/ 01 Advertising agency in Nashik

Press, radio and boards, each tested before the next.

An advertising agency in Nashik earns its fee by tying each rupee of media to one kind of buyer, then proving which rupee made the phone ring. PromotEdge plans and books Marathi and English press, FM and Akashvani radio, and permitted outdoor sites for Nashik's hotels, traders, makers and wineries, and counts the calls from each.

Mainline advertising means paid space in papers, on radio and on boards. This page covers only what is different about Nashik. Our advertising service page shows how we plan it anywhere, and the Nashik overview covers the rest of the city.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We speak every day, and we visit Nashik at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

/ 03 Why Nashik needs its own plan

Five facts that shape a Nashik media plan.

Each comes from a public source, checked on 4 October 2026. Two are here, and three more are in the fold below.

1. Radio has few voices, so a test is quick. The government's list of 30 March 2026 shows four private FM stations in Nashik, at 93.5, 95.0, 98.3 and 104.2 MHz. Akashvani's local station is at 101.4 MHz. With five frequencies, a month on two of them soon shows which one your buyers hear.

2. A board needs the city's permission. The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has an Advertisement and Licence department. It permits sky signs and hoardings that stay long, temporary boards and greeting boards. It also auctions NMC-owned open spaces. So the permit comes before the site is paid for.

The other three facts: the audited papers, the 2027 Kumbh and its road work, and the visitors who arrive by air.

The Nashik market for advertising

3. Two audited papers, one in each language. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), which checks newspaper sales, lists Daily Sakal in Marathi and The Times of India in English as Nashik editions. Other papers may print here as well, because the list shows members only. The district website says Marathi is the language spoken here, so a Marathi paper is often the first test. Newspaper advertising works best with one clear offer and a phone number made for that paper.

4. The 2027 Kumbh will change the roads. Nashik is one of four places that hold the Kumbh Mela, the big river-bathing gathering, every 12 years. Here it is called the Simhastha Kumbh. NMC says the last one was in 2015-16. The next is listed for 2027. We found no official dates, bathing days or crowd numbers, so we give none. NMC's works page lists 39 projects. They include road work on 27 routes, 4 bridge or ramp projects, 2 hospital facilities and 1 facility for the akhadas, the two main groups of sadhus. It shows no date. A board on a road that is dug up helps nobody, so we confirm the route before we book the site.

5. Visitors arrive by air as well. The Airports Authority of India counted 4,23,634 passengers at Nashik (HAL Ozar) airport in 2025-26 (April to March), up 24.2% from 3,41,112 the year before. A hotel, a taxi service or a restaurant may want its message on the roads and in the papers that arriving guests meet first. Our travel and tourism page shows how those buyers decide.

/ 04 Nashik's media and rules

What is on offer, and what needs care.

Nashik has five radio frequencies, one Marathi daily and one English daily on the audited list. The city office permits boards, and its fee table is not public. The next Kumbh is in 2027, with road work planned on 27 routes.

ItemWhat the public record saysHow we use it
Private FMFour stations at 93.5, 95.0, 98.3 and 104.2 MHz. Nashik is category C on the ministry's list of 30 March 2026.Pick by listener and hour, then compare each station's written rate.
AkashvaniLocal Radio Station Nasik, 101.4 MHz. The government's card is dated 1 June 2017 and prices by programme type.A 2017 card is only a guide. We ask the station for its current rate before any booking.
DailiesDaily Sakal (Marathi) and The Times of India (English) are Audit Bureau of Circulations members with a Nashik edition. The list shows members only. We ask every paper for its own reach figures.
Who permits boardsNMC's Advertisement and Licence department is headed by a Deputy Commissioner. It also gives lodging licences. One office for most outdoor questions. We write to it before a site is booked.
Online permit servicesNMC's civic-services portal lists four: temporary advertisement permission, "NMC Board 10-10 advt", long-term advertisement permission and long-term renewal. The pages show no fee table or document list without a login. We quote no board fee because none is public. We prepare the form and track renewal dates.
Simhastha Kumbh, 2027Held every 12 years. NMC says the last was in 2015-16. The next is listed for 2027 (Wikipedia). NMC's works page lists 39 projects, with road work on 27 routes, and shows no date.No official dates or crowd numbers were found, so none is used. We book boards on a route only when its work is clear.
Where crowds gatherThe district's tourism page lists Ramkund (2 km from the central bus station), Panchavati and Someshwar temple (8 km, Gangapur road). Trimbakeshwar is about 25 to 30 km away, as the two official pages differ. We study foot and road traffic at a site before we suggest it.
Air arrivalsNashik (HAL Ozar) airport: 4,23,634 passengers in 2025-26, up 24.2% from 3,41,112 (Airports Authority of India).More visitors by air makes hotel and taxi ads on the way into town worth a test.
LanguageThe district website says Marathi is the language spoken in the district.First drafts of press, radio and board messages are written in Marathi.

