Bangalore judges a design by its Kannada first and by its message right after. Kannada on top, your message clear underneath.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A design for Bangalore has to be clear in Kannada before it is clear in English. PromotEdge designs signboards and pitch decks for Bangalore shops and tech firms, plus stall graphics and press ads, so buyers get your offer in one look.
People search for a design agency, a creative design agency or a graphic design company. The job is the same: turning what you sell into words and pictures that work on a shop front, a stall and a phone.
Our servicing team in Bangalore takes your brief on a video call, and proofs come back online. Printing is delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy. See our graphic design service and the Bangalore overview. Another multi-script city? Try graphic design in Mumbai or Ahmedabad.
Board artwork with Kannada in the upper 60% and English below. We redraw old boards to fit.
02Clear charts, one idea per slide, and a master file your team can reuse.
03Back walls and counters for city expos, built by a fabricator on site.
04One ad in Kannada and English, and in Tamil or Telugu when needed, sized to each paper.
05Still frames for digital screens, and hoarding artwork sized to your site. Large letters, few words.
06Posts and ad sets for the autumn festivals, and hiring posts for tech teams.
What can't be measured can't be achieved.

Four public records shape the way we plan a Bangalore design job.
Kannada takes the top 60% of the board. On 15 February 2024 the Karnataka Assembly passed a law asking every business signboard to give 60% of its space to Kannada, in the upper half. By 29 February the city had sent notices to 55,178 shops and businesses.
So we draw the Kannada name first, with the English line easy to read below. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Many languages, one city. Census 2011 figures, as reported, put Kannada at about 42% of Bengaluru's mother tongues, with Tamil, Telugu and Urdu each above 13%. Each script needs its own spacing, so we lay each one out separately.
Plan city screens as still pictures. The Greater Bengaluru Area (Advertisement) Rules were notified on 13 January 2026. We have not seen the full text. The July 2025 bye-laws allowed only still images on digital screens, at least 10 seconds apart. So we design screen ads as strong still frames, and confirm the rule with the media owner.
More newspaper editions than anywhere on the list. Bangalore has 25 rows on the member list of the Audit Bureau of Circulations, the most of any edition, in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. One press ad often needs four or five versions.

| Format | What the record shows | What it means for the design |
|---|---|---|
| Metro pillars | In September 2025, BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation) invited tenders for ads on pillars and portals, after seven years. | Tall, narrow artwork for a moving car. Few words, strong colour. |
| Festive annuals | The circulation bureau's list includes Sudha's Ugadi issue and the Prajavani Deepavali issue. | Artwork is needed weeks before the festival. |
| Phones | TRAI (the telecom regulator), March 2026: Karnataka had 70.18 million internet subscribers, 101.72 per 100 people, against 76.59 for India. | Every piece gets a phone version for a small screen and WhatsApp. |

A video call on who you sell to, where the design appears and the date. The more old boards, decks and photos you share, the faster it lands.
We list every piece with its sizes and languages, and mark the Kannada area on each signboard.
Two or three directions, shown in place on a shop front, a stall wall or a slide.
Each script is laid out on its own and checked by a native reader. Our language partners write the words.
You approve the words and prices on shared proofs. Then you get print files and light phone files.
Deeper reading if you want the research behind the plan.
A shop leads with the Kannada board and a local paper. A SaaS or IT firm needs decks and stall graphics. A D2C (online-first) brand designs phone-first, then adapts for print.
Karnataka had over 22,600 startups recognised by DPIIT on 31 March 2026, second only to Maharashtra. At the launch of the state's GCC policy in 2024, Bengaluru was said to hold "over 30 percent of the country's GCCs". A GCC is a foreign company's in-house tech unit. Firms like these need decks and stalls more than posters.

Google says Gemini in Slides can generate images and slides and write or rewrite text, and that it may suggest inaccurate information. Good for a rough deck. A native reader still checks every Kannada line.

Our view: rough layouts will come faster, while Kannada board rules and festival dates still need a person who knows Bangalore. Want us to see where AI saves time on your next job? Ask us.
No price list. These things move the number.
We write a scope that lists every piece, size and language, and quote against it within 2 working days. Printing and media space are charged at actuals, and you approve each first.
Two quotes for the same job can look far apart. Check who sets the Kannada, how many rounds of changes are included, and whether you get the open files.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
Brands and people are named only as public examples. They are not PromotEdge clients or endorsers unless stated.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.
Our servicing team in Bangalore works with the wider team across India, with briefs and reviews on video calls and shared proofs. We visit Bangalore regularly, and when a job needs it we place our team at your shop, stall or office.
Yes. We give Kannada the upper part of the board, at 60% of the space, as the 2024 law asks, and keep your name easy to spot in both scripts. We design the artwork, and your sign maker builds and fixes the board. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
English always, and through our language partners also Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and more. Kannada leads on signboards. Each script gets its own layout, and a native reader checks it before it goes out. Choose a second script by who buys from you.
Yes, if we start soon. The summit runs 17 to 19 November 2026 at BIEC, the exhibition centre on Tumakuru Road, and its organisers expect over 1,600 exhibitors. Stall files go to the fabricator first, so we design those before the deck and the social posts.
Usually, if you brief us now. Mysuru Dasara runs 11 to 21 October 2026, Kannada Rajyotsava falls on Sunday 1 November and Deepavali on 8 November. Newspaper annuals and printers fill up first, so print files go out before social posts.
Festive ads and posts show results within weeks. Count calls and walk-ins, with one QR code on each ad to see which worked. A new board or brand look builds trust over months. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
We won't claim that title, and be careful of anyone who does. A fairer test: ask to see printed and live work, not only mock-ups, meet the person who will design your job, and check how each studio sets Kannada. Ask us the same.
