/ 01 PR agency in Indore

A city that has hosted the nation.Your news still has to earn its place.

No honest agency can promise a line of coverage, because readers believe a story only when you did not pay for the words. PromotEdge takes the real news in your business to the reporters who cover it, for Indore's makers, IT firms and food brands, so that buyers trust your name.

Public relations (PR) is getting someone else to tell your story. That someone may be a business reporter, a trade magazine editor or a radio host. Readers believe them because you did not pay for the words. For the same reason, no honest agency can promise you a single line of coverage.

/ 03 Indore's news, up close

Old Hindi papers, national guests and a proud civic record.

Five facts from public sources, checked on 4 October 2026. Each changes what we pitch, to whom and when. Two are below, and three more are in the fold after them.

1. The Hindi papers have deep roots here. Dainik Bhaskar has printed in Indore since 5 March 1983. DB Corp calls that edition the group's "first and biggest move outside home town of Bhopal". Nai Dunia was founded by freedom fighters Babu Labhchand Chhajlani, Basantilal Sethia and Narendra Tiwari, its own site says. Papers this old have long memories. So we send dates, figures and names, not adjectives.

2. Cleanliness is the city's story, not a brand's. Swachh Survekshan is the national cleanliness survey. At its 2024-25 awards on 17 July 2025, the government said Indore, Surat and Navi Mumbai had entered the "Super Swachh League". The league is for cities that "ranked in the top three at least once in the last three years". The result is news every year. A brand joins that story only with real work, such as how its plant handles waste. A logo beside the word "clean" is not news.

More on the city's papers, its national days and its business news, with sources.

Indore's news in depth

Indore's reporters are used to big days. The city hosted two national events in January 2023, and its cleanliness result makes headlines every year. A routine note from a local firm gets skipped. A note with one checkable fact gets read. We look at your business first, to find that fact. Marketing comes second.

3. English papers reach a different reader. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) audits the sales of member papers. Its English members with an Indore edition are Free Press, The Times of India and The Economic Times. Its Hindi ones are Dainik Bhaskar, Patrika and Dainik Agniban. Free Press is the Indore edition of The Free Press Journal, set up in Mumbai in 1928 by S. Sadanand. English suits investor, IT and export news.

4. The national spotlight came, and moved on. The 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, a convention of overseas Indians, met at the Brilliant Convention Centre on 8-10 January 2023. Opening it, PM Modi spoke of Indore's food and its cleanliness. The Global Investors Summit closed in the city on 12 January 2023, with 84 countries taking part, a Union Minister said. Those were 2023's stories. Change is the only constant. News is what was built, signed or hired since.

5. Business news runs from the Super Corridor to Pithampur. On 16 September 2026, Infosys announced a new software block in Indore. A published copy of the release says the centre has "more than 3,300 employees". NATRAX, the national vehicle-testing centre, covers about 3,000 acres near Pithampur. Suppliers, caterers and recruiters around such sites have stories too. A trade magazine often suits them better than the city page. The cards below turn these facts into work.

Papers, radio and the calendarthat decide when a story lands.

In Indore, shops and dealers read the Hindi dailies, so write the Hindi note first. Newspaper city pages fill with festival photos in March and September, so launch on another day. Get permission before you put up any banner.

WhatIn IndoreWhat it means for your story
Hindi dailiesDainik Bhaskar (Indore edition since 1983), Patrika and Dainik Agniban, all ABC members. The list covers members only, so Nai Dunia has no row.Hindi note first. Shops, homes, dealers and your own staff read these.
Nai DuniaFounded by freedom fighters, says its own site. Naidunia.com is run by Jagran New Media.Print and website are separate desks. We ask each what it needs.
English papersFree Press, The Times of India and The Economic Times (ABC list).Investor, IT and export news.
RadioFour private FM stations at 92.7, 93.5, 94.3 and 98.3 MHz (government list, 30 March 2026). Akashvani: Primary 648 kHz and Vividh Bharati 101.6 MHz.Talk slots suit experts with useful advice. Paid spots are advertising, not PR.
CleanlinessSuper Swachh League entry at the 2024-25 awards (17 July 2025). In November 2025 the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) signed a "Swachh Shahar Jodi" pairing to help a town council, Depalpur Nagar Parishad.Civic stories need real work, not a borrowed badge.
Festival daysRangpanchami (March): the corporation sprays coloured water on old Indore's main streets. Anant Chaturdashi (September): tableaux with the old textile mills. Both come every year.City pages fill with festival photos. Launch on another day, unless your story is the festival.
Hoardings and postersOn 31 July 2026 the mayor ordered illegal hoardings removed, citing "zero-tolerance". A report dated 28 July 2026 says the High Court at Indore ordered removal within 24 hours, with police cases.A launch banner put up without permission can become the story. Check first.

Sources as cited in each row, checked 4 October 2026. Papers, stations, events and firms are named as facts about Indore, not as PromotEdge clients, partners or contacts. Next: how the first months run.

/ 05 Our first 90 days

Test a few angles, then back the one that works.

The full steps are in the fold below.

  1. 01

A call about what changed (week 1)

You, your founder and whoever sells. Sales staff hear buyers' questions daily, and those questions often point to the story.

