Buyers in the city that built Tamil cinema judge a company film harder than most, so the script comes first. You see the script and shot list before any shoot is booked.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A film is won or lost in the script, long before the camera rolls. PromotEdge scripts, plans and edits factory, company and ad films for Chennai makers, exporters and tech firms, so each shoot day turns into cuts people watch.
Chennai has made films for over a century, so buyers here notice shaky shots and a stiff voice-over. We aim to impress the buyer who watches, not the boss who signs it off.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India and writes, plans and edits your film hybrid and remotely. Our in-house team of 65+ shoots it. See our video production page and the Chennai overview.
For suppliers around Sriperumbudur and Oragadam: lines and quality checks, shown as an overseas audit team would want.
02For firms along OMR and around TIDEL Park: a long client-visit film plus short hiring clips.
03A TVC is a TV commercial. We write the Tamil script first, then cut YouTube, Instagram and cinema versions.
04One problem, one product, about ninety seconds, for your website and sales follow-ups.
05Silent loops for Chennai Trade Centre stalls, and a recap film for people who missed the show.
06When a part or process can't be filmed, 3D animation shows it.

Public records, checked on 4 October 2026.
1. Tamil cinema grew up here. Kollywood joins Kodambakkam, a Chennai studio area, with Hollywood, and the India Film Company opened in Kilpauk in 1916. Viewers expect good craft.
2. Factories sell to the world from here. Hyundai's plant at SIPCOT Irungattukottai is part of its global export hub, and BMW has built cars at Mahindra World City since 2007. Kancheepuram shipped $26.4 billion in FY26, second in India.
3. Most people watch on a phone. TRAI counted 67.73 million internet subscribers in Tamil Nadu, Chennai included, in March 2026: 87.33 per 100 people. So we compose for a small screen and burn in subtitles.
4. Tamil comes first. About 78% of people in the old city named Tamil as mother tongue (Census 2011, as reported). A film dubbed later sounds like a translation, so our language partners write the Tamil at script stage.

| Topic | What the record says | What it means for your film |
|---|---|---|
| Show venue | Chennai Trade Centre is at Nandambakkam, 5.5 km from the airport. Its older halls are pillar-free. | Stall screens are seen from afar: big text, no sound, a loop that works from any point. |
| Street shoots | We found no single-window shooting permission for Chennai in public records. This is general guidance, not legal advice. | We find who controls each spot, then apply. |

A B2B (business-to-business) exporter wants a plant film an overseas buyer can follow. A D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand wants many short cuts from one shoot. A services firm leans on its people on camera.
AVM Productions was founded in 1945, and its Arcot Road studio calls itself "the oldest active film studio in India" (AVM's own claim). Prasad Corporation says it has more than six decades in restoration, post-production and content localisation, so old brand footage can often be cleaned up and reused. The Sun TV channel began on 14 April 1993, and the Daily Thanthi group runs Thanthi TV. A TV spot must meet each channel's file rules.

Google says Veo makes video from text or reference images, with sound effects and dialogue, and marks its clips with SynthID. For a factory film, that helps with a moving storyboard. The real plant, your people and the Tamil voice still need a camera.

Our view: rough cuts and subtitles will get faster. Trust still comes from real people and real machines on screen.

We write the scope and script first, then quote each line. Studio hire, travel, actors and permissions are shown at actuals.
Comparing Chennai quotes? Compare shoot days, language versions and who owns the raw footage. A low quote with no script usually grows once filming starts.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupOur servicing team is based in cities across India. We write, plan and edit hybrid and remotely, review every cut with you on video calls, visit Chennai at least every three months, and work at your site when a shoot needs it.
We won't call ourselves that, and nobody can prove it. Ask each firm three things: will they show a script before the quote, have they filmed somewhere like yours, and do you get the raw footage? Choose the firm with the clearest answers.
A corporate video is a short film about your company: what you make, how, and who does the work. It takes script and shot list, one or two filming days, then the edit. Most run two to four minutes, with shorter cuts for social.
Yes, if both are planned from the script, with the Tamil written by our language partners rather than translated later. On-screen text sits in a separate layer, with room for longer Tamil lines, and both versions are cut from the same shoot days.
Usually, yes, with your safety team in charge. We agree the allowed areas, the crew's safety gear and the timing between shifts, so production keeps running. Drawings, customer names and pricing stay out of frame, and your safety head signs the shot list.
Often, yes, for public places. We did not find a single-window process for Chennai in public records, so we confirm the rules for each location, with its owner or the authority, before fixing your date. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Ayudha Pooja is on 19 October, Vijayadasami on 20 October and Deepavali on 8 November 2026, too close for a new shoot, though a festive edit of existing footage works. The Chennai Marathon is on 3 January 2027, the 50th Book Fair on 7 to 19 January. A new film needs four to six weeks.
The film takes a few weeks. Results depend on where it runs. Paid ads show clicks within days. A company film pays back over months, in shorter sales meetings and better job applicants. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
