Advertisingin Goa
Two airports, two private FM stations and a festival calendar need a media plan made for Goa. PromotEdge checks the rate and the site first, then counts what each medium brought back.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Papers and radio, checked before they run.
An advertising agency in Goa earns its fee by finding where a guest first meets your name, then proving which ad made the phone ring. PromotEdge plans and books press and radio ads, and outdoor sites, for Goa's hotels and traders, and counts the enquiries from each.
This page covers only what is different about Goa. Our advertising service page explains how we plan mainline media anywhere. Outdoor, or OOH (out of home), means hoardings and boards people pass in the street. Search and social media are on the Goa overview.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We come to Goa for planning days and festival weeks, and to review with you at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

Six jobs,one Goa plan.
English and Marathi press ads
The Navhind Times for English readers, Gomantak for Marathi ones. Our language partners write the Marathi ad in Marathi from the start, and our team checks it.
02FM and Akashvani spots
Which of the two private stations, whether to add one of Akashvani's three services, and which hours. Scripts are timed so a 20-second idea is never squeezed into 10.
03Airport plans
Dabolim and Mopa draw different guests. Before we suggest either, we check what space is really for sale, and compare it with a press ad on the same budget.
04Outdoor on cleared sites
Only sites whose owner can show the permission. Mounting is delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy, with partner agencies where a job needs them.
05Online ads that catch the search
A paper ad or a radio spot makes people curious, so they search. Google search ads and Meta ads put your name there.
06Proof and an enquiry count
Rates in writing before you agree. After release: a copy of each printed ad and the station logs, plus dated site photos, with enquiries counted by medium. What can't be measured can't be achieved.
Five facts that shape a Goa media plan.
Each comes from a public source, checked on 4 October 2026. The first two are here; three more are in the fold below.
Guests land at two airports, and the balance is shifting. The Airports Authority of India counted 61,26,944 passengers at Dabolim in 2025-26, down 15.4%, and 53,76,516 at Mopa, up 15.8%. Together that is 1,15,03,460, our own sum of the two rows. So an airport plan is bought for each airport, not for "Goa".
The official media lists are short. Panaji has two private FM stations on the ministry's list, and Akashvani runs three services there. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), which audits paper sales, lists two Panaji dailies: The Navhind Times in English and Gomantak in Marathi. A paper or station that is missing from a list can still be worth buying, but it must show its own proof.
The other three facts: festival weeks, what is published about outdoor sites, and guests who arrive by sea.
The Goa market for advertising
3. Festival weeks fill early. The 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) runs from 20 to 28 November 2026, with Panaji as the venue city. Its film market runs from 20 to 24 November. The state's tourism calendar is tentative. It lists Deepotsav in October 2026, the Sea Food Festival and Ramponkaranche Fest in December 2026, Carnaval in February 2027 and Shigmo in March 2027. Papers and radio near these weeks can sell out, so we hold space early.
4. Outdoor rules are not published where we looked. On 4 October 2026 the home page of the Corporation of the City of Panaji showed a Trade and Occupation Licence service and no hoarding or advertisement page. We did not read the state's law on advertisements. So we tell you what we found, not what the rule is, and we ask the owner and the Corporation in writing before you pay. General guidance, not legal advice.
5. Some guests arrive by sea. The Mormugao Port Authority, a government port, says on its own site that it has served the nation since 1885 and that cruise vessels berth there. We have no passenger numbers, so we do not plan cruise ads on a guess. If cruise guests are your buyers, we ask the port and the local body what is allowed.
Our beliefWe'd rather show you results than a nice presentation.
What is on offer, and what needs care.
Goa has two private FM stations, three Akashvani services and two audited dailies. Dabolim and Mopa draw different guests. IFFI starts on 20 November 2026. We found no published hoarding rule, so we ask before we book a site.