  2. 02

Two or three angles, tested small (weeks 2 to 4)

Each angle goes to a few reporters who cover your field. Their replies show which one works.

Tell us what’s not working. We’ll send you an honest one-page growth plan, free.

How we work with you, and all six steps of the first 90 days.

How the work runs in Indore

A straight answer on how we work: our servicing team is based in cities across India, and we have worked with Indian brands since 2015. Writing, calls and email carry most PR work, in hybrid mode. We travel for interviews and press meets, and when a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

Our Indore overview covers the city as a market, and our public relations services page covers our method. This page sticks to Indore's papers, calendar and business news.

  1. A call about what changed (week 1) You, your founder and whoever sells. Sales staff hear buyers' questions daily, and those questions often point to the story.
  2. Two or three angles, tested small (weeks 2 to 4) Each angle goes to a few reporters who cover your field. Their replies show which one works. Every business is different, so we never copy a rival's plan.
  3. A kit the reporter can use Hindi and English notes, a one-page fact sheet, real photos and a brief for your speaker.
  4. Pick a quiet day Not a festival day, a cleanliness-result day or a day of big civic news.
  5. A meet in Indore, if the news is big A room sized to the turnout we honestly expect. We travel to Indore to run it, with a partner agency only if the meet needs extra hands.
  6. Read, then scale (monthly) A log of each story, paper, date and language, with paid space marked. Then what followed: enquiries, dealer calls, name searches. More effort goes where it worked.
/ 06 Cost

What changes the cost of PR in Indore.

We don't publish a price list. We write a scope after a first talk and quote against it. Earned stories carry no media bill. Rooms, photos and travel are billed at actuals, shown before you approve.

What affects the cost

  • Languages. Hindi, English or both, each written for its own reader.
  • Which desks. Indore city pages only, or trade titles across India too.

How we quote

  1. A call about your news, your speaker and your Indore readers
  2. A written story list: each angle, its desk, its language and the days to avoid
  3. A written quote within 2 working days of that first call, with any room, photo or travel cost on its own line
  4. Nothing starts until you approve both

What you get in the quote

  • The stories we plan to offer, and the Indore, state or trade desk for each
  • Speaker practice, as a number of sessions
  • Press meet and travel costs at actuals, each on its own line
  • A monthly log of what ran, with any paid space marked as paid

How it is billed

Way of workingWhen it fits
Monthly retainerA steady run of stories and comment, with a monthly log; minimum 3 months, 30 days' notice to stop
One announcementOne expansion, opening or first-in-Indore launch, from draft to follow-up; timeline confirmed in the quote
Ready for a bad dayA first statement and a trained speaker, set up in advance; timeline confirmed in the quote

Ask for a free plan: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists and a one-page plan. We take on a limited number, so we'll tell you honestly if it's a fit.

Three more things that can change your quote, and a tip for comparing quotes.

What else changes the cost in Indore

How much real news you have. A run of stories takes more work than one announcement.

Press meets in Indore. Room, photos and travel, only when the news needs a meet.

Sensitive subjects. Civic or legal angles need extra checks and a lawyer's read.

Comparing quotes? Ask whether any "assured coverage" is an advertorial, a paid ad dressed as news.

/ 07 What happens next

What happensafter you ask.

For projects we think we can help, this is how it goes.

  1. 01

    A strategist calls you

In one working day: a 30-minute call with one of our strategists about your business and what is not working.

  2. 02

    You get a 1-page plan

A short, honest plan: what to fix first and what we would do. It is free.

  3. 03

A quote, if you want one

If you want to go ahead, we send a quote within 2 working days.

We confirm the timeline in the quote. Contracts start at 3 months, with 30 days' notice to stop.

News from your Indore business?

Tell us what changed in your business. We'll say honestly whether a reporter would care.

Or leave your number. A strategist calls you in one working day.

We use these details only to call you back. Privacy notice.

Straight answers.

  • Our servicing team is based in cities across India, and an in-house team of 65+ works with it, with industry consultants or a partner agency for some jobs. We are in touch daily and meet you in Indore at least once every three months. When a job needs it, a team member works from your site.

  • It finds the real news in your business and offers it to the reporters who cover your field. It also prepares your speaker for interviews and bad days. For a Pithampur supplier, that may mean a trade magazine. For a food brand near Sarafa, the city page.

  • No. An editor decides, and no honest agency can promise it. We can bring a reporter real news, in Hindi, with facts and photos ready, on a day that isn't crowded. If someone guarantees a named paper, ask if the space is paid.

  • Most Indore stories need Hindi first, because shops, homes, dealers and staff read the Hindi dailies. English helps when the reader is an investor, an IT client or a buyer in another state. Each version is written fresh. Through our language partners we write notes in Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati and more.

  • The summit was news in January 2023. After that, the story is what happened since: land bought, a unit running, people hired, a first export. Bring dated facts and photos. A plan with nothing built yet rarely interests a business desk.

  • Real news can run within days. Becoming a name Indore reporters ring for a comment takes longer, with steady work. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Measure it by what follows: enquiries, dealer calls, job applications and people searching your name.
