for each product, keep your branch-wise numbers and record consent properly. You can ask your tech team to fix the app step that loses people. We cannot set your rates, change RBI's rules or promise accounts, and your compliance team clears each piece.
We start from branch-wise numbers, because a network total hides weak branches. We test a few branches for a quarter, because one product and one measure show what works. We fix account opening before buying more ads, because leaks cost more than reach. We report monthly by branch.
IBA: the Indian Banks' Association, formed in 1946. It is a service organisation for the banking industry, with public, private, foreign and co-operative banks as members.
NAFCUB: the National Federation of Urban Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies. It describes itself as the top-level promotional body for urban co-operative banks and credit societies.

Not sure which row to start with? Let's pick one branch and one product together. Pick a first pilot
“Every campaign this year was about loans. Deposits haven't moved.”
Give deposits their own budget, measured in new accounts and balances. Our media planning goes branch by branch.
“District branches get the same posters as city branches.”
Make local-language material for the products that sell there.
“People start opening an account on our app and stop halfway.”
Fix the one step that loses most people: document upload, video KYC (online identity check) or a late OTP (one-time password). Then conversion rate optimisation tests again.
“Lakhs of our customers hold only a savings account.”
Offer one sensible next product to each life-stage group, only to customers who agreed to receive offers.
“Older members trust our bank. Their children bank on apps.”
Keep the trust and fix the ease. Show your app working, with your own staff, on social media.
“Our financial literacy camps feel like a duty, not marketing.”
Plan camps in villages and colleges, each with a short local-language film and a next step.
“Good branch staff leave, and too few good people apply.”
Show applicants and staff what a career with you looks like, through employer branding.
“A loan enquiry on our website reaches the branch a week later.”
A CRM (one place for every enquiry and follow-up) sends each enquiry to the nearest branch, with product, language and consent.

Priyam GhoseContent CreatorStart from your branches and the customers you already have. Pick one or two products where growth is stuck, and fix account opening before buying more ads. Offer existing customers a sensible next product, with consent. Test in a few branches first.
Ask every agency, including us, four things. Will you report accounts by branch, or only clicks? How do you record consent before a cross-sell message? Can you work in our regional languages? Will the people we meet today run our account?
It depends on branches, products, languages and account-opening work. A pilot in a few branches costs far less than a whole network. We don't publish a price list. A written quote follows within 2 working days of the first call.
From 1 January 2027, promotional material must be clear and factual and show the interest rate and other fees and charges. Offers go only to customers who gave explicit consent. Other bank types have matching rules. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Both, as one plan. Branding gives the bank a name people trust. Digital marketing turns that trust into accounts through search ads, social media and cross-sell. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We meet clients in their city at least once every three months.
