“We booked the biggest mall in the city, and the wrong crowd walked past.”
A mall near your dealers, with the shoppers you sell to, often beats the famous one. We compare malls on who visits.

Thousands walk past every day. We make the right ones stop, try and leave a number.
A strategist calls you in one working day.
Too often a mall stall draws a crowd and lots of photos, but almost no phone numbers. PromotEdge runs atrium events, kiosks and experience zones across India, so shoppers who stop become leads and sales.
Every run starts from a number we agree first.
Choose a mall over a society or street activation when you need many shoppers with money to spend, in a clean and safe space, on a fixed weekend. A mall gives you the crowd. It does not give you their attention. That part is our job.
The crowds are real. South City Mall in Kolkata was reported in June 2025 to draw 55,000 to 60,000 visitors a day, and 75,000 to 2 lakh on weekends and festivals. Most came for something else, so a banner gets a glance at best.
Our job is to impress your customers, not you. So we design the reason to stop first: a test, a game, a sample to taste or a two-minute demonstration with a next step. Then we pick the mall and spot. Crews, stalls and set-up are delivered within the PromotEdge group.
Malls suit B2C (selling to consumers) and D2C brands. Real estate projects book site visits there and banks and insurers open accounts. Manufacturers with a retail line, such as appliances or tools, let shoppers try the product. Clinics and diagnostic centres can run a health-check stall. A dealer-led brand whose buyers are masons or electricians does better with influencer meets than a mall stall.
| Format | When it works, and what you get back |
|---|---|
| Kiosk or stall | Steady, low-cost presence over many days: sign-ups, apps, small products. Daily counts of people engaged and cost per lead |
| Atrium event | A product launch, contest or show that needs a stage and a crowd. Participants, leads and social posts |
| Experience zone | Products people must try: cars, two-wheelers, appliances, beauty. Trials or test drives booked, and follow-ups |
| Display with a crew | A car, bike or product on show for weeks, with a small crew at peak hours. Enquiries and visits to your nearby store |
| Tie-up with an in-mall store | Your stall sends buyers to a store in the same mall with a code. Codes redeemed link the stall to sales |
Each mall sets its own rules on space, sound, set-up times, branding and safety. We confirm them in writing before costing.

“Our kiosk sat in a corner nobody passed.”
The same kiosk sees very different traffic near the escalators than in a corner. We walk the mall at your hours.
“The set-up wasn't ready when the mall opened.”
Most malls allow set-up only outside trading hours. We plan build, entry and safety checks with the mall's operations team.
“We have photos and a crowd count, but no leads.”
Leads are captured by tablet, QR code or WhatsApp, with consent, and reach your sales team the same day.
“The weekend we booked clashed with the mall's own sale.”
We check the mall's events, sale periods and nearby bookings before we confirm a date.
Have a mall and a weekend in mind? Send both, and we will tell you what a good day would look like. Get a free growth plan
A single-mall weekend usually needs two to three weeks of preparation; festive dates need booking earlier. We can't do magic alone: send your targets and store list early.
What a good day looks like: people engaged, trials, leads or sales, and the cost per lead you can afford.
Malls compared by who visits, nearness to your stores and free dates.
Space, dates, layout, sound and safety approved in writing by the mall.
Stall design done, crew trained on the product and on recording consent.
A supervisor on site, an evening report by day and hour, and a change of plan if a spot underperforms.
Leads go to sales the same day, and we note what to repeat.

A D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand uses a kiosk to turn trials into online orders. A dealer-led brand sends buyers to the nearest store with a code. A franchise tests one mall before opening an outlet. A services brand books appointments on the spot.
Meta announced Business AI on WhatsApp in May 2026 for eligible small and medium Indian businesses. It answers customer questions around the clock, captures leads and books appointments, and the owner can step in or turn it off. A stall QR code can lead to it.

Meta says only eligible businesses can use it, and does not list the criteria. At the stall, a trained person still wins the two minutes.
Our view: follow-up will get faster, so the reason to stop matters more. Want us to plan yours? Ask us.

We don't publish a price list. We quote each mall run after a first conversation, against a written plan, within 2 working days. The mall's space fee is passed on at actuals.
Compare quotes on what a lead is likely to cost, not on the space fee alone. A cheaper corner can be dearest if nobody passes it.

Rajat ChatterjeeHead Business Development at Birdman Chemeng Pvt Ltd.It depends on the mall, the spot, the dates and the format. A weekday kiosk and a festive weekend on an atrium stage are very different budgets. We don't publish a price list. We quote after a first conversation, against a written plan, with the mall's space fee at actuals.
It plans and runs your brand's stall, kiosk or stage inside a mall, and turns the shoppers who stop into leads or sales. That covers choosing the mall and spot, booking, building the stall, training the crew, capturing leads with consent and reporting every day. Festive weekends are booked early.
A kiosk is cheaper and works over many days, for steady sign-ups and enquiries. An atrium event costs more and suits a launch or a contest that needs a crowd at one time. Many brands start with kiosks to find the right mall, then book an atrium there.
That depends on the mall's rules and your category. Some malls allow on-the-spot sales or bookings, others allow only demonstrations and lead capture, especially when a store in the mall sells the same thing. We confirm this with the mall before planning.
Against targets set before the day: people engaged, trials, leads with consent and cost per lead, by hour. What can't be measured can't be achieved, so you get an evening report each day and cost per qualified lead by mall. Where a store is involved, codes link the stall to sales.
