Plant films, product demos, ad films and fair loops for Coimbatore firms, written and edited around what your buyer needs to see. Nothing is filmed until you sign off what the film must prove.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
A buyer who will never visit your plant decides on what your film shows, so a Coimbatore maker's video has to prove the product, not praise it. PromotEdge scripts, plans and edits plant films, product demos and fair videos for pump, textile, auto-part and jewellery makers, so that buyers who never visit can still judge your work.
The district administration counts more than 25,000 industries in Coimbatore. Most sell to people who will never see their shop floor: a dealer in another state, a buyer abroad, a car maker's purchase team. A film is how they look inside.
Since 2015 we have worked with Indian brands. Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and an in-house team of 65+ plans and writes each film, mostly online in hybrid mode. On a Coimbatore shoot day, the same team films, with industry consultants or a partner agency where a job needs them.
All our film types are on the national video production page, and our other city services on the Coimbatore overview. Here we answer one question: what must a Coimbatore maker's film prove?
What works for one pump brand may not suit its rival, so we never copy a film plan between firms.
Your pump on the test bench, readings on screen. A two-minute cut for export buyers, and a 30-second one for dealers' WhatsApp groups.
02Spinning lines, looms or a machine being built, filmed between shifts. A long film for buyer meetings, and short clips for hiring.
03A TVC is a TV commercial. For wet grinders and kitchen products, the Tamil script comes first, written by language partners. Then come the TV, YouTube and Instagram cuts.
04For auto-part, defence and jewellery units. Gauges, inspection and clean areas, shown the way a buyer's audit team checks them.
05Silent loops for your screen in the CODISSIA halls, and a first-day reel edited overnight for day two.
06No camera sees water moving through an impeller. 3D animation can, and your engineers check every frame.

Six public facts, and what each one changes in the script. One is here, and five are in the fold below.
1. Pumps are judged on the test bench. The district administration calls Coimbatore "the pump city of Asia", supplying over 40% of India's requirements of pumps and motors. Those are its words. Buyers have seen plenty of shiny pumps. What convinces them is yours running under test, with the readings on screen.
Five more public facts about Coimbatore's makers and what each one changes in the script.
2. Textiles since 1888. The district's site dates the first textile mill to 1888 and calls the city "the textile capital of South India". SITRA, the South India Textile Research Association, has done textile research and testing here since 1956. Mill buyers trust tested numbers, so we film your quality lab, not just the hall.
3. Seven hundred grinder makers, one shared tag. The district counts more than 700 wet grinder makers. The city corporation lists "Coimbatore Wet Grinder" and "Kovai Cora Cotton" as Geographical Indications (GI). These are names, protected by law, that tie a product to its home. So your ad must show what is yours alone. We mention the GI only after seeing your registration.
4. Car parts, gold and defence. The district calls Coimbatore an outsourcing hub for auto components, and a major gold jewellery hub. It is also one of five nodes of the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor. These buyers limit what a camera may see. Drawings, customer names and strong rooms stay out of frame, agreed in writing first.
5. Fairs bring buyers to town. CODISSIA is the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association. Its machine-tool fair, INTEC 2026, listed 625+ exhibitors and 44,779+ business visitors. INTEC is listed again for 1 to 5 June 2028. Nobody hears a stall screen on a busy floor, so stall films need big text and no voice.
6. Tamil cinema sets the bar. Tamil Nadu's film industry is based in Chennai. Wikipedia calls Pollachi, a town in this district, a popular Tamil film location. Viewers here notice weak sound or flat acting. Wikipedia also notes that Kongu Tamil, a local dialect, is widely spoken. So a home-product ad should sound like the buyer's own town. Our language partners write and voice the Tamil.
Coimbatore has over 25,000 industries, so many of your viewers are business buyers who know your product. Show the test bay or quality lab first, not the basics. Keep shoot dates clear of festival holidays, and ask permission for outdoor spots.
| Topic | What the source says | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Industry base | More than 25,000 industries (district administration). | Plan for B2B (business-to-business) viewers who know your product. Skip the basics. |
| Pumps and motors | Over 40% of India's requirements, in the district administration's words. | Test-bay shots first. Drone shots only if a buyer needs them. |
| Wet grinders | More than 700 makers. "Coimbatore Wet Grinder" is a recognised GI. | Show your difference. Use the GI only with your registration in hand. |
| Textiles | First textile mill in 1888. SITRA, set up in 1956, does textile research and testing. | Film the quality lab and the numbers behind your yarn or fabric. |
| Gold jewellery | A major gold jewellery hub, and a diamond cutting and polishing centre (district administration). | Close-up lenses, steady light and a security plan agreed before filming. |
| Software firms | "The second largest software producer in Tamil Nadu, next only to Chennai" (district). TIDEL Park has space for 13,500 people. | Hiring films, shot where people really work. |
| Trade fairs | Next INTEC: 1 to 5 June 2028. Wikipedia says CODISSIA also runs Agri Intex, a farm fair, and Elektrotec, a renewable energy fair. | Lock the script by March for a June fair. |
| Places to film | Wikipedia calls Pollachi a popular Tamil film location. The district's tourism list names Valparai, a hill station. | We check the permission for each outdoor spot before fixing a date. |
| Buyers who fly in | 2,97,760 international passengers at Coimbatore airport in 2025-26, up 13.1% (Airports Authority of India). | Send your plant film before a buyer books a visit. |
| Holidays, 2026 | Ayudha Pooja (19 October) and Deepavali (8 November) are state public holidays (news reports). | We keep shoot dates clear of them, unless you want festive footage. |

