/ 01 Webflow developer in India

A site your team can editthe same day.

A site that only a developer can change soon falls behind the business. PromotEdge works as a Webflow developer for Indian businesses: we design and build the site, set up the editor for your team, and tell you plainly when Webflow is the wrong tool.

Webflow is a site builder with a visual designer and a built-in content editor. It suits marketing sites and content-led sites, where a team that is not technical needs to make changes fast.

It is not right for every project. For a large online store we point you to Shopify. For a complex portal or a site with logins, a web application fits better. Already running a site well on WordPress? Rebuilding may not be worth it. We say so before you spend anything.

Webflow is not our only build. We also work on WordPress, Shopify and custom web applications. Our website design and development page shows the full range.

/ 03 Common hurdles

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“Every small change waits in a developer's queue.”

We set up the editor so your team changes text, images and blog posts itself. Webflow has a content editor role made for this.

“We want a designer-grade look, not a heavy build.”

We design your pages from your brand and build them in Webflow's visual designer. You see real pages early.

“We fear staff will break the layout when they edit.”

In Webflow's content editor role, layouts, spacing and styles are locked. Your team edits the content. The design stays safe.

“The website, forms and CRM do not talk to each other.”

We connect the forms, set up analytics and link the CRM, so every enquiry reaches a person and gets counted.

“The old site is hard to change, and moving it feels risky.”

We list the pages that earn visits and enquiries, map every old address to its new one, and test before launch.

“We are not sure Webflow is right for us.”

A short first call settles it. If another platform suits you better, we say so.

/ 04 How we work

Check the fit first, then design, build and hand over.

The time depends on the number of pages and the tools to connect. We confirm it in the quote.

  1. 01

    Check the fit

A short call on what the site must do and who will edit it. We say if another platform suits you better.

  2. 02

    Plan pages and editing

You get a page list, layouts to approve and a list of what your team will edit.

  3. 03

    Design and build

We design the pages, then build them in Webflow on a test address you can click through.

  4. 04

    Connect and test

We connect forms, analytics and the CRM, then test on real phones.

  5. 05

    Launch and hand over

We launch, then walk your team through editing and publishing.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we run it, and why

Our web lead, Benjamin Sardar, leads the project. Our front end developer, Dipannita Raul, builds the pages.

How your business changes the plan

A firm with a content library (see professional services) needs the articles and team pages easy to edit. A software company (see SaaS and tech) needs product and sign-up pages that change often.

  1. Decide who edits what before design starts. Layouts then match how your team works. A list of what your team will edit.
  2. Keep design and content apart. Staff can update content without touching the look. A site that stays tidy after months of edits.
  3. Test every form before launch. A broken form loses enquiries quietly. A tested list of forms.
  4. Teach your team on the live site. People remember what they have done once. A walk-through.

Webflow editing: today and next

Today

Webflow's own lesson on the content editor role says editors can edit text, update images and links, manage blog posts and publish if allowed. They cannot change layouts, spacing or styles, add pages or edit custom code. Webflow says the limits are intentional.

Next

Our view: builders will keep adding helpers that draft layouts. Deciding what your team may edit still needs a person who knows your site. Want us to look at yours? Ask us.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the cost of Webflow development.

No price list. These things move the number.

Every client and project is different. The cost depends on the effort it takes, so we price after the first call. We publish no price list. The first step is a free growth plan: a 30-minute call and a one-page plan, for projects we think we can help.

What affects the cost

  • Number of pages and page types
  • How much blog or news content the site holds
  • How much new design, text and photos the pages need
  • Forms, analytics and the CRM to connect
  • An old site to move, with its addresses to map
  • The Webflow plan the site needs, which we check with you

How we price it

  1. You tell us what the site does today and who will edit it
  2. We look at the old site, if there is one, and your goals
  3. We write the page list and what you receive at each stage
  4. You get the quote in writing within 2 working days, each cost on its own line

What you get in the quote

  • The page list, design and build
  • The editor set-up and the team walk-through
  • Ongoing changes and care, if you choose them (3-month minimum on ongoing work, then 30 days' notice)

We take on a limited number of projects and say honestly if one is not a fit. Comparing quotes? Ask what each includes, and who can edit the site afterwards.

Our beliefOur job is to impress your customers, not you.

/ 06 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

A typical website takes 4 to 6 weeks. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop. A single job, such as one event or one print run, is quoted as one project.

Common questions.

  • Webflow is a site builder with a visual designer and a built-in content editor. It suits marketing sites and content-led sites that a team without a developer must change often. It is a weaker fit for large online stores and login-based apps. We tell you which side your project falls on in the first call.

  • For content, yes. Webflow's content editor role lets staff edit text, images, links and CMS (content system) items such as blog posts, and publish if you allow it. Layouts, styles and page structure stay locked. A new page type or a design change still needs us or another developer.

  • For a large online store, we usually suggest Shopify. For a complex portal or a site with logins, a custom web application fits better. If your team already runs a WordPress site well, a rebuild may not be worth it. We say this before you spend anything.

  • We cannot promise traffic. We list the pages that bring visits and enquiries, map every old address to its new one, set permanent redirects and test before launch. This is the same plan as our SEO migration work. Afterwards we compare your numbers with those noted before.

  • Yes. We connect the enquiry forms so each one reaches the right person, set up analytics so you can count enquiries, and link your CRM so leads land where your sales team works. How we do this depends on your CRM, and we confirm it in the quote.

  • Every client and project is different. The cost depends on the effort it takes, so we price after the first call. We publish no price list. You get a written quote within 2 working days, each cost on its own line. The first step is a free growth plan.