| Item | What the public record says | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Akashvani Primary | Panaji, 1287 kHz: ₹500 per 10 seconds in film and music shows, ₹300 in spoken-word shows. Government card of 1 June 2017. | Government rates, not ours. We confirm the current card before booking. |
| Akashvani FM Rainbow | Panaji, 105.4 MHz: ₹440, ₹330 and ₹220 per 10 seconds, by time band. | Set it beside the private stations' written rates. |
| Vividh Bharati | Panaji, 828 kHz: ₹280, ₹220 and ₹170 per 10 seconds, by time band. | The lowest rates of Akashvani's three Panaji services. Good for a first test of a message. |
| Private FM | Two stations, 91.9 and 92.7 MHz. Panaji is category D on the ministry's list of 30 March 2026. | Ask each for a written rate and a log of when your spot ran. |
| Dailies | The Navhind Times (English) and Gomantak (Marathi): ABC members with a Panaji edition. | We ask each paper for its rate card and its own reach data. No readership number is quoted here. |
| Dabolim airport | 61,26,944 passengers in 2025-26, down 15.4% from 72,44,874 (AAI lists it as "GOA"). | Compare the space on sale here with a press ad on the same budget. |
| Mopa airport | 53,76,516 passengers in 2025-26, up 15.8% from 46,43,852. In Pernem taluka, North Goa. Opened for domestic flights on 5 January 2023 (as reported on Wikipedia). | A newer and growing audience. We price it apart from Dabolim. |
| IFFI 2026 | 57th edition, 20 to 28 November 2026, with Panaji as the venue city. The film market, WAVES Film Bazaar, runs 20 to 24 November. | Book papers and radio for these days early. Check the 2026 venue list, as the site's list is headed 2024. |
| State calendar | Department of Tourism, tentative: Deepotsav in October 2026, Carnaval in February 2027, Shigmo in March 2027. | Months only, so we confirm each date before booking. |
| Panaji hoardings | The Corporation of the City of Panaji offers a Trade and Occupation Licence service. We found no page on hoardings or advertisement tax on its home page. | We write to the Corporation before you pay for a site. Not legal advice. |
Rows checked against their sources on 4 October 2026. Rate rows are the government's gross rates, not ours. Naming a paper or station does not make it our partner. The Wikipedia row is a lead to confirm.

More steps are in the fold below.

Start with the buyer
Who buys from you, where they land or stay, which paper they read, and your key date.

How the work runs in Goa
Clear each site
The owner's permission for every outdoor and airport site, and printing handled through the same partner.
Write, then book
One idea, written fresh in English and Marathi by our language partners, and sized for each paper, spot and board. Think creative. Act on numbers. Nothing is booked before your yes.
Count what came back
A campaign-only phone number, QR code or offer code for each medium. Your report shows the cost per enquiry from each.
What affects the cost of advertising in Goa.
We keep our rates off this page by choice. After a 30-minute call with a strategist we write the scope and quote against it. Space, airtime, sites, printing and mounting are billed at the owner's or supplier's price, shown before you approve.
What affects the cost
- Language: English, Marathi or both; each adds a script and often a paper
- Papers and radio: which dailies, plus ad size and day; the two private stations, and whether Akashvani is added
- Airports and outdoor: each site's owner and size, and the months and permission on file
- Season: IFFI week and Carnaval fill early
How we quote
- A first call and a written media plan naming each paper and station, and each site, with reasons
- Permission for each outdoor site, checked before it enters the quote
- A written line-by-line quote within 2 working days of that first call, which you can approve, trim or turn down
What you get in the quote
- Each paper and edition, with ad size, language and date
- Each station and time band, with spot length and spot count
- Each airport or outdoor site, with its size and months, and the permission
How it is billed
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| Season burst | One push, such as IFFI week or a hotel opening; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Monthly retainer | Releases through the year, with a monthly enquiry report; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop |
What happensafter you ask.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. Calls and shared reports keep us in touch every day, and we meet you in Goa at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

Pick the paper by language and reader. The Navhind Times is in English and Gomantak is in Marathi, and both are ABC members with a Panaji edition. We ask for the rate card, book the size and date, and keep the printed copy as proof. A written quote follows within 2 working days of the first call.
-
It depends on the station, the hour, the spot length and the weeks on air. The government card of 1 June 2017 lists Akashvani's Panaji Primary channel at ₹500 per 10-second spot in film and music shows. The two private stations quote their own rates. We send a written quote within 2 working days.

Possibly, with the right permission. On 4 October 2026 we found no hoarding rule on the Corporation of the City of Panaji's home page. So we write to the Corporation and the site owner before you pay for any site. We book cleared sites only. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
-
It depends on where your guests land. Dabolim handled 61,26,944 passengers in 2025-26, down 15.4%. Mopa handled 53,76,516, up 15.8%. Ask where last season's guests arrived. We then check what space each airport sells and compare it with a paper ad on the same budget.
-
Yes. Each medium gets its own phone number, QR code or offer code, so the report shows enquiries by medium. A paper ad, a radio spot and an airport board then show their own cost per enquiry. That tells you where the next rupee should go.
