/ 01 Export website and catalogue

A buyer abroad can't visit you.Your website is the visit.

An overseas buyer checks your website before they write, and leaves if it cannot answer their questions. PromotEdge builds the export company website and the catalogue for Indian makers and traders, planned around what a buyer asks and how fast the enquiry reaches you.

A website takes 4 to 6 weeks.

Our view: a buyer in another country opens your site before they email you. In a minute or two they look for what you make, your certificates, a photo of the factory, how to reach you and your shipping terms. If one is missing, the next supplier is a click away.

Many export sites look fine and still lose enquiries: the form asks too much, replies take days, or the catalogue will not open on a phone. So in export website design we plan the enquiry flow first, as part of website design and development.

This page is for Indian companies that sell abroad. We work from our Kolkata headquarters, with an in-house team of 65+. The work is led by Saurav Agarwal, with Sanjiv Kumar Yadav on market research and buyer lists and Benjamin Sardar, our web lead, on the build. / 02 What usually gets in the way

What gets in the wayand the way through.

“A buyer opens our site and can't tell what we make.”

Give each product line its own page, with clear photos and a plain name. Put the products in the menu and the company story one click away.

“Buyers ask for minimum order, lead time and ports, and we reply days later.”

Answer on the product page: specifications, minimum order quantity (MOQ), lead time, packing, certificates and loading port. State your terms in Incoterms.

“Our catalogue is a heavy file, and nobody opens it.”

Make a light PDF that opens on a phone and forwards on WhatsApp, plus a printed catalogue for fairs. Both use the site's words.

“Enquiries arrive with no country or quantity, and we reply late.”

Keep the form short: name, company, country, product and quantity. Add a WhatsApp button, and reply within one working day.

“Our buyers read another language and sleep when we work.”

Write the key pages in each buyer's language with our language partners, and show your hours with the time zone.

“A new buyer has no reason to trust a stranger.”

Show real proof only: certificates with numbers, your own factory photos, and references who agreed to be named.

/ 04 How we work

How we build itwith you, step by step.

  1. 01

    1. A call, then a one-page plan

In a 30-minute strategist call we ask which products and countries come first. You get a one-page plan, a free growth plan, and we read your site and catalogue as a buyer would.

  2. 02

    2. Gather what a buyer asks for

We need your product list with specifications, minimum order and lead time, certificates, factory photos, ports and Incoterms. Weak photos? We can shoot them. One person on your side owns enquiries.

  3. 03

    3. Write the product pages

Each product line gets a page with a table a buyer can scan, written for Google and AI search with B2B (business to business) SEO. Price terms use Incoterms 2020, the International Chamber of Commerce's standard trade terms.

  4. 04

    4. Design the catalogue that travels

A light PDF for email and WhatsApp and a printed version for fairs, both made from one master file with the site's words and photos. Catalogue design that never disagrees with the site.

  5. 05

    5. Build the enquiry flow and the languages

A short form, a WhatsApp button and a call link feed one list in a CRM (customer relationship management: one place for every enquiry and follow-up). Key pages are written in the language each buyer reads, and a fair or country gets a landing page.

  6. 06

    6. Test, launch and report

We test the form, call link and WhatsApp at phone width before launch. Each month the report shows enquiries by country and product. We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck.

/ 05 Cost

What affects the cost of an export website and catalogue.

No price list. These things move the number.

We don't publish a price list. A written quote, against a written scope, follows within 2 working days of the first call.

What affects the cost

  • Product pages. How many product lines get a page.
  • Languages. How many buyer languages are needed.
  • Photos. Whether you have good factory and product photos.
  • Catalogue. The PDF pages, and whether you want a printed version.

How we quote

  1. We talk for 30 minutes about your products, your buyers and your site
  2. We read your site and catalogue as a buyer would, then write a one-page plan
  3. A written quote follows within 2 working days. Nothing starts until you approve

What you get in the quote

  • Product pages and a light PDF catalogue
  • The form, WhatsApp button and enquiry list
  • Key pages in your buyers' languages, quoted separately
  • A phone-width test and a monthly report

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Project feeWebsite and catalogue, built once. A website takes 4 to 6 weeks; we confirm other timelines in the quote
Monthly retainerUpdates and the monthly report. SEO (search engine optimisation) usually shows results in 3 to 6 months. Minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice

Printing is billed at actual cost. Ask any agency whether the form, WhatsApp and catalogue are inside the figure.

/ 06 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

A typical website takes 4 to 6 weeks. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Our beliefWe look at your business first. Marketing comes second.

For Indian makers, traders and exporters

Send us your site and catalogue. We'll read them the way a buyer abroad would.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • An overseas buyer looks for what you make, your certificates, factory photos, a way to contact you and your shipping terms. Each product page should show specifications, minimum order, lead time and loading port. Add a short enquiry form and a WhatsApp button.

  • Use one short form, a WhatsApp button and a phone link, all feeding one list. Ask for country, product and quantity. Reply within one working day from a ready template, and show your working hours with the time zone so a buyer abroad knows when to expect an answer.

  • An export catalogue is the document a buyer forwards to colleagues: products, specifications, packing, certificates and contact details. A light PDF opens on a phone and travels on email or WhatsApp. We also make a printed version for trade fairs, with the same words and photos as the site, so both agree.

  • Yes, through our language partners, who write French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Korean and more. We start with the product pages and the enquiry form for your first one or two markets. Translation is a separate line in the quote, so you add only the languages you need.

  • Not yet, and we say so plainly. Our nearest work is a website for Fine Organic Industries, a chemicals maker, and one for iLead, an education institute. Both are website work, not export work. We make no promise of buyers or orders. We offer a clear plan, a tested site and honest monthly reports.

  • A website takes 4 to 6 weeks, once we have your product details, photos and certificates. Late material is the usual cause of delay. SEO (search engine optimisation) usually shows results in 3 to 6 months. We confirm the catalogue and translation timelines in the quote.

  • We don't publish a price list, because two exporters rarely need the same site. The cost depends on the number of product pages, the languages, the photos and the catalogue. A 30-minute call comes first, and a written quote follows within 2 working days.