A volleyball league's reel, not a Coimbatore film. Speed like this matters at a five-day fair like INTEC.
“I have seen the first cut of the reel which they shot the first day, and they gave us on the morning of the second day. … This is just fabulous and the commitment they have shown.”

Five steps in all. The first two are here, and the other three are in the fold below.
A video call with you and your sales head. Which buyer must be convinced, and what do they doubt?
Our writers draft the English, and our language partners the Tamil. With you, we decide if the Tamil voice should sound statewide or Kongu.
Steps 3 to 5: the floor walk and shoot, testing the opening, and the edit.
Light, noise, furnace heat and no-go areas are checked first. The shoot, usually one or two days, runs around your shifts.
What can't be measured can't be achieved. If the film will run as an ad, we test two or three openings on a small budget. The one people finish gets the money.
Edit and sound are done by our team, with subtitle text from our language partners. You review each cut on a video call.
No price list. These things move the number.
Free plan: a 30-minute call with a strategist and a one-page plan. We don't publish a price list. After a first call we agree the script and shot list, then quote line by line, with travel, voice artists and permissions at actuals.
| Way of working | When it fits |
|---|---|
| One film, agreed scope | One plant or product film and its short cuts; timeline confirmed in the quote |
| Fair kit | Stall loop, day-one reel and a recap for one trade fair |
| Footage bank | One shoot that feeds dealer clips and ads for months |
Four more things that move the quote, and what to line up when you compare quotes.
Close-up work, such as macro lenses for jewellery or test-bench readings
Tamil and English versions: a voice artist, subtitles or both
3D animation for parts a camera can't reach
Crew travel to Coimbatore, until a camera team in the city is confirmed
Comparing quotes? Line up shoot days, language versions and who owns the raw footage. Then ask who has filmed inside a running plant.
For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.
In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.
A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.
If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.
We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.
The expertise that fits your business, and the places we work.
Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. We speak with you every working day, and cut reviews happen on video calls. At least once every three months, we come to Coimbatore to meet you. When a job needs it, a team member works from your plant.
We won't claim that, and nobody can prove it. We're professionals. We'd rather be blunt than pleasing. Ask each firm three things. Have you filmed inside a running plant? Will I see a script before the quote? Who keeps the raw footage? Pick the clearest answers, and ask us too.
Usually, yes, with your safety head in charge. We agree the no-go areas, the safety gear and the gap between shifts. Furnace and test-bay shots are planned first. Tell us your safety rules and shift times early, and we plan every shot around them.
Inside your own plant, the permission is yours. Roads, public places, hills and dams usually need one. We found no published single-window process for Coimbatore, so we check each spot before fixing a date. Share your spot list early, and we tell you which ones need a permit.
Yes, if both are planned from the script. Our language partners write and record the Tamil voice-over and subtitles. Kongu Tamil is widely spoken here, Wikipedia notes, so a home-product ad may need a local voice. We leave room for longer Tamil lines on screen. For export buyers, they can voice French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese or Korean versions.
INTEC runs from 1 to 5 June 2028. Start the script early that year, and shoot once your newest machine runs. Finish the stall loop a few weeks ahead, so it can be tested on the stall's own screen. We confirm the timeline in the quote.
