Most Odisha homes read an Odia paper and the city controls who may put up a hoarding, so an ad plan cannot be copied from elsewhere. Every ad gets its own way to count the replies.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Mass media works in Odisha only when each ad is planned for its reader and has its own way of counting replies. PromotEdge plans, writes and books newspaper, radio and outdoor ads for Odisha businesses, so that you can check each rupee of media against the enquiries it brought.
Our servicing team in Bhubaneswar works hybrid, so planning and writing happen over calls and shared drafts. We visit you for the briefing, the shoot and the launch, and when a campaign needs it, we place our team at your site.
Mainline, also called ATL (above the line), means mass media such as newspapers, radio and hoardings. We start from your sales numbers, not from an ad idea we happen to like. See our advertising services and the Bhubaneswar overview.
Display ads and classifieds. Odia dailies for homes, English business papers for company buyers.
02Scripts timed to the second, on one or two private stations, plus Akashvani if you sell beyond the twin cities.
03Hoardings and bus shelters booked only through BMC's empanelled agencies.
Rath Yatra, Durga Puja and Bali Jatra pushes, with booking dates fixed in one sheet.
One idea that works in an Odia daily, an English paper and a 20-second spot. Our language partners write press ads and radio scripts in Odia, Hindi, English and more, and our team briefs and checks every one.
Press and radio send people to Google. Our search ads on your name count them.

Four facts shape our plans for the twin cities.
Print splits by language. About 84% of people in Odisha speak Odia, according to the state's own reference book. Only two Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) members list a Bhubaneswar edition, and both are English: The Economic Times and Orissa Post.
The Odia dailies are not on it, so no audited readership is public. We run a small test and trust the replies.
Four private FM stations, and Akashvani from Cuttack. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting lists four private FM channels for Bhubaneswar as of 30 March 2026, in its category C. Akashvani, the government radio service, runs Odisha's main channels from Cuttack, and its rates are old, so we check today's.
Outdoor is tightly controlled. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) allows ads only through its empanelled, meaning approved, agencies. In December 2024 it fined three jewellery shops ₹3.5 lakh in total. It barred hoardings on four main roads in 2018, and from April 2023 began pulling down illegal rooftop ones, as the city is cyclone-prone.
Festivals set the ad calendar. Rath Yatra in Puri was on 16 July this year, and the state's Durga Puja holidays are 17, 19 and 20 October. Bali Jatra in Cuttack starts on Kartika Purnima; last year it ran from 5 to 12 November. Shops book around these weeks; B2B (business-to-business) firms plan by the April to March financial year.
Odia dailies, FM stations, Akashvani rates, BMC rules and the twin-city audience.
| Medium or rule | What the record shows |
|---|---|
| Odia dailies | Bhubaneswar: Sambad (1984), Dharitri (1974), Pragativadi (1973). Cuttack: The Samaja (1919), Prajatantra. |
| English dailies | The Economic Times and Orissa Post (Dharitri group, 2011), both on the ABC list. |

| Hoardings and bus shelters | Barred in 2018: Cuttack Road, Janpath, Sachivalaya Marg, Bidyut Marg. In 2014 BMC gave a private agency 23 bus shelters for five years, as a PPP (public-private partnership). |
| Audience and online | Census 2011: 8,85,363 in Bhubaneswar, 6,10,189 in Cuttack. TRAI: 30.55 million internet subscribers in the Odisha circle, March 2026. |

Our beliefWe know digital inside out, and we think like an Indian business.
On video. Share sales by month, ad spend and what last year's ads brought in.
We come to Bhubaneswar to map your buyers by language, area and season.
Our media buying plan lists each paper, station and site with its rate. We buy the space through our media partners.
Press ads, radio scripts and hoarding artwork, in each reader's language.
We book, check every release and keep proof: the printed page, radio logs, dated site photos.
What can't be measured can't be improved, so each medium gets its own number or offer code. Money moves to what brings replies.

Bhubaneswar is home to state bodies as well as shops. OMFED, the state dairy cooperative, says it has 12 dairy plants and processes over 6 lakh litres of milk a day. Its tagline is "Milk of Odisha". Mass media suits that kind of brand.

Google's help page lists Odia, Hindi and Bengali among the languages of the Gemini web app, which helps with first drafts of a script. A native reader still checks every line. Performance Max reaches YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail and Maps from one campaign.

Our view: AI will speed up drafts, but press, radio and hoardings still need a person to check language, rates and approval. Want us to look at yours? Ask us.

We don't publish a price list. After a first conversation we send a quote against a written scope, within 2 working days. Newspaper space, airtime and sites are billed at actuals, and you see each rate before you approve it.
When you compare quotes, check that media and GST are inside the number.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Sharif Rezwan KabirBrand Manager at PRAN RFL GroupWe serve Bhubaneswar and Cuttack with a team that plans and writes hybrid and remote, so distance does not slow your ads. We are in touch every day, and at least once every three months we visit you in Bhubaneswar. For a shoot or a launch, we place our team at your site.
The one your buyers read. For Odia-reading homes, compare Sambad, Dharitri and Pragativadi, and add The Samaja or Prajatantra for Cuttack buyers. For company buyers, look at The Economic Times or Orissa Post. Odia papers publish no audited figures, so we start with a small ad and count the replies.
Only BMC's empanelled agencies, at places the corporation has approved. Other ads can be removed and fined: in December 2024, three jewellery shops paid ₹3.5 lakh between them. Rooftops and the four roads barred in 2018 are off the table. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Yes. Our language partners write Odia, Hindi and English ads, and our team briefs and checks each one. For homes and shoppers, Odia is usually the right first language; company buyers often read English papers. We decide by who is buying, then write for that reader.
Often both. The four private stations suit city offers with a date on them, like a sale or a shop opening. Akashvani has stations across Odisha, from Puri to Sambalpur, which helps a statewide plan. Its card rates are public but date from 2017, so we check today's rate.
Replies to a press or radio ad with a clear offer and a number to call start within days. Being remembered takes weeks of repeats. We give you a first read after the first month, and a fuller one after a festival season. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
Ongoing advertising work has a 3-month minimum. After that you can stop with 30 days' notice. One-off campaigns, such as a Durga Puja push, are scoped with fixed dates in the quote, which comes within 2 working days. Media is billed at actuals, and you approve every rate first.
We won't claim that title, and nobody can prove it. Ask every agency, including us, four things. Can they show past ads with the replies those ads brought? Will they book only BMC-approved sites? Do they show media rates apart from their fee? Who writes the Odia copy?
