/ 01 PR agency in Jaipur

A Hindi-first press.A story it will want to print.

A PR agency in Jaipur cannot promise coverage, because editors choose what runs, and the Hindi note has to come first. PromotEdge turns your news into Hindi and English stories for Jaipur's jewellers, hotels and startups, so that buyers read about you in papers they trust.

PR (public relations) is the work of getting people who are not you to tell your story. That could be a business reporter, a features editor or a radio host. Ad space is bought. A news report is earned. So an honest agency can't promise you one.

Jaipur's big papers print in Hindi and run editions across Rajasthan, so a sharp story can travel. The catch: the city also makes national news for its literature festival, its investor summits and its heritage. Your news has to stand out in that crowd. We look at your business first. Marketing comes second, so we ask what is truly new before we write a word.

How we run PR in general is on our public relations services page. Our other work for the city is on the Jaipur page.

Where our team sits, our language partners and how we meet you.

How we work with you in Jaipur

Our servicing team is based in cities across India, with language partners who write the Hindi notes. Most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode: we meet you on a video call first, then stay in touch every day. In person, we see you in Jaipur at least once every three months, and for interviews and press meets when the news calls for it. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

/ 02 Our PR work for Jaipur

Six jobs we take onfor Jaipur firms.

01

Hindi notes, written fresh

A Patrika or Bhaskar reporter gets a note written for Hindi readers, not a rough translation. Our language partners write it, and our team checks the facts.

02

Investment and unit news

A new unit at Sitapura or Mahindra World City, an export order, an MoU. Signed facts only, and plans labelled as plans.

03

Founder and maker profiles

Gem houses, jewellers and the block printers of Sanganer and Bagru, whose crafts have GI (geographical indication) filings. Profiles work when the person has a view worth quoting.

04

Literature-week stories

For publishers, authors, hotels and craft brands with a true link to JLF or Jaipur BookMark.

05

Startup and funding news

iStart Rajasthan, the state's startup platform, showed 9,490 startups in September 2026. A funding round is news when the numbers are real.

06

Reputation and hard days

A holding statement, one trained speaker and a check of what shows up when people search your name.

What we believe

Our job is to impress your customers, not you.

/ 03 What shapes PR in Jaipur

Hindi dailies, festival weeks and big business promises.

Five things about Jaipur decide how we plan a story here.

The press reads Hindi first, and it reaches the whole state. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) checks the sales of member papers. Its Hindi members with a Jaipur edition are Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Bhaskar and Punjab Kesari. Patrika says it has 38 editions in eight states. Bhaskar has printed in Jaipur since 1996, and in Jodhpur and Udaipur since the late 1990s. So the Hindi note is your main version, not an extra.

Four more things about Jaipur's press: English desks, literature month, big business promises and heritage stories.

The Jaipur market for PR

English desks are fewer, so each one counts. The Times of India and The Economic Times are the English ABC members with a Jaipur edition. First India calls itself "Rajasthan's own English Newspaper". English suits investor news, export stories and news meant for readers outside the state.

January is literature month. The next Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) runs 14-18 January 2027 at Hotel Clarks Amer. Its organisers call it the 20th edition. Jaipur BookMark runs alongside, and the festival's site calls it "South Asia's biggest annual publishing conclave". The Kite Festival falls on 14 January 2027 too, by the Rajasthan Tourism calendar. That week the pages are full. Unless your news has a real link to books or the festival, pick another week.

Business news here often starts as a promise. The Rising Rajasthan investor summit ran on 9-11 December 2024 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura. On day one, IANS reported the government's claim of proposals worth "approximately ₹30 lakh crore". These were MoUs (memoranda of understanding: signed letters of intent), not money spent. GJEPC, the gem and jewellery export council, calls Jaipur "the global centre for coloured gemstones", with exports over USD 2 billion in FY 2024-25. A gems bourse (a central trading hall) is planned in Sitapura, with possession from 2028. If your firm signed an MoU or plans a unit there, write "plans to", not "has". Reporters check.

Heritage stories need care. UNESCO put the walled city on its World Heritage List in 2019. On 7 August 2026, the Rajasthan High Court ordered a stop to unapproved building work there. It asked the authorities to "restore the heritage look of the Pink City", starting with four market roads, including Johri Bazaar Road and Choura Rasta. The case was listed again for 7 September 2026, and we have not checked what happened. If your shop or hotel is on those roads, a makeover story touches a live court matter. We keep it to plain facts, and your lawyer reads it first.

/ 04 Jaipur's press and news diary

Who prints what, and which weeks to avoid.

Jaipur's big Hindi papers, Patrika and Bhaskar, have Jaipur editions and radio arms. Newspaper city pages fill with festival news in January and April. Plan your launch a week away from a festival, and write the note in Hindi first.

