/ 01 Advertising agency in Rajkot

The same daily, the same board.Test them before you repeat them.

An advertising agency in Rajkot earns its fee by testing old habits: the same daily, the same hoarding, the same festival slot. PromotEdge plans and books press, radio and outdoor ads for Rajkot's makers, jewellers and colleges, then counts the enquiries each one brings.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We talk every day and come to Rajkot at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

This page covers only what is different about Rajkot. Our advertising service page explains how we plan mainline media anywhere. Mainline means space and airtime you buy from a media owner: press, radio, TV and outdoor. Search, websites and social media are on the Rajkot overview.

/ 03 Why Rajkot needs its own plan

Three facts that shape a Rajkot media plan.

Each comes from a public source, checked on 4 October 2026. Two more are in the fold below.

Four private FM stations and two from Akashvani. The government's list of 30 March 2026 shows four private FM channels for Rajkot, at 92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz. Akashvani adds a Primary Channel on 810 kHz and Vividh Bharati on 95.8 MHz. So the first question is which of the six your buyer hears.

Papers without audited numbers. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) checks newspaper sales. Its member list shows no Rajkot edition. Gujarat Samachar and Sandesh say they publish from Rajkot. That is why each paper's own figures, in writing, come before any booking.

One fair draws a very big crowd. The district says the Janmashtami fair runs five days at the race course, with over 150 stores and rides. It says over ten lakh people come every year. That is the district's claim, not a count.

Two more facts: the civic zones and city buses, then the airport and the festival dates.

The Rajkot market for advertising

4. The city is split into zones and wards. The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC, the city council) works through 3 zone offices, Central, West and East, and 18 numbered wards. We found no hoarding rule, fee or tender on its site on 4 October 2026. So each board is listed by zone and ward, and the owner and the zone office are asked in writing. Wikipedia says the city's bus rapid transit system (BRTS, buses on their own lanes) has run since October 2012. We would ask its operator what space is sold.

5. A busier airport and a calendar of crowds. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) counted 12,46,996 passengers at Hirasar from April 2025 to March 2026, up 14.6%, all on domestic flights. It says the airport is about 30 km east of the old one. Navratri 2026 runs from 11 to 19 October, and Uttarayan, the kite festival, falls in mid-January every year. A plan works back from each date, because a paper, a station and a site each need their own lead time.

/ 04 Rajkot's media and sites

What is on offer, and what needs care.

Rajkot has four private FM stations, two from Akashvani and no audited paper edition. We found no published hoarding rules, so every board starts with the site owner's written permission.

ItemWhat the public record saysHow we use it
Gujarati dailiesNo Rajkot edition is on the ABC member list. Gujarat Samachar and Sandesh say they publish from Rajkot. We ask each paper for its own reach by area in writing, so no readership figure is used here.
Private FM92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz. Rajkot is category B on the ministry's list of 30 March 2026.Choose by listener and hour, then compare each station's written rate.
AkashvaniVividh Bharati, 95.8 MHz: Rs 390, Rs 330 or Rs 280 per 10 seconds, by time band. The Primary Channel, 810 kHz, is Rs 500 for film and music slots and Rs 300 for spoken word. These are gross rates on the government card of 1 June 2017, not our prices. We ask for today's rate.
Civic zonesThe Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC, the city council) works through 3 zone offices, Central, West and East, and 18 numbered wards. We found no hoarding rule, fee or tender on its site on 4 October 2026.We list each site by zone and ward, ask the zone office in writing, and quote no rule we cannot show.
City bus lanesWikipedia says the bus rapid transit system (BRTS, buses on their own lanes) has run since October 2012.Before we suggest bus space, we ask the operator what is for sale and on what terms.
Hirasar airport12,46,996 passengers from April 2025 to March 2026, up 14.6% from 10,88,570, all domestic (Airports Authority of India, AAI). AAI says it is about 30 km east of the old airport, on NH-88.A growing airport sits far from the city centre. We ask what space it really sells.
Janmashtami fairA five-day mela at the race course with over 150 stores, rides and merry-go-rounds, held in August or September. The district says over ten lakh people come. 2026's fair is over. The district page gives no organiser or dates, so we ask before a stall or ad is planned.
NavratriA Hindu calendar website puts the start of Navratri 2026 on 11 October. A news report of the state's 2026 holiday list puts Dussehra on 20 October. That fits nine nights, 11 to 19 October.Work back from the date. Next year's dates are checked before we plan.

Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. The row citing Wikipedia is a lead to confirm. Naming a paper, station or body does not make it our client or partner. Outdoor rows are not legal advice.

/ 05 How a Rajkot campaign runs

From first callto counted enquiries.

The full steps are in the fold below.

  1. 01

    Start with the buyer

Who buys from you, where they read, listen or gather, and the date that matters most.

  2. 02

    Choose the media

The papers and stations that fit, and outdoor only on sites with written permission.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

The rest of the steps, from clearing each site to counting what came back.

How the work runs in Rajkot

Clear each site

For every board we ask the owner for written permission, and the zone office which rules apply. A site enters the quote only when that paper is on file.

Write, then book

One idea, written in Gujarati by our language partners and sized for each paper and each spot. Nothing is booked before your yes.

Count what came back

Each medium gets a phone number, QR code or offer code used nowhere else. Your monthly report shows what each enquiry cost, by medium.

Keep what worked

After a month we drop what brought nothing and move the money to what did. The next festival is planned from those numbers.

Our beliefWe believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of advertising in Rajkot.

We keep our rates off this page by choice. After one conversation we write the scope and quote against it. Space, airtime, sites, printing and mounting are billed at the owner's or supplier's price, shown before you approve.

What affects the cost

  • Language: Gujarati, Hindi, English or a mix; each adds a script and sometimes a paper
  • Papers and radio: which dailies and days, how many of the six stations, and whether Akashvani is added
  • Outdoor: some sites add a permission step, and some cannot be used
  • Timing: a festival or fair date decides how early we book

How we quote

  1. A first call and a written media plan naming each paper, station and site, with reasons
  2. Written permission for each outdoor site, checked before it enters the quote
  3. A written line-by-line quote within 2 working days of that first call, which you can approve, trim or turn down

What you get in the quote

  • Each paper, edition, ad size and date
  • Each station, time band and spot count
  • Each outdoor site, its size and the permission on file

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Season burstOne push, such as a Navratri or Uttarayan campaign; timeline confirmed in the quote
Monthly retainerReleases through the year with a monthly enquiry report; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop
/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Planning a Rajkot campaign?

Tell us your key date and your buyer. We'll show which Rajkot media to test first.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We speak every day and share one report a month. We come to Rajkot at least once every three months, and a team member can work from your site when a job needs it.

  • We cannot rank the papers without numbers, and no Rajkot edition is on the ABC member list. So we ask each paper for its reach in your area on your day, run a small test, and compare the cost of each enquiry. Gujarat Samachar and Sandesh both say they publish from Rajkot.

  • It depends on the station, the hour, the spot length and the weeks on air. The government card of 1 June 2017 lists Akashvani's Vividh Bharati for Rajkot at Rs 390, Rs 330 or Rs 280 per 10-second spot, by time band. The four private stations quote their own rates, in writing.

  • We hold no published rates or rules for either, so we do not guess. We ask the airport and the bus operator in writing what space is for sale and on what terms, and show you the reply before you pay. This is general information, not legal advice.

  • Ask every agency, including us, three things. Which paper or station suits my buyer, and why? Can you show written permission for each outdoor site? Will my report count enquiries by medium? Pick the plainest answers, and ask for them in writing.

  • Each medium gets its own phone number, QR code or offer code, used nowhere else. A caller who asks for the radio offer came from radio. Your monthly report counts enquiries by medium and shows what each cost. After a month, we drop what brought nothing.
