Most business writing talks about the seller. Words that answer what buyers ask bring the enquiries.

Pages your buyers read.Words your sales team uses.

A page that praises the seller and ignores the buyer's question gets read once and forgotten. PromotEdge offers content writing services to companies across India: website pages, blogs, case studies and sales material that help buyers understand what you sell and get in touch.

Most firms we meet already know the facts. What is missing is the buyer's order of questions: price, delivery, how you compare, what happens after. We start with your sales team's top ten.

Need the plan as well as the words? Our content marketing programme starts one step earlier.

/ 03 Common hurdles

What usually gets in the way,and the way through.

“The website text was written in a rush at launch.”

We rewrite the pages buyers visit most, starting with those that get traffic but no enquiries.

“Eighty blog posts, and not one enquiry.”

We check which get read, fix the few that are close, and merge or drop the rest.

“Cheap freelance drafts took longer to fix than to write.”

We interview your expert first, so the draft starts from what you know.

“The experts know the subject but can't spare a day.”

A 30-minute call is enough for most pieces. We write the draft, and they only check it.

“Product listings copy the maker's spec sheet.”

We keep the specifications, then add who it is for and what to check before buying.

“The managing director should post on LinkedIn, but there is no time.”

Half an hour a month becomes posts in their voice, approved by them.

/ 05 How we work

One page first,then the rest.

Planning ranges, not promises. How fast your experts reply sets the real pace.

  1. 01

    Week 1: listen

A call with your sales team. We collect the ten questions buyers ask most.

  2. 02

    Week 1 to 2: brief

We agree the reader and the question. Our SEO (search engine optimisation) team adds the words buyers type.

  3. 03

Week 2 to 3: first piece

A 30-minute expert interview, a draft, an editor's fact check and one round of changes.

  4. 04

Weeks 4 to 10: test small

The page goes live. We watch enquiries and Search Console for six to eight weeks. What can't be measured can't be achieved.

  5. 05

    After that: scale what works

The rest follows in the same voice. Pieces that don't work are rewritten or dropped.

How we deliver it, and why

How your business model changes the plan

A dealer-led B2B (business-to-business) firm needs product and dealer pages. A D2C (direct-to-customer) brand needs listings and buying guides. A services firm needs case studies and a leader's voice.

  1. Interview your expert for 30 minutes. The people who do the work hold the answers a blank page cannot. A draft built on your facts.
  2. Write from the buyer's question. A page that answers one question is found and trusted faster. A brief: reader, question, next step.
  3. Check every fact. One wrong claim can cost a buyer's trust. An editor's check, then your expert's OK.
  4. Test one page, then scale. Six to eight weeks of enquiries show if the voice works. A plain read of calls and Search Console.

AI in content writing: today and next

Today: Google's view

Google says generative AI can help with research and with adding structure to original content. It warns that many pages made without adding value may break its spam policy on scaled content, and asks for a manual fact-check before publishing.

Source: Google Search Central, using generative AI content, last updated 1 October 2026, read 10 October 2026

Next

Our view: first drafts will keep getting faster, and so will the pile of near-identical pages. What stands out is your expert's real answer and a checked fact. Want us to look at where AI could save your writers time? Ask us.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of content writing.

No price list. These things move the number.

We quote against a written scope. Design, printing and paid promotion are quoted apart, only if you need them.

What affects the cost

  • How many pieces, and how long each one is
  • How technical the subject is, and how much research it needs
  • How many experts we interview, and for how long
  • Whether a piece needs a search brief, or writing only
  • Review rounds, and how many people approve each piece
  • Languages other than English

How we quote

  1. We talk for 30 minutes about your buyers and what you need written, and read what you have now.
  2. We send a scope: each piece, its length and who approves.
  3. You get a quote within 2 working days, each piece on its own line.

What you get in the quote

  • The pieces, with the job of each
  • Research and interviews
  • Review rounds
  • Search briefs, where a piece must rank

When you compare quotes, skip the price per word. Ask who researches, who checks the facts and how many rounds are included.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Our beliefWe can't do magic alone. The more involved you are, the faster you see results.

No pressure. No sales pitch.

Send us your buyers' top ten questions. We'll show you the first page.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

Straight answers.

  • Research, interviews, writing, editing and fact-checking. You get finished text for your website, blog, case studies, brochures, emails, LinkedIn or product listings. A good writer also tells you what to write first, and checks later whether it brought enquiries. We quote against a written scope.

  • Copywriting asks for the sale: ads, headlines, landing pages and product listings. Content writing earns trust first: articles, guides and case studies that answer questions. Most businesses need both, and we write both. A product page often needs a bit of each.

  • Nobody can honestly claim to be the best, so we won't. Ask every writer, including us, four things. Who interviews our experts? Who checks the facts? Can we see a piece for a business like ours? How will we know it brought enquiries?

  • We use AI tools for research, outlines and editing. A person writes every piece and checks every fact. Google allows AI tools if the pages add value and the facts are checked; its own words are under Go deeper. We never publish an unedited machine draft.

  • Our in-house team of 65+ people, with industry consultants and partner agencies where a job needs them. We learn your subject from your experts, not the internet. In industrial manufacturing, healthcare or real estate, every claim is checked before your team approves it.

  • Yes. Our servicing team is based in cities across India and stays in touch every day. Interviews happen on video calls, drafts are shared online, we visit at least once every three months, and when a job needs it, we sit at your site.

  • By enquiries, not word counts. For each page we track visits, enquiries, calls, WhatsApp messages and the searches it shows up for in Search Console. We tell you which pieces work. If your problem isn't the writing, we say so.

  • Ongoing content writing has a 3-month minimum, long enough to publish, measure and adjust. After that you can stop with 30 days' notice. We usually begin with one page, so you hear the voice and see the enquiries before you commit to more.