Rows checked against their sources on 4 October 2026. Naming a paper or station does not make it our partner. The outdoor rows are general information, not legal advice.

/ 05 How a Nashik campaign runs

From first callto counted calls.

The full steps are in the fold below.

  1. 01

    Start with the buyer

Who buys from you, where they live or stay, which language they read, and your busiest month.

  2. 02

    Choose the media

Which paper, which stations and hours, and outdoor only on permitted sites along your buyers' routes.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

Steps 3 to 6: clearing each board, writing and booking, releasing with proof, and counting the calls.

How the work runs in Nashik
  1. Clear each site For every board we ask NMC's Advertisement and Licence department which of its services applies, prepare the form and note the renewal date. No fee table is public, so we quote none.
  2. Write, then book One idea, written fresh in Marathi and English by our language partners, and sized for each paper, spot and board. We believe in process. Good results should repeat, not happen by luck. Nothing is booked before your yes.
  3. Release with proof You get a copy of each ad, the station's log and dated photos of each board, so you can see what ran and when.
  4. Count what came back Each medium gets its own phone number, QR code or offer code. Your monthly report shows the cost per call from each, and we move money to what worked.
/ 06 Cost

What changes the cost of advertising in Nashik.

We don't publish a price list. After a first call we write the scope, then quote against it. Space, airtime, permits, printing and mounting are billed at the owner's or supplier's price, shown before you approve.

What affects the cost

  • Language: Marathi, English or both; each adds a script and often a paper
  • Media: which paper and ad size, how many of the five radio frequencies, and how many spots
  • Outdoor: each board needs the city's permission, and some sites may not be available
  • Timing: the 2027 Kumbh year is likely to be crowded, so ask early

How we quote

  1. A video call about your buyers and your last quarter's enquiries
  2. A written media plan naming each paper, station and site, with reasons
  3. The city's permission checked for each board before it enters the quote
  4. A written quote within 2 working days of the first call, line by line, which you can approve, trim or turn down

What you get in the quote

  • Each paper, edition, ad size, language and date
  • Each station, time band, spot length and spot count
  • Each board, its size, months and permission on file

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Season burstOne push, such as a sale month or a launch; timeline confirmed in the quote
Monthly retainerReleases through the year with a monthly count of calls by medium; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop

Two more things that move your quote, and a plain word on results.

What else changes the cost in Nashik

The number of boards. Each board needs its own permission and its own renewal date, so ten boards mean ten files to keep.

How involved you are. We can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results. Tell us your busiest month and your last quarter's enquiries, and the first plan gets sharper.

Our beliefWe'd rather show you results than a nice presentation.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Advertising in Nashik?

Tell us who buys and when. We'll say which medium to test first.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We speak every day and share one report a month. We come to Nashik at least once every three months, and for site checks or a launch when needed. A team member can also work from your site.

  • Ask each agency for a real monthly report with the client's name hidden. Ask who writes the Marathi copy, who applies to NMC for your board, and who owns the booking. Ask what it would not buy with your budget. Pick the plainest answers, ours included.

  • NMC's Advertisement and Licence department permits long-term boards and temporary ones, and its portal lists four online services. The pages we read show no fee table without a login, so we quote no fee. We prepare the form and track renewal dates. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

  • Each private station sets its own rate, so ask for it in writing. Akashvani's local station, at 101.4 MHz, publishes a government rate card dated 1 June 2017. Treat that card as a guide, and ask the station for today's rate before you book.

  • Not yet. We found no official dates, and NMC's works page lists road work on 27 routes with no date, so some roads may change. Start what needs no dates now: the permit form, the Marathi message and your Google listing. Book the site once the routes are clear.

  • Radio and press can bring calls on the days they run, if the message is clear and the phone number is made for that medium. Boards work slowly, by being seen again and again. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Each month you see the calls by medium, so you keep what works.
