A good story, told in the reader'sown language.

Nobody can buy a story in the news, and nobody honest can promise one. PromotEdge finds the news in your firm and pitches it to the right desks, for tech, pharma and local firms, so that buyers hear of you from a source they trust.

PR means public relations: getting reporters to talk about you. An ad is paid for. A story is earned, so no one can promise coverage, and we won't. We're professionals, and we'd rather be blunt than pleasing: if your story is not news, we will say so.

Our servicing team is based in cities across India. We work with you on calls and shared drafts, and we come to Hyderabad for press meets and launches. Many buyers here are software firms and healthcare companies. Our public relations page explains PR anywhere in India. Compare it with PR in Mumbai or PR in Bangalore.

/ 03 Why Hyderabad PR is different

Many desks, three scripts, two busy beats.

Four public facts shape our plan. Checked on 4 October 2026.

Telugu news lives on TV as much as on paper. TV9 Telugu lists its office on Road No. 3, Banjara Hills. NTV Telugu, run by Rachana Television, lists Road No. 92, Jubilee Hills. So a story needs a picture and a Telugu speaker.

Urdu and English papers have readers of their own. Since a 2017 amendment, Urdu is Telangana's second official language, with 12.69% of the state speaking it, per the Bill's own statement. Each version is written afresh.

The tech beat gets a flood of news. The state IT department counted 9,05,715 people in IT and IT-enabled jobs in 2022-23. Telangana also had 12,520+ government-recognised startups on 31 March 2026, as Inc42 reported. Funding notes crowd the desks, so yours needs a number or a first.

Health stories are checked hard and read on phones. The state's life sciences portal claims 2000+ companies in Telangana. TRAI counted 37.66 million internet subscribers in Telangana in March 2026. Reporters know the science.

/ 05 How a Hyderabad PR plan runs

Five steps,one honest report.

  1. 01

    Find the story

A long call with your leaders. The faster they answer, the sooner a note goes out.

  2. 02

    Choose the desks

Telugu TV, a paper in one of three scripts, or the tech, pharma and trade reporters. Only where your readers are.

  3. 03

    Write and prepare

Notes in each language, photos, a fact sheet and a practised speaker.

  4. 04

    Pitch and follow up

Short, personal pitches, then quick answers to every question. Press meets only when the news needs one.

  5. 05

    Report what ran

Each clipping and video, with outlet, date and message. We also list what did not run.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A software firm needs a number or a first customer. A pharma or lab firm needs checked claims and a calm tone. A local consumer brand needs a picture and a Telugu voice.

  1. Ask what changed in the business. Reporters print news, not announcements. A list of real story angles.
  2. Write each language fresh. A word-for-word translation reads badly in any paper. Three notes, one per desk.
  3. Report the misses too. Good results should repeat, so we keep a record. A report with what did not run.

Go deeper: Hyderabad's desks and clusters

Business desks and clusters

A state release in August 2024 said over 200 GCCs (in-house tech offices of foreign firms) work in Hyderabad, as the press reported. The state calls Genome Valley home to "250+ biotech and pharma companies from 18 countries". That is the state's own claim.

Other desks and a life sciences date

The Times of India, The Hindu and The Economic Times have Hyderabad editions on the ABC list. There are 8 private FM stations. BioAsia held its 23rd edition at HITEX on 17 and 18 February 2026.

AI in PR: today and next

Today: Google AI Overviews

Google says AI Overviews give a snapshot with key information and links to dig deeper, and warns that AI responses may include mistakes. Our view: clear stories on trusted sites give such answers something to link to. Check what they say about your firm.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of PR in Hyderabad.

No price list. These things move the number.

We don't publish a price list. After a first call we write the scope and quote within 2 working days. Venue hire, travel and photography are passed on at actual cost.

What affects the cost

  • Languages. Each of Telugu, Urdu and English needs its own writing.
  • Beats. Tech, pharma and city desks need different angles.
  • TV readiness. Practice for a speaker who will face Telugu cameras.
  • Story count. One launch, or a steady run each month.
  • Press meets. Whether the news needs a room, and the travel to run it.

How we quote

  1. A first call about your news, speakers and readers
  2. A short review of what has been written about you in Hyderabad
  3. A written scope of stories, languages, desks and dates, which you can trim

What you get in the quote

  • Story angles and the desks for each
  • Notes in your chosen languages, a fact sheet and photos
  • Speaker preparation and quick replies to reporters
  • A report of what ran and what did not

Comparing quotes? Ask whether any coverage is paid. Pay-per-story offers reward volume, not the right readers.

Our beliefOur job is to impress your customers, not you.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Have news to share in Hyderabad?

Tell us your story. We'll tell you honestly if it's news.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • We serve Hyderabad with a servicing team based in cities across India. The work runs hybrid and remote, on video calls and shared drafts. We meet you in Hyderabad regularly, and our team can be at your venue for press meets and launches.

  • It finds the news in your business and helps reporters tell it. It picks the angle, writes the notes, prepares your speaker and pitches the right desks. Then it reports honestly on what ran and what did not, so you can judge the work.

  • No, and nobody honest can. Editors decide what runs. We name these outlets as part of Hyderabad's media, not as our contacts. What we promise is the work: a real angle, a clean note, a ready speaker and fast follow-up.

  • Often more than one. Our language partners write in Telugu, Urdu, Hindi and English. Telugu reaches the widest group and most news channels. Urdu has been the second official language since 2017. English is where most tech and pharma news starts. We write each version fresh.

  • It needs more care. Reporters on this beat understand science, so every claim must be true and provable. Your medical or legal team signs off each note. Stories on research or a new plant work well. Promises about cures do not. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

  • Real news can be covered within days. Being known on a beat takes several months of steady stories. Judge PR by where you were covered, then by enquiries that mention it. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Ongoing work has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
