Advertising agencyin Gurgaon
An ad that breaks the city's rules is money thrown away. Every site checked against the city's approved list before you pay.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Ads that pass the rulesand bring the calls.
Mass-media ads pay only when they reach people who can buy from you, and in Gurgaon the street rules decide what you may run. PromotEdge, an advertising agency, plans, writes and books newspaper, radio and outdoor ads for offices, shops and factories.
Then we check each release against the calls it brings.
Mainline advertising, or ATL (above the line), means mass media: papers, radio, TV and big hoardings.
A note on the name. The official name is Gurugram, and the civic body is the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG). Most people search for Gurgaon, so this page uses that. Both mean the same city.
Our Delhi team looks after Gurgaon. The first meeting is a video call, and we visit for plan reviews and site checks.
Our method is on the advertising services page, and the city on our Gurgaon page. Planning in other cities too? See advertising in Mumbai and Delhi NCR.

Strict streets, borrowed airwaves.
Four facts change how we build an advertising plan for this city.
The street has a rulebook, and it is enforced. Outdoor ads follow the Haryana Municipal Corporation Advertisement Bye-laws, 2022, and MCG gives the approvals. In August 2025 it published a full list of approved sites, the first since 2008. On 19 August it took down unipoles (big hoardings on a single pole) that broke the rules.
A board without approval faces three times the permitted fee, as reported then. A cheap site with no approval is the costliest in town.
The city earns more from ads each year. The Tribune reported in December 2024 that MCG's ad income grew from ₹14.66 crore in 2021-22 to ₹26.82 crore in 2022-23, then ₹54.16 crore in 2023-24. MCG aimed for ₹100 crore in 2024-25 and had ₹70 crore by the end of November 2024. For you, that means legal sites, paperwork and firmer rates.
Cross into Delhi and the rules change. Delhi follows its own Outdoor Advertising Policy 2017. Each ad on a digital screen must stay up at least 8 seconds. Delhi Police asked for boards 100 metres apart on main roads. One campaign across the border can need two permissions.
Radio here means Delhi radio. The district sits about 30 km south of New Delhi, and the ministry's FM list has no Gurgaon entry. The district site calls the city an IT hub and BPO centre, and the Manesar-Bawal belt the country's auto hub.
Our beliefWe'd rather show you results than a nice presentation.
The media and dateswe plan around.
| Medium or date | What the record shows | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Papers with a Gurgaon edition | The Tribune (English), Dainik Tribune (Hindi) and Punjabi Tribune (Punjabi) are ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) members. National dailies come from their New Delhi editions. | City offers and openings. We ask each paper for its own figures. |
| Private FM | No Gurgaon entry on the MIB list of 30 March 2026. Delhi has 9 stations: 91.1, 92.7, 93.5, 94.3, 95.0, 98.3, 104.0, 104.8 and 107.2 MHz. | Two or three stations beat nine thin ones. |
| Akashvani Delhi (government card, not ours) | FM Rainbow 102.6 MHz and FM Gold 100.1 MHz: ₹1,100 gross per 10 seconds in prime time (7 to 11 am, 5 to 11 pm). Vividh Bharati 106.4 MHz: ₹500. Card in force since 1 June 2017. | A first budget figure only. We confirm the rate before booking. |
| Shows and festivals | India Mobile Congress ran 7 to 10 October 2026 at Yashobhoomi. India International Trade Fair: 14 to 27 November, Bharat Mandapam. Bharat Mobility Global Expo: 4 to 9 February 2027. Delhi's list has Dussehra on 20 October and Diwali on 8 November 2026. | Good paper positions and radio slots fill early. Book four to six weeks ahead of shows and festivals. |
Sources as cited, checked 4 October 2026. The MCG facts come from news reports (storyboard18, August 2025; The Tribune, December 2024), not MCG's own site. Papers and stations are options, not our clients. The Akashvani rate is a government rate.

How we deliver it, and why
How your business model changes the plan
An office-park firm wants Tribune editions and drive-time radio. A parts maker on the auto belt wants dealers to hear its name. A showroom wants a hoarding on its buyers' road.
Who sets the rules and who measures
ASCI, formed in 1985, works to keep Indian ads decent, fair and honest. AAAI, formed in 1945, calls itself the apex body of advertising. MRUC, a not-for-profit body since 1994, runs the Indian Readership Survey.

- Start from what one enquiry costs you today. Without that number no medium can be judged. A starting cost per lead.
- Pick two layers, not three. A thin budget spread over radio, press and outdoor is noticed on none. A plan with two layers and one offer.
- Check the paperwork before the rate. A site without approval is a risk, however cheap. An approval seen on paper for each site.
- Make the offer fit the frame. An LED ad gets 8 seconds and a radio spot gets 10. Scripts timed to the second.
AI in advertising: today and next
Today: Adobe Firefly
Adobe says Firefly can generate images and video clips and arrange concepts into storyboards. It calls its models commercially safe, trained on licensed Adobe Stock and public domain content. Good for rough frames. A designer still checks size and the permission rules.

What affects the cost of advertising in Gurgaon.
Paper space, airtime, sites, printing and mounting are billed at actuals, and you see each rate before you approve it.
What affects the cost
- Papers and editions: Gurgaon editions alone, or New Delhi editions for the region
- Ad size, colour, page position and days
- Radio: how many Delhi stations, spots per day and weeks on air
- Hoardings: approved site, size, months held, printing and mounting
- A Delhi or Noida leg, which needs its own checks
How we quote
- A video call about your buyers and last year's results, then a written scope
- Rates collected, each site matched to MCG's list, and one quote within 2 working days
What you get in the quote
- Our fee for planning, writing, design and booking, on its own line
Compare quotes line by line. Is media included? Is GST? Is each outdoor site on MCG's list?
What happensafter you ask.

Our Delhi team looks after Gurgaon, backed by a servicing team in cities across India. Most planning happens on video calls. We visit regularly for plan reviews and site checks, and place the team at your site when a launch needs it.

No. Outdoor ads need MCG approval under Haryana's 2022 bye-laws, and MCG has published a list of approved sites since August 2025. A board without approval faces a penalty of three times the fee, as reported. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
-
Not on the ministry's list of March 2026. Delhi is the licensed city, with 9 private FM stations. We ask each station for its own reach figures for Gurgaon before we book. That decides which two or three are worth your money.
-
Yes. Office buyers often read English. For shoppers, a Hindi ad written for them, not translated word for word, usually works better. Our language partners write ads in Hindi and other Indian languages, and our own team checks every version before it runs.
-
A press or radio ad with a clear offer brings calls in the week it runs. Hoardings work over a month or two. Judge a plan after two or three releases. We confirm the timeline in the quote. Ongoing work has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
-
We won't claim that, and nobody can prove it. Ask each agency four things. Who will plan and book your ads? Can they show results with numbers? Will they give media rates in writing? Will they show MCG approval for every site? Ask us the same.
