A deck that still worksafter you leave the room.

Your deck decides whether the meeting ends with a next step. PromotEdge plans, writes and designs sales, investor and board decks for companies across India.

The usual problem: the deck has 40 slides, and the buyer remembers none of them.

Decks are one part of our wider graphic design work. Pick this page when someone presents the deck, or it gets forwarded and read alone. A brochure is read on its own. An annual report follows filing rules and dates.

Here is what we usually do first. We ask your sales team which slide buyers want to see again, and which they skip. Those answers set the order. Each slide holds one idea, the headline is a full sentence, and we test the deck in two real meetings.

/ 03 What usually gets in the way

Where a deckusually loses the room.

“Every salesperson has their own version, and no two match.”

One master deck and a template, with slides to add or drop for each buyer. Everyone tells the same story.

“Our deck has 40 slides, and the buyer stopped listening around slide six.”

The first ten slides are usually about you. We open with the buyer's problem, then your answer, then proof.

“The investor deck looked great, but the first question was about a number we had buried.”

Investors look early for revenue, growth, margins and use of funds. We bring them forward and match every chart to your accounts. Heading for a listing? See IPO and listed companies.

“It works when someone presents it, but the forwarded PDF makes no sense.”

Full-sentence headlines let the PDF tell the story. Speaker notes carry the detail.

“Each time someone edits the deck, the fonts break and the colours drift.”

A proper master has fixed layouts and fonts that open on every laptop.

“We have a tender pitch in ten days, and the deck is a copy of last year's.”

Panels usually score against a written list. We map each slide to it.

/ 04 How a deck gets made

Rough notes to a tested deckin about three to four weeks.

A good deck repeats and does not happen by luck. Board and investor decks depend on when your numbers are final, so we plan backwards from the meeting date.

  1. 01

Days 1 to 3: listen first

We hear from the people who present where their meetings stall.

  2. 02

Week 1: the story on one page

One line per slide, in order, approved before any design.

  3. 03

    Week 2: words and charts

Headlines and speaker notes. Your team checks every number.

  4. 04

    Weeks 2 to 3: design

Two or three sample slides with real content first, then the rest.

  5. 05

Weeks 3 to 4: rehearse and hand over

A run-through on your presenter's laptop. Then files, PDF and template.

  6. 06

    After two real meetings: fix

You tell us where people drifted. We fix those slides.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led B2B (business-to-business) firm leads with range and dealer terms. A D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand pitching retailers leads with sell-through. A services firm leads with method and named work. An investor deck leads with growth and use of funds.

  1. Start from the meeting, not the slides. A deck exists to move one decision. A one-page brief.
  2. Write the story before design. Changing a line costs minutes, changing a design costs days. A signed-off outline.
  3. Check every number with your team. One wrong figure can sink a good deck. Charts tied to your accounts.
  4. Test in two real meetings. Your buyers show where the deck works. A fix round.

AI in presentation design: today and next

Today: Google

Google's help page says Gemini in Slides can generate images and slides, summarise a deck and write or rewrite text. It needs an eligible Workspace or Google AI plan, and may suggest inaccurate information.

Today: Microsoft

Microsoft says Copilot in PowerPoint can build a deck from a prompt, asking about audience and style first, or from a Word file. It says a person should review and edit the output.

Next

Our view: first drafts will keep getting faster. The story, the numbers and the room still need a person who knows your buyers. Want us to see where AI could save your team time? Ask us.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the costof presentation design.

No price list. These things move the number.

A 12-slide sales deck from your text differs a lot from a 40-slide investor deck we write from scratch. Paid stock photos, icons or fonts are charged at actuals and shown first.

What affects the cost

  • Slides, and versions (sales, investor, dealer)
  • Who writes the story: us, us editing your draft, or your final text
  • Charts, and how clean your numbers are
  • One deck, or a template and slide library
  • Animation, video clips or illustrations
  • Speed, and change rounds

How we quote

  1. We talk about the meeting and what the room must decide.
  2. We look at your current deck and material.
  3. We write a scope: slides, versions, who writes, template, dates.
  4. Within 2 working days you get a quote with each cost on its own line.

What you get in the quote

  • Slides and versions, with writing on its own line
  • Charts, icons and illustrations
  • The template and slide library, if wanted
  • Change rounds, and who owns the editable files

Compare who writes the story, the change rounds and whether an editable template is included. We can arrange printing, or any printer can use the PDF. Planning a dealer meet? See dealer meets.

Straight answers.

  • It turns what you know into a deck someone can follow in one sitting: the story, the words, the charts and the design, plus a template your team can reuse. We start a step earlier, with your sales team, so the deck answers real buyer questions.

  • It depends on the slides, how much we write, the charts and whether you want a reusable template. We quote after a first conversation, against a written slide plan, and show any paid images or fonts first, so the final bill has no surprises.

  • Use the one your team presents from and edits in. A beautiful Keynote file helps nobody if your sales team works on Windows laptops. We build in that tool and test it on your own laptop and projector, so nothing breaks in the meeting room.

  • Yes. That is what the master template is for. Layouts, colours, fonts and chart styles sit in the master, so a new slide still looks right. We also walk your editors through it in a short session and leave a one-page guide for new joiners to follow.

  • Our in-house team of 65+ people, with consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them. A writer and a designer work on your deck together, and one person stays your contact from the first brief until the final file, so you never repeat yourself.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We work hybrid, stay in touch daily and meet you in your city at least once every three months. When a deck needs it, one of our team works at your office or plant.

  • Agree one number before we start, and check it after a few weeks of use: second meetings or quote requests for a sales deck, investors asking for the next call for an investor deck, the shortlist for a tender. Keep checking it each quarter.

  • Ask who will write the story, not only who will design the slides. Ask for a deck before and after, and whether an editable template is included. Most decks hold private numbers, so we show past decks where companies agreed, or what we would change in yours.