WhatIn JaipurHow we use it
Hindi dailies (ABC list)Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Bhaskar and Punjab Kesari have a Jaipur edition.Shop owners, dealers, families and staff read these. The note starts in Hindi.
Patrika's reachFounded in 1956 by Karpoor Chandra Kulish. 38 editions in eight states, by the paper's own page.A story with interest beyond Jaipur can be offered to other editions.
Bhaskar in RajasthanJaipur edition from 19 December 1996, Jodhpur from 3 August 1997, Udaipur from 31 May 1998.Dealer news for western or southern Rajasthan can go to those city desks.
English pressThe Times of India and The Economic Times (ABC, Jaipur edition). First India, which calls itself "Rajasthan's own English Newspaper".Investor, export and policy stories. Speakers need clean numbers.
RadioSix private FM stations, at 91.1, 93.5, 94.3, 95.0, 98.3 and 104.0 MHz (government list, 30 March 2026). Two are run by the groups behind Dainik Bhaskar and Rajasthan Patrika. Akashvani is on 101.2 and 100.3 MHz.Talk slots suit experts with useful advice. Pitch the paper and its radio arm as two separate desks.
Literature weeksJLF, 14-18 January 2027, Hotel Clarks Amer (the 20th edition, say its organisers), with Jaipur BookMark alongside.Pitch in December. In festival week, only stories with a real link get space.
Festival datesKite Festival, 14 January 2027. Gangaur, 9-10 April 2027 (Rajasthan Tourism calendar). The IIFA film awards came to Jaipur in 2025.City pages fill with festival photos. Plan launches a week away, unless your story is the festival.
Investment newsRising Rajasthan was held at JECC, Sitapura, on 9-11 December 2024. A gems bourse covering 43,828 sq m is planned in Sitapura, with possession from 2028.Follow-up stories land when work starts on the ground: land, hiring, first output.
Heritage and city rulesUNESCO World Heritage walled city since 2019. High Court order of 7 August 2026 on four market roads. One Jaipur Municipal Corporation with 150 wards since November 2025 (PTI).Civic and heritage stories need checked facts and a lawyer's read before they go out.

Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. Papers, stations and festivals are named as facts about Jaipur, not as our clients, partners or contacts.

/ 05 How a Jaipur PR plan runs

From one video callto a story in a Jaipur paper.

The first two steps are here. Steps 3 to 6 are in the fold below.

  1. 01

    Find the news (week 1)

A call with you and your sales head. What is new: a collection, a unit, an export order, a senior hire?

  2. 02

Choose desk and language (weeks 1-2)

City page, business page or trade title? Hindi, English or both? We mark the festival weeks to skip.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

Steps 3 to 6: the press kit, the pitch, the press meet and the monthly report.

How the work runs in Jaipur

3. Build the press kit (week 2)

Hindi and English notes, a fact sheet, photos and a one-page brief for your speaker.

4. Pitch by beat

We write to and call the reporters who cover your subject. No bought lists.

5. A Jaipur press meet, only for big news

A hotel meeting room sized to the turnout we honestly expect. Our in-house team travels to Jaipur to run it. The room set-up is delivered through PEXORA, a joint venture of PromotEdge and Prodigy, with partner agencies where a job needs them.

6. Report each month

What can't be measured can't be achieved. So you get each story with paper, date and language, then what moved: enquiries, dealer calls, searches for your name.

/ 06 Cost

What affects the cost of PR in Jaipur.

We don't publish a price list. We quote after a first talk, against a written scope. Earned stories carry no media bill. A room, photos or travel are billed at actuals, and you see each one before you approve it.

How we quote

  1. A first call about your news, your speaker and the Jaipur papers your buyers read
  2. A written story list: angles, Hindi or English, city or state desks, and the weeks to skip
  3. A written quote within 2 working days of that first call, with room, photo and travel costs on separate lines
  4. Work starts only after you approve the list and the quote

What you get in the quote

  • The stories we plan to pitch, and to which Jaipur and Rajasthan desks
  • Hindi and English notes, each written for its reader
  • Speaker briefs and practice, by number of sessions
  • Press meet costs in Jaipur, such as a room and photos, at actuals
  • Travel to Jaipur, shown before you approve it
  • A monthly log of what ran, where and in which language, with paid space marked as paid

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Monthly retainerA steady run of stories and interviews, with a monthly log; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop
Single announcementOne launch, MoU, new unit or festival-week story; timeline confirmed in the quote
Crisis readinessHolding lines, a speaker and a plan, set up before you need them; timeline confirmed in the quote

Six things that move the quote, and what to check when you compare quotes.

What changes the cost in Jaipur

Hindi and English versions. Each Hindi note is written fresh, not translated.

How far the story travels. One city-page pitch is less work than desks in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Festival timing. A JLF-week story needs pitching from December.

Press meets. A hotel room, sound and photos in Jaipur, plus travel to Jaipur.

Speaker practice. Sessions before a radio talk slot or a TV interview.

Sensitive subjects. Heritage or court-linked stories need extra checks and a legal read.

If a quote promises a set number of stories in a named paper, ask how. Paid space is fine when it is labelled and priced as an ad.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

Have news in Jaipur?

A launch, an order or a new unit? We'll tell you straight if a Jaipur desk would run it.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and most of the work runs online, in hybrid mode. Planning happens on video calls, with daily contact. We come to Jaipur at least every three months, and travel for press meets, interviews and launches too. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

  • We can't promise it, and nobody honest can. Editors choose what runs. We can give a reporter real news, in Hindi, on a good day, with a speaker ready. If anyone guarantees a story in a named paper, ask if it is paid.

  • Usually both, written separately. The Hindi dailies reach the most readers in Jaipur. English works for investor and export news. Our language partners write both, and can add French or Japanese for export buyers. Send us one story, and we say which language leads.

  • Only if your news is linked to books, ideas or the festival. JLF runs 14-18 January 2027, and the Kite Festival falls on its first day. Most other launches do better a week or two later. Tell us your launch date, and we will check it against festival week.

  • The signing was news in December 2024. The story after that is what came next: land bought, building started, people hired. Bring us those facts and we'll find the right desk. We write the Hindi note and prepare a speaker with you.

  • We won't claim that, and no one can prove it. Ask any agency who will call the reporters, and to see coverage they earned. Ask how they report. Be wary of anyone who promises placements. Ask to meet that person. Ask us the same.
